I really like my Culligan Water service. Quality product, good dispenser, reasonable prices and good customer service overall. I sense a careful efficiency in the company; simple service with simple website and good but not extravagant customer service. In other words, I have experienced a little difficulty in getting through to ask questions or straighten out bills. But I do love that I can speak to an actual person when I can. THAT I like very much!

25 years ago we replaced our old system with CULLIGAN. We have had excellent service over the years. Great employees, wonderful drivers who will take the salt to the basement, fill the tank and take away the bags.If I need a delivery before set date, they will go out of their way to get it here ASAP!I have always felt safe with ALL their drivers. Our current driver, Carl, is wonderful, polite, respectful and great to chat with! Always look forward to hearing how is TWIN daughters and wife are doing!Here comes the CULLIGAN MAN.

I’ve had great experiences with everyone I’ve encountered from Culligan. Both technicians I Dealt with recently were very experienced, communicated everything with me, and often had great suggestions that went above and beyond their responsibilities.Karen was great with every communication I had with her and she always made sure I had everything I needed every step of the way including following up after it was installed. She made it clear that she is here for me for any water needs that arise no matter what. All of our water issues have been resolved and the whole family is extremely happy.

This 5 start review is for Karen. She visited our home for a free water testing. She is extremely knowledgeable and very well trained. She has immense experience and is local to ann arbor. I was most impressed by her honesty. She spent 2 hours of her time at our home and went over the details of all our equipment, maintenance, went to change equipment and what we could do as home owner to prolong the life of our equipment. At no point did she try and persuade us to switch our equipment. So, to summarize, very good first impression, I hope we continue to work well together! I believe that Karen does have the clients best interest in her heart.

Culligan Water has been superb in their customer service and thei technicians have been great. Their product is superb and they are awesome with their customers. I recommend them highly to anyone thinking of a water filtration system. I purchased this for my daughter and her family for Christmas last year as she is always concerned about their drinking water. She has used many Brita water pitchers, an upscale ionization water filter, another high tech water filter system, spent thousands of dollars. Nothing, nothing, nothing compares or comes even close to Culligan. She and the family are thrilled with it. They installed the water spout and the pressure is amazing; the water pours out quickly and there is no after taste at all! It’s like drinking pure spring water.All I have to say is if you’re thinking about a water filtration system...stop thinking...I’ve done all the research and Culligan is what you want!

Unfortunately, we have not had good experience with either Culligan of Ann Arbor nor the equipment we have been renting. I contacted them re: a free flowing discharge issue recently and it took multiple weeks to get a tech onsite to fix the unit. First their phone system wasnt working and it took about a week to get a response to the website contact I left. It then took more than a week to get someone out to correct the problem, their agent indicated they had limited availability of technicians available to service our area. She offered to credit our account for the delays, but the issue wasnt crediting the account it was the lack of service response. I have had repeated problems with the softener since installation, a tech finally discovered a valve in the unit was bleeding unsoftened water into the system which resulted in poor water quality. The tech had the same system (dual tank, dual valve) installed in his home and had the same problem. This was after repeated service calls including by the service manager who indicated the unit was working properly. I have been waiting for a call back this morning to cancel the service for over an hour, after being assured they were experiencing unexpected call volumes and I would be called back promptly in the order received by entering my number for a return call. Unacceptable service levels for something as important as water in your home.

We have their water softener system which we rent so that service is their responsibility and a water cooler system with hot and cold water available and the jug loads from the bottom!!! We have been customers for many years and plan to remain customers for many more. Great customer service, great staff, who are knowledgeable about their products, including which installation would provide the best possible outcome, while educating the consumer on safe and proper use.

We had rented for 20yrs a water softener from Culligan and not once did it break down. We decided just to buy our own from them because of the longevity of the Culligan softner. After the softener, we decided to get an iron filter installed in addition to the softener. The customer service is great to talk with and set us up for an appointment with the sale. The sales person Karen was very knowledgeable and was not pushy whatsoever. She was the best salesperson I have seen in a long time. She was more concerned about our water than pushing an expensive iron filter system we didnt need. I was impressed. The Installer Adam was very knowledgeable, neat, and clean with the install. There was a Major Katastrify and our main water supply shut off valve broke and spayed him like someone took a hose and soaked him. He took it all in stride and told me that this is just part of the job and once he dried off he replaced it for me. Moved into a new place that already had a Culligan water softener installed and an RO. The water softener was not working property at all. It took a number of weeks of phone calls and emails for Culligan to finally send a tech out to my house. To be honest, I was pretty displeased at this point. However, the tech, Marcus Noder completely turned my bad experience around. Marcus quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the bad parts. He had everything with him that he might possible need, and even let me watch over his shoulder as he worked so he could explain how the system works. He was a joy to be around and incredibly professional. He is the reason I am giving Culligan 5 stars, and the reason they will continue to have my business.

Water tasted really nice and Is the only option if you dont want PFAS in your water. However i live in an apartment and the pick up and drop off never really worked out. Too inconsistent for something as important as safe drinking water.

Karen Moore almost instantly called me and set up a date to come out and test our water and inspect our system. She arrived right on time. Karen is GREAT and very knowledgeable. She tested the water, took a look at the system (Kinetico) and determined that NOTHING needed to be done. She *could have easily fooled me* into spending a ton of money - possibly replacing everything, but Karen is HONEST and told me that system was fine, to use Iron-Out salt in it and to replace the prefilter once every three months. She even showed me how to cycle a system of her competitor. WOW! I asked how much I owed her for driving out twenty three miles each way and for her time - - - she said ZERO. Nothing! I was simply asstounded. She also showed me how to check the pressure tank for the sake of the system and our 2 year old $8000 well. If this is what you get for paying nothing, I can only imagine how well she will take care of you when you buy a new system from her.I am almost 62 years old and have had a lot of experiences. I cannot say enough good things about Karen Moore and Culligan of Ann Arbor & Detroit. 10 stars +++++++!!!

Well… buyer beware they say. 3.5 years ago I purchased a top of the line, salt saving (dynamic) water softener and iron filter from Culligan/Halls Water at over $5k and it has been nothing but trouble since day 1. Literally day 1 the installer left it in bypass mode and for a week I kept calling the sales person to no avail and no answer. It took over 2 weeks to get someone over to fix it.For the next 2 years someone was at my house every couple of months trying to fix the fact that my water was intermittently not soft, and was smelly.We finally got through that but with 2 of us in the house we were going through insane amounts of salt (4-6 bags a month). And for the next year they came to try to fix that (about 5 visits) but never could.Did I mention the service manager was here at least 5 times. I will not name him by name, but sadly I know it all too well. I should not know his name.This is not my first softener, but for sure my last from Culligan/Halls Water. In each of my 3 previous softeners, over about 10 years, I never had a service call. Today I signed a contract with a new company that will be ripping this one out and replacing it.The new company noted some strange things: 1) it appears that the iron filter was about 12 years old and likely a repurposed rental, not new. 2) he said the use of Pex pipes was not the right way to do it. He also noted that we were oversold and that we could have used a much more cost effective simple system and when properly set up would only need to add salt at a much lower rate than we had been.I probably have enough to sue them but at this point I am just looking forward to not dealing with these yahoos any more. Don’t be fooled that Culligan invented the softener therefor must be the best. Halls Water clearly is not.

The original gentleman I set up my water delivery with, who I think may have been the owner, was great. The rest of the office staff is completely inept and unprofessional. They took me off paperless billing and charged me for a year of paper statements when they typed my email address in wrong, even though I was receiving other emails from them and communicating via email with the owner and office staff the whole time. And they emailed me at said email address to let me know they had the wrong one on file for billing! Then, I couldnt register my account online because they also typed my zip code in wrong, even though it was correct on those paper bills I was paying for! So of course you cant register online when your account information doesnt match. And every time I call theyre not very pleasant and act like I did something wrong when Im having to take time out of work to figure out their mistakes. Going to try to find another service.

From the very beginning Culligan of A2 has helped may take care of a bad water problem. I moved into my house approximately four years ago and called them to analyze my water. It was very hard and rust color.! Bad.! They allowed me to rent the equipment for one year so that I could see for myself what the results would be.At the end of that one year they applied all the money that I paid on the equipment toward the purchase of everything I needed going forward.They also deliver my salt regularly with great customer service. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a water softener as well as a reverse osmosis filter for drinking water.! A+++

I recently had a Culligan reverse osmosis drinking water system installed. My home has well water, and I was often concerned about our drinking water quality. I now feel like I dont have to worry about that anymore. Culligan met my individual needs by providing an affordable customized system. My salesperson, Karen M., took a lot of time to explain all of the options and recommendations in detail to me. She even looked at my current softening system, which is a different brand, and informed me how to modify the settings to significantly improve the performance of the existing unit, without trying to upsell me into a new Culligan system. Also, I was very happy with my installer, Marcus N. He was punctual, courteous, and very professional. He took the time to carefully explain my new system to me and was able to answer all of my questions. Overall, Culligan has been a great company to work with. We love our water softener. We use less soap (shower, dishes, clothes). Our skin and hair feels so much better. Our reverse osmosis system is amazing. Culligan Water is bestI was with the other company for 3 years and their customer service and delivery schedule is inconvenient for working people. Culligans employees are ALWAYS friendly. They arrive within a two hour window. They have carried 9 bottles up two flights of stairs for me, without complaint! The water taste great and I was not pressured to purchase a cooler/dispenser. I hope they continue to provide me service for many years to come.

Communication sadly lacking! Had an appointment on a Monday. Was promised a call on Friday (even called on Friday and was told someone would call me that afternoon with a time frame). Surprise, no call. Then called Monday was given a time frame, surprise didnt show up until 3 hours later. No call to tell me that they were running behind (I get it. It happens BUT communicate). Couldnt even do all the service work due to not having all the filters on the truck. Tech offered to drive 45 minutes one way (almost 2 hours in rush hour)to get one and replace but it will be another charge even though when set up appointment was quoted a price that included it. Communication is horrible. Did talk to manager after the fact and they corrected situation.Service tech also encouraged us to lie and say he broke our system so we could get a new one at no cost.However, I will NEVER use them again as I dont have time for their lack of communication. I can be understanding when there is communication. When this current system I have quits I will go to another brand as there is a Culligan store less than 15 minutes from my house but they cant service my equipment due to boundaries and this store wont release us.

We have been through 3 water companies in the 5 years I have been here - and Culligan by far has the best prices and equipment. However, all that is not why I am taking the time to fill this out today... I want to tell you about Robert Hernandez, our delivery guy. Good products and services are one asset to a company, but its people are the real heart. Robert, for the few months he has been our delivery guy, has been such a pleasure. He didnt once complain that our office drop-offs are split across campus. He always changes my water for me when he gets here and its low. He is friendly, and professional. Today, when he arrived my office was full of students and we mentioned that we were going to go to the dance studio. I joked that our dance student better teach him a move if we have to go to the dance studio - and the student said okay, put your arms and legs like this and started to demonstrate a move. To my surprise, Robert did exactly as she instruct ed and learned the move, much to all of the students delight. Most people would have shook their heads and ran for it. What a charismatic guy who puts our students and staff at ease and makes him a pleasure to have on campus. When he told me today that he will no longer be on our route because he is taking a warehouse job within the company, I hugged him... we all wish him well and hope that occasionally he may be asked to go out on our route again! Take good care of your good employees, Culligan!

We have had absolutely no deliveries for many months. We have multiple accounts and Ive called not once, not twice, but 4 times requesting service to no avail. I want to make it clear that weve been having trouble since BEFORE COVID. This delivery failure is not the result of recent times. When dealing with the individual who receives phones at the office, Im told they will correct the issue, this is not true. There is no point to having an unreliable, unflexible service. After being a customer since 2018, we will be canceling both of our accounts and going to Absopure of Ann Arbor.This review is not to disparage this company, but more to warn other busy proffessionals who dont have time to wait on hold, calling Culligan over and over again requesting service to no avail.Canceling btw, has proven unnecessarily difficult.

The experience was perfect from beginning to end. I have been a Culligan customer for more than 18 years and my old unit began to slow down. I knew I needed a new unit. Prince came to my home and ran a test and determined exactly what I needed. He was great at explaining how the equipment worked and the differences between the old unit and the new unit. Technology has improved greatly. My Culligan softener learns how much water I am using and saves me electricity, salt, and water. I can see why this won a Consumers Digest award. The installer was very polite and professional. He showed me how to use the menu. Great experience.

I enjoyed having my water delivered to the home.. It makes life so much easier than having to go to a grocery store or a convenience store to buy 5 gallon jugs of water and carry them all the way home... I dont even have to be at home... my Culligan delivery man brings it right to my porch CH, and picks up my empties. A person couldnt ask any more.The flavor of the water is really tasteful... and the rental of the water cooler is so cheap its hardly even noticeable.... theyre so easy to work with, you can even set up arrangements to have your payment directly taken out of your banking account... to me I dont even have to see them unless so choose... their delivery is always on time, and the payment goes directly to them.. I would recommend you contact your Culligan man ASAP

The softener works and I love the salt delivery. I dont need an extra water filter for drinking because the water already tastes so good. With no softener our water is brown, smells and stains everything. The quick installation and removal of our old softener, low monthly payments, salt delivery and clear, clean water make this a simple decision to go with Culligan.

Pleasant, professional salesman that provided great comparison information on the System they were able to offer, compared to my current system. Pricing was better, PLUS now have the Hot Water option that we didnt have before. They were even willing to compensate us for additional charges that were incurred on us returning our previous System. Would definitely recommend them to everyone!

The advisor Karen was very friendly and knowledgeable. She knew the general water conditions in the area and did a thourogh rundown of what equipment would work best for the conditions. The installation tech Ray was friendly and knowledgeable about the installation, and setup of the equipment. He was courteous and worked in a professional manner. Overall I am pleased with the process and so far the equipment is doing a great job on the water.

For the first time in my new house I can drink the water! It has none of the nasty smell or taste that I had before the reverse osmosis system. Its just water - clean, clear, tasteless and odorless - just like water should be. Both Karen Moore and Marcus Noder were a pleasure to work with, both very knowledgeable and friendly.

I have had a Kinectco system for 15 years with no problems. After being away for a few months the well water felt different and smelled. Was told I needed a new system and to get a discount had one day to decide. I called Culligan and Karen came out the next day at 7:30am. Did same tests and told me the softener was actually still working, changed a prefilter and educated me on things to check-like tank pressure, and flipping the old water in the hot water tank and manually regenerating the tanks to recharge. Pleased to say my water is back to normal. I may need another filter, but not a whole new system at the moment. She is careful and takes one step at a time, which I appreciate as a customer. When I do need a new system you can be sure I will call Karen and Culligan. She is my new go to water person!

I do not leave reviews. But the service this office provides in terms of handling their customers is absolutely the worst Ive ever received. If you purchase a Culligan system know this. The system has worked well for me so far although it was only installed 8 months ago. BUT THEIR DELIVERY SERVICE IS A JOKE!!! They promise that if you purchase this THREE THOUSAND DOLLAR water system that youll get salt and filters delivered to your doorstep on a quarterly basis so you dont have to go out and do it yourself. Do yourself a favor and shop around for a company that can deliver on their promises. And save yourself the effort on calling the local office they wont help you.

I truly wish that we could receive the same great service that all of these reviews claim to receive. Nearly every time our house places an order, they screw it up. The driver never shows up on delivery day. We have a phrase in our household, Did you Call Again Culligan? because we ALWAYS have to Call Again! Most recently the driver showed up the next day beyond delivery and also gave us the wrong bottle of water. Call Again! The company has to treat their employees like dog meat, because I cant fathom why their drivers continue to be so incompetent.Two stars: One for the actual water (when it shows up). One for the phone customer service as Hailey (sp?) always keeps it professional.

We had a significant water pressure problem in our house. Our plumber came out, and made sure the well was working fine. He said the problem was a filtration issue, and said we should get someone who deals in that. Our plumber did not charge us for this.So we call Culligan. They send someone out. The guy looks at our iron remover, triggers the backwash. and just says that the problem is a clog in the pipes between the well and the filter. Didnt test pressure or anything like that.So we call the plumber back. This time, the plumber walks through every possible point, showing that the pressure is perfectly fine at all points. He locates a specific filter that had been clogged - this was definitely a filtration issue. In this case, I am charged for the call.With this information, I call Culligan and ask to have my bill adjusted. Their misdiagnosis and lack of interest in finding the problem cost us more money than just their service call. I get their call center, who submits the paperwork to the person who is able to adjust bills for their group. NO RETURN CALL. And now the bill is due. Everything Im reading online says that Culligan just hands their bills off to a collection agency, so Im not about to risk that.To be fair, the guy they sent out was pleasant, even if he didnt seem to be interested in testing the system at all.

Havent had salt delivered in 6 months. was to be delivered on the 31st of dec. got a call the day before, said between 12 and 2. sat here till 2:30 no show. looked at my cell phone, some man called and said the driver had called in sick. called the company to complain, the lady on the phone said because the roads were so bad they called off deliverys for the day. the roads were good here. was told I would get a delivery saturday. the lady then said, if your out of salt go buy a bag and put it in yourself!!! so now its saturday and im setting here at 8:00 A.M. waiting . looked on the computer to find that they are closed on saturdays!!! getting madder by the min. nothing but a total run around.
