I had a horrible horrible experience with this pharmacy twice, they are totally unprofessionals I don’t know how to tell their lack of motives to help their customers. I happen to have a refill for a simple order but they make it very complex and even you will never get an answer why you can not get the refill they will simply tell you to wait for hours for no reason. I wish I know how to fill a formal complaint for this case. My advice, do not ever go to this pharmacy at all . I doubt the staff behind the counter know what health care and customer service is all about.

The pharmacy is lazy and never runs efficiently or effectively. Orders get lost. There is no accountability. Even if a prescription is sent HOURS ahead of pick up the medication will not be ready and you can expect atleast and 1.5 hr wait for it to be done. I was told one prescription was not ready on Friday at 8 o’clock pm when my doctor sent the prescription at 2:30pm. The other prescription I was told would not be available until Monday. Well you guessed it! Monday at 5:30, the prescription had not even been worked on!!! I would not recommend to anyone, if you want or need your medication at a fast rate this is not the pharmacy to visit. This will be my last time using this pharmacy they are always disappointing. Not only my prescription but my son and my mother. We will not return for any of their services.

Went to the Pharmacy to pick up a prescription for my 1 month old baby. There was an issue with the insurance as she is brand new and some confusion about which insurance was to pay what. The staff was incredibly rude. They asked to have my health plan call them directly and when they did, they were rude to them as well. The customer service rep with Anthem “they are the rudest pharmacy I have ever dealt with”. When I came in the pharmacist kept walking past me and ignoring I was even there until I said something. There’s not enough staff and when the phone rings no sense of urgency. After finally getting the script filled I will call my doctor and have them send any and all scripts elsewhere moving forward. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

As both a patient and former employee of CVS pharmacy, they are a horrible corporation that only cares about money. This CVS pharmacy in particular is horribly staffed. There is no shortage of pharmacy techs, but rather the company is greedy and doesn’t want to hire more staff. They expect 1 pharmacy tech to do the job of 3–working the drive thru, drop off, and pick up. This is super frustrating for the patient experience as well, because you could get trapped in the drive thru for over an hour just trying to pick up your medication. In-store is no different, lines are always down the hall and it seems like everyone picking up experiences the same frustrations about missing medications/not filling them on time. Upper leadership, if you are reading this, please respect your employees and patients and DO BETTER! Stop the penny pinching

I went to the CVS here on 11/8/2019 and they did not have enough people in pharmacy I just wanted to get my cholesterol medicine and leave well there was a long wait they wouldnt give me my medicine everyone had to wait on a families prescription to be filled instead of taking the other people so the line could go down so I left after waiting 20min and never made it to the register 3 people was working behind the counter 1 filling a order 1 waiting on the family prescriptions and 1 further back SMH!

Last night (9/5/20), after 9pm, the pharmacy staff was so helpful and accommodating! They delivered my wife’s emergency refill supply of Metformin, as she had run out, over the weekend, while her blood sugar had risen to a dangerous level. Kudos to their professionalism and sense of urgency (less than a few minutes) to quickly supply our needs! We hope to frequent this store more regularly now. Least we can do...patronize excellent quality service.

Wishing i could give NO STARSThe pharmacist and pharmacy staff is horrible here. I have never been to this CVS and recieved good service. The worse was yesterday 12.10 when i reached out by phone. I called at 5 pm regarding my prescription being ready.. after sitting on an unanswered call for over 40 mins was told to come by at 8pm. I arrived at 9pm for my prescription to still not be ready and then to be sent to another store to pay out of pocket for what they promised would be there available and ready. I paid out of pocket for a prescription that will not be reimbursed yet the pharmacist looked me in the eye and told me otherwise.Such a liar and i am very upset. I have been going to this pharmacy since 2013. Its always been like part of the family. The employees have always tried to be helpful and friendly. Pharmacy personnel are, for the most part, friendly and professional. The store opened 24 hours to accommodate for new traffic patterns caused by widening of Rte 1, and the pharmacy became crowded with people filling prescriptions. This meant longer waits and grumpy sick people. The overworked staff is still friendly and professional. Hopefully new reduced hours will help to alleviate this ....this store has continue to thrive regardless of the obstacles thrown at it. Lost alot of parking spaces due to road construction that personally I dont see much improvement in traffic.

I’m not one to review often, but after last night it seemed necessary. I was told my prescriptions would be ready at 2, but I knew with the holiday it would probably take longer so I waited until about 7:45. The line for pick up had at least 10 of us waiting. Once I got to the front, the lady whom I’ve dealt with before informed me it had yet to be filled. Her attitude and “well what am I supposed to do about it” demeanor was so disrespectful. She gave the pharmacist my prescription and she said “maybe 30 minutes, maybe more, I don’t know we’re busy.” Sadly, I was not in a position to wait. From the back, over her shelves, the woman says “So you don’t care about your prescriptions?”Seriously disgusting customer service. I’ve given this place multiple chances. After this fill, I will never return. Do better.

Had to transfer a prescription to this pharmacy from a different CVS. My son was really sick and we needed his medicine fast. The pharmacist was super busy but I had called in advance and she had it ready for me shortly after I arrived. I truly appreciate her taking the time to get his medicine mixed. Ive always been getting my prescriptions filled at this pharmacy. Its almost always super busy. I am considerate for the staff that its a tough job and that it can get hectic when theres a lot of people showing up at every station. But still, that doesnt give them a free pass to be disrespectful and unfriendly. However, theres an employee who I think is new, shes so kind, sweet, respectful, and friendly. I think her name is Natalie. Shes one of the few people working in the medical field who could actually apologize if something goes wrong. I came in two days ago and one of my medications was completely out of stock. What did she do? She apologized to me a couple of times for the inconvenience. I would say that its been a long time coming seeing a friendly employee working at this particular store. Im glad she works there!

Their whole system sucks, I regret going there wasting my time,Mr. Godarzi, if you are reading this, you need to do the following.1. your staff should be changed specially your front desk, person who responds the phone, and the person who is responsible for nurse line and the prescription follow person.....2. dont prescribe a medicine that require pre-authorization, if it does than get your self a 24/hour line that takes care of that, you should learn from other like Potomac Ear Nose and Throat. They answer 24/7 for everything.3. at least be honest to your oat, help people with your business not giving them a hard time for simple and easy things.4. I know you are a good doctor and very talented but you should learn on how to run your clinic (business) take a class on how to train your employees on how to talk to the patients and the customers.

All I can say is I am stuck with CVS, seeing they own Aetna. I have photos of the wrong RX with the bottle label clearly not matching the med prescribed. This stores situation is 100% management neglect and lack of qualified staffing. Most of the time the staff does try to assist as best they can, but anyone would be pushed to their limits with lack of support. Only twice in several years have I felt lack of respect from employees at this store. One even openly accused me of altering an RX, held my prescription from Friday to Monday morning until they could talk to doctor to verify. I wasnt expecting an apology, but a thank you for my patience would have gone a long way. Instead, I felt their disappointment that they didnt catch me with an altered order. That kind of mentality will bring this company down.

Ive never had a bad experience here in the past several years Ive been having my prescriptions filled. The pharmacists are knowledgeable and know me by name and the staff always asks if I have any questions about my medications. Being a 24 hour 7 day a week pharmacy they are extremely busy, especially in the early evening, but I have rarely waited more than a few minutes at most to be waited on.If you are a night owl, fill and pick up your prescriptions during the early morning hours and miss the crowds.

The WORST! I have been using them for years. Between giving me the wrong prescriptions, right prescription with incorrect dosages, the nights where I am waiting for over a half hour in the drive thru. To then have to call from my car to the store to get a manager to help the Pharmacy out. Being stuck between a car infront & a car in back. Pharmacy techs who walk by me in the store reaking of marajuana. Where I am now currently in the drive thru stuck for at least 20 minutes now. If you have a choice go somewhere else for your medications! I will be changing my pharmacy after the holidays. It may not be outside my door & take 20 minutes with traffic to get too, but it will be wroth it in the long run. This place is NOT worth the effort at all

I went to CVS pharmacy on 10-5-2019 the Pharmacist Demelasha was very rude and disrespectful to me as a customer who needed their medication post operative discharge . After i waited for 30 mins i asked for his name he asked for what i told him i need it so I can let headquarters know how rude and disrespectful he was to me. He stated good for you now you are going to wait another 45mins. I said sir im in pain and i was told 30 mins ago that it would be ready within 45 mins . He then called the police on me and refuse to fill my prescription.

You couldn’t run a worse pharmacy if you tried. Wanna call ahead and ask when your prescription will be ready? Good luck having anyone ever answer the phone. Wanna go in person and request something as mundane as 800mg ibuprofen? Ok, that will be an hour wait. But don’t worry, they “will text/call” you when it’s ready. Oh they didn’t call or text you but it’s been 3 hours? I’m sure if you go in it should be ready...NOPE. That’ll be another “15-20 minutes.” What they don’t tell you is that in the eyes of CVS, time is a relative construct, one that the employees can’t be bothered to observe in any meaningful way. You’d think after my 5th experience I would be smart enough to switch my pharmacy with the doctors office, but I’m apparently a huge moron. I don’t know if I’m bad enough to manage CVS pharmacy, but I’m clearly not a smart man.

Night shift guy I believe his name is Muhammed? Tag was smeared couldn’t read fully anyway he gave me someone else’s prescription. Completely wrong medication wrong information wrong everything only thing that was consistent was the quantity. When I went back to get my correct prescription he was being really sketchy and tried to tell me it was my right prescription I guess so he wouldn’t get in trouble? Never had an issue like this here go here all the time. This guy needs to be fired that’s completely unacceptable.

I have been to this location many times due to it being so close to my home. ..but the last few times havent been a great experience and my experience today is why I wont be returning. I came in last night for 2 prescriptions for my daughter and was told that they didnt have everything they needed to mix one of them. ..ok thats frustrating but fine then was told that it would be ready by 9 am this morning. ...getting off at 2 I was there by 2:40 and waited in the drive thru for 30 more minutes only to be told at first they dont have it. ..I was still quite patient. ...asking her to please look again. ..finally she found it in the system but it wasnt ready and they needed to call the doctor for more directions. ..but hadnt done that and needed the number when the phone number is on the stinking prescription! And nobody called me or anything! But yet it will be ready by 9 am!worst customer experience Ive ever had!

They lost my medication. They found the medication printout for my medicine but no medicine could be located to match the printout. Im not suprised though, its horribly disorganized and I think its because theyre overworked at this location. Im not pleased that another medication is on back order and I was never notified about it being on backorder and now Im out of a very important medication that I cant just stop taking or it causes withdrawal symptoms. I am not pleased with this location at all. Ive had a very negative experience so far. Im new to Virginia, I just relocated to the area from Utah and the CVS I used in Utah NEVER had these kind of issues.

I went to drop off a prescription my dentist gave me. When I approached I told the pharmacist that I didnt have my prescription card she would need to look me up. At that moment her attitude shifted and she snatched my prescription she said this is your prescription spell your name. It looks like the doctors name. I spelled my name (LUCIANIA) and she began typing she looked up and said do you know how to take this prescription I hesitated because I was confused by her question as all prescriptions come with instructions so I said yes and then I said no thinking maybe there is something important she may need to tell me. She proceeds to say you take two when you go to get your procedure and three a day after the appointment. I disagreed I said, that is not what my dentist explained to me, Ill confirm the instructions with my dentist. She said its right here on the prescription I said let me see. I read it and it stated 2 before appointment and TID. I asked what does TID mean as I handed her back the prescription she said three a day. She turns to me in a loud rude tone and says you take two before appointment for your infection and you take three a day after your appoint to further prevent the infection you have. At that point I felt as small as possible because she had just embarrassed me in front of a very busy store. I dropped my head for a moment then I looked up and said to her like I said I will discuss the instruction with my doctor. I turned and walked away in shame, the pharmacy area was really busy and others were in line behind me. I suffer from social anxiety so I felt like dying. I called back into the store once I reached my car to get the associates name and she answered the phone when she learned I was planning to report her for violating my hippa privacy rights she stated how do you know it was me

A WARNING to all potential pharmacy customers.If I could give this less than a single star then I would. All through the night weve been experiencing issues with this location. As its the only one that has a supposedly open pharmacy through the night, its something we decided we needed to. My mother sprained her ankle and needed medication. Unfortunately the entire system was down for hours over the evening. When reached for further assistance several times over the phone was completely ignored. When it was finally answered, the people on the other line were entirely dismissive and couldnt even answer simple questions on whether we could actually have the prescriptions filled. They also continuously hung the phone up on us as they became impatient with people trying to gain questions from them.The store has become notoriously known as one with issues with its pharmacy. The worst part, is that people have to be sent there after the rest of the stores close down.Do NOT visit this store location for its pharmacy. use. The front end of the store is ran well enough by its staff. However, the pharmacy is abysmal in every way possible. It certainly doesnt deserve half of the business it gets, which is all really due to location more than anything else.

The pharmacy is absolutely unprofessional. Just a glance behind the counter and you can see how disorganized everything is. Ive been going to this same one to pick up medication for a family member and in all the times Ive picked up, I have never received a smile nor just general kindness. I understand working all day long is tiresome, but there is no need to be rude. Their customer service is lousy. And whenever they say a prescription will be ready at a certain time, it never is ready at the time given. My medication was supposed to be ready at 6pm and when I arrived at 6:15pm I ended up waiting for almost half an hour. Maybe thats not such a big deal, but dont say something will be ready at a certain time if its not going to be.

I would give this pharmacy 2 stars just because of how messy and chaotic it is. I went last saturday at NOON to fill some prescriptions for my son and it was crazy. I had to wait 1 hour and a half to get them filled. At a busy day and at time like that, there was only one technician and one pharmacist. The technician Natali seemed to be doing all the job. I could literally see her running from every window in the pharmacy so she can help all customers. I appreciated her help very much. The pharmacist on duty, who is asian i presume, was of no help at all. Good thing I was patient because I can put myself in her place, but unfortunately some people seemed pissed and even yelled at her. Management should definitely hire more people. This is getting out of hand. Specially when its a busy pharmacy in a very busy location.

I hate coming here. Every time I come to pick up meds or drop off most of them seem like they have an attitude and acts as if Im inconveniencing them. They are very rude. The wait time takes forever and dont waste your time calling because youll wait for someone to answer for forever. Poor customer service. Call in script and was told to wait 2 hours to pick up. When I arrived no acknowledgement of even my presence. Given they where busy, but how hard is it to say hello or one moment. Then come to find out the script was not transfered and was only c requested a few minutes before my arrival. Then of coarse I was schuffled about and there was no attempt to reconfirm until O became unpleasant and low and behold they where able to get verofication. Still had a long wait even once it was confirmed.WAY UNDERSTAFFED for business. Not very proffesional attire . Shelves are poorly maintained Out of Stocks everywhere. Ive run retail my entire life and the shelves in areas looked as if the store was preparing to close.

Horrible service. When I handed the pharmacist my prescription he said they did not have my medicine. Usually they look on the computer and verify before just coming out and saying they dont have it. Secondly, he did not offer to check around at other local CVS pharmacies to see if they had it. It was not like he was busy or anything and could not help me further.

Unlike the closest Walgrens that showed their pharmacy open 24x7 (but closed at 10pm), this CVS Pharmacy was open (1 star for that.)Mission was to locate a vial of NPH insulin and U-100 syringes for my dog. NPH insulin is available from Walmart for around $30. I figured the cost would be double ($60) from this closer CVS based on CVS markups. Syringes can be purchased elsewhere for $12 - $30/ per 100. CVS asked if I (my dog) had a health insurance card. No.CVS wanted $158 for the insulin and $30 for the (unsealed) box of syringes. I said no thanks on the insulin...and they would not sell me the syringes without the insulin. (No stars). Neither (NPH insulin or syringes) require a prescription in Virginia so I do not know the legality of their refusal to sell...but we are in Virginia and the sit is/was not worth arguing about. CVS...our relationship came to an abrupt end today. You are added to my really bad Karma list, alongside GEICO, Liberty Mutual and Comcast. Thanks much and I wish you the best.

Update 7/14 - This place has gone down hill big time. The composition of the area has changed drastically and the CVS has as well for the worse. The people are now unresponsive and unhelpful. The prices are now high as well. This often happens when a neighborhood goes down hill since the population cannot comparison shop. I have switched all of my prescriptions to Walgreens in Lorton where I found my insulin to be 20% (yes 20%!!) cheaper. There is also a new Walgreens on Route 1 down from CVS. I have been in there and it looks nice but I have no experience beyond that.I have used this pharmacy for about ten years. I have used it for prescriptions as well as for various items that a pharmacy carries. I have found the staff to be helpful when asked and not intrusive otherwise. The pharmacy staff has very little turnover and I have found them to be quite pleasant. It is a very busy pharmacy so there is little time for chit chat but the prescriptions are handled professionally and quickly. This is my favorite pharmacy in the Woodbridge and Lorton area.
