I generally like this store and the collection of clothes and miscellaneous items they have but I cant believe they stopped testing their gaming systems (Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wiis). They have like 15 systems just sitting out priced decently but when I asked a worker if they had been tested, they said no and said management recently stopped allowing it. Who in their right mind would buy something that could easily be broken? What if I bought a system and brought it home to my kid and we plugged it in and it didnt work. Cmon B-thrifty you can do better!!My rating will change when this policy is reviewed.

I go thrifting A LOT and have done so for years in various states.B-Thrifty is solid for the most part. Prices tend to be a little higher than what I’d expect but I usually find one or two good gems (also most thrift stores have seen increases in their prices with thrifting becoming more and more popular to fast fashion alternatives).They do have various days where they do color sales as well as half off on federal holidays. I’ve never had an issue getting a discount if there was one that applied to my purchases.The layout is a little confusing but not difficult to navigate. Housewares are on the far left, the front middle and front right women’s with men’s being behind it and the far right is your accessories wall.Quality of items varies. I don’t mind the prices as when I do find something nice, it’s either a good brand/good vintage and in good or excellent condition. Men’s is always tough when it comes to thrifting but the tops here are good, as well as jackets (which are definitely expensive but for brands like Columbia and Northface you’re still getting a steep discount so it’s all relative if you know what you’re looking at/for). They also have a lot of men’s shoes though I’ve never had any luck with sizing.Women’s is quite extensive but I haven’t spent much time in there. Women’s sweaters however have a lot of good items, and same for their jackets.Housewares is a toss up. You might find some gems but overall it seems VERY overpriced for what they have.Customer service is fine. I’ve found some amazing finds at other places with truly awful service, so that’s not always the best judgment for a thrift shop. That being said, a lot of the workers seem to be young and this is probably just a job for them so the service is usually lackluster but never any issues and the store isn’t a mess so someone’s job is being done clearly.All in all, don’t go expecting a huge haul, but definitely worth a visit and you will most likely walk away with at least one or two special items.

OK store. Has both the used and brand new section. On the thrifty side some items seem items gentled used but others too old. On the non-thrifty side, there are a variety of store. Masks and social distancing enforced. What I liked it was not crowded.

I dont know why people are saying it was dirty. It was really clean when I went. Everything was very organized and they took good COVID-19 precautions, like sanitizing the checkout area after every transaction. Also the prices were good, like the same as most thrift stores. The staff was nice.

Horrible!!! Though on Sundays they offer %50.00, their prices on items were catastrophically high. You and I and just about everybody else would be better off shopping at Walmart.

I used to like B-Thrifty A LOT. Its disappointing since COVID-19 hit because they took away the 50% off for members on Sundays & Mondays especially since customers need the 50% off more now than before COVID-19 since customers have less money. Some prices are too high especially when they get donations for free. Ive seen used water bottles at B-Thrifty for $14.99, wallets for 7.99 or higher & a small clinique makeup bag for $39.99. Some of these items can be bought BRAND NEW for the same prices. I understand that the merchandise needs to be marked a little higher especially during a 50% off sale so B-Thrifty can make money to pay employees & pay rent, etc but some prices are ridiculous. I understand that they need to arrange the clothes according to the seasons but its frustrating when they rearrange the clothes I get used to the layout being one way but after they rearrange the clothes I find it very hard to find anything especially certain pants that I like to wear & forget about finding womens sweatpants. 6/19/21 UPDATE: B-Thrifty started doing 50% off again but in May 2021 B-Thrifty started 50% off ONLY on Sundays. I THINK they only have 50% off Sunday & Monday when its a holiday. B-Thrifty does 50% off VERY sporadically now. The last time that they had a 50% off sale was 6/6/21. 10/9/21 UPDATE: B-Thrifty has totally rearranged their store so its even harder to find stuff. The 1st time that I shopped at B-Thrifty (about 2 weeks ago) after they rearranged the store I couldnt find anything plus it was hard to shop b/c the employees had shopping carts in the way. I know they have to do their job but there were way too many carts in the way.

OMG! WHATCH THEM!!! They scan clothes twice, forget to remove items that you put back (prior to purchasing), and then when you try to bring an item back to exchange an item it miraculously doesnt appear / match whats on your receipt. I came in on Sunday, 15 Aug 21, and they were extremely busy. I didnt look at my receipt before I left and end it shows that one item was listed twice and then another item wasnt rang up at all. I only found out when I tried to return that item - which I hadnt noticed wasnt on the receipt - only to find out that she charged me twice for the same item. So I couldnt return an item that I purchased and another item the manager said had the wrong staples - I wouldnt know about staples - she said they check for staples when checking out. I have NEVER seen anybody check the staples. They just pile the clothes up and scan scan scan scan scan scan scan... No checking staples. Although I didnt spend a whole lot of money because it was 50% off what I did spend is MY hard earned money. If I do shop here again they are going to ring up each item print me a receipt and Im going to match the receipt before I leave the store - they arent doing this to me again.

So I am at this store 2 to 3 times a week. I love it! However, the energy is different now. Its not happy, it isnt as warm and inviting as it once was! You seem to have either lost or moved your greatest asset...Dion! Where is he? Get him back!!! He was the bright shining light that kept customers and coworkers happy during the busy and extremely chaotic days! Youve truly lost a star!

Worst thrift store ive been so far. the place is never clean, no smiles, no meet and greet, i always see new faces which tells me their management is horrible. any other thrift store is better in the woodbridge area. if i can give a 0 i would.

Always a disappointment, perhaps the worst thrift shop in the DC suburbs in terms of quality and variety. More of an overpriced and disorganized jumble sale. The offerings are remarkably sparse in kitchenware and crockery, but somehow an overabundance in mismatched pieces of silver plate and kitsch brass. Do not expect to find antiques, framed artworks are hung 10 high (well out of reach), and books are stuffed in a remote corner. Perhaps the clothes are better, but I havent the patience. Poor low-wattage lighting.

This placed LOOKED like a hidden gem and was huge. But someone was definitely smoking a cigarette inside and I had to leave immediately as I was beginning to have an asthma attack. You’ll probably find some great stuff here if you smoke and that doesn’t bother you. If you don’t, expect everything inside to smell like smoke. Gross!

I don’t really understand the negative comments. Sure, it’s hard to find an English speaker. So what, the staff is super friendly. And they don’t have a dressing room- bring a tape measure, they have a generous return policy. If you join their free club you get notified about 50% off sales ALL THE TIME. I can get 3 pair of jeans for $5. I have yet to explore the rest of the market but it looks awesome. I love this place, it’s my favorite thrift store ever!

Not at all a thrift store… More like imagine buying used stuff on eBay at a physical store… Everything is way overpriced. Just way overpriced. Don’t bother stopping in it’s a waste of time. Hit the Salvation Army across the street or maybe a goodwill.

Its a big and bit dirty thrift store, with a lot of different stuff. Prices vary, but I believe they have 50% off on some label colors every day, so its worth a look. You will find furniture too!

There seems to be a lot of good stuff here, but the main reason Im not satisfied with this place is that there isnt a fitting room available. Its hard to tell what fits when you cant try it on. The layout of the store is also a little confusing and the employees rush around on segways and you dont know when theyre going to come up behind you. However, they do have frequent sales and discounts, which is nice.

I love this place. The place has everything so I ended up getting lamps. The best part was the customer service, the cashier suggested that I plug the lamps in first before buying to make sure they worked, was incredibly helpful, warm, and friendly. Thanks Sylvia!

BThrifty is a a very large thrift store. You should be able to find something you like her. The prices are reasonable and there is something for everyone so go check them out. There are also vendors selling some nice stuff on the other side of the store.

They have a nice selection of clothes and low prices to boot. They have sales on certain days as well as normally discounted items. They also offer a good selection of jewelry and electronics. There are also booths where you can find novelty items as well as items you might find sold at a flea market or trade show booth.

Just like any retail store, customer service depends on who you happen to talk to, but if youre conscious of that and talk to someone who doesnt look exhausted, Ive found you can get great service. Their selection is big enough that if youre in a hurry, youll be disappointed, but if you allocate a an hour or more to your visit, youre bound to find something youll fall in love with. They dont have a normal thrift selection, they also have a pretty solid amount of brand and designer names at AMAZING prices. I got Nike airmax zooms for 25$, Ralph Lauren sweater for 99.99$, and a Wilson tennis windbreaker for 8$. Highly recommend this store!

This is the best thrift store Ive shopped at and I make a habit of thrift store hunting. They have every category of whatever youre looking for. Ive never encountered any rudeness whatsoever. Theyre organized and reasonably priced. They havent forgotten that theyre a thrift store when It comes to their prices. I have never experienced any foul odors whatsoever.

I must rescind my earlier comments. Such was actually applicable to another location. I apologize and thank the owner for the response to my mistaken comments.However, from my previous actual experience at B- thrifty near Food Lion on Route 1, i still find i will not return. The applicable discounts only apply if you are a member. After looking over three application for such, I refuse to share such intimate information about myself when I have no details regarding who will have access to such information. And i must agree with some other reviewers - the place was dirty and unkempt. So i would be hesitant to buy clothing or stuffed animal items here. There was definitely a distinct, putrid smell. I wish i had taken a picture, but there was actually a smuckers jelly jar for sale within the glassware. Wow. Thankfully, the complex has been renovated. So a big help. But sadly, the patrons attracted here leave much to be desired. I clung to my purse from entrance to the return to my car. Only desperation or boredom would make me return.

It is very clean and organized compare to other second hand stores. I always find new items at very good price. I like to take advantage of their coupons days. I strongly recommend this store.

Lots of stuff to look through. Decently organized. Staff is friendly. Prices are all over the place though. Bargains in clothes but furniture is ridiculously overpriced. Like off the chain nuts pricing. No dressing rooms here which baffles me since they have the space to put them in and tons to try. Walked away from a full cart of clothes tonight when I realized I cant try them on. Seriously? Even the lady that works there said she thinks its stupid not to have dressing rooms. Wear tights and a tank when you go in so you can try on in the aisles.

B-thrifty is the equilivent of mashing together a good will and a flea market. Half the warehouse are vendors who rent spots, and the other half is good will or garbage sifting. Now, dont take that last statement too harshly. Good will type things are great! I frequent there whenever I can. But, there is a lot of garbage here. As the saying goes, one mans trash is another mans treasure. Its worth a look if youre in the area. I walked out empty handed, but you might not.

Honestly one of my favorite Woodridge area thrift stores, prices can vary between fantastic and outrageous (go to Craigslist or another store for furniture). Clothing and electronics and generally good deals however.

There are several other thrift stores with better pricing, recently I’ve been going to 2nd Ave. and they generally have fluctuating prices that match the item it’s attached to. This place is insanely unorganized and disgusting and over charges for things. On the majority of things, we are items overstock from older stores and they are priced just as they were retell however long ago they were sold,So if you’re looking at an old light fixture from the 80s but it’s still in its box and it was originally 4999 it will continue to be 4999

They have a wide selection of products, sometimes you may find something new, however I don’t like their return policy, (no return no exchange )only store credit on clothes within a week. so you better test or try your clothes or electronics while you are in the store.if you don’t then I wish you a good luck.

The have LOTS of stuff...many people have said its over price and I agree with them. The have many of the same items instock which means is an indicator of being over priced and not getting sold. Having to sign up to be a member to get a discount and not get ripped off for things that get donated? Unreal...How about price things properly to encourage people to come out and look for deals.

Average store... its just not clean enough! I can barley breathe on the used clothing/items side of the store!! Old musty and smelly items! However the other outlets are much better! Its like a mini mall in there.

Huge Store compare it to Unique on Gallows road. This one has tons and tons of clothes. Toy section isnt usually marked with prices. In all this is a good place to go for some quality finds.

One of the most expensive thrift store ever. Their Prices is far above original prices . Even if they do 50% discount. On three occasion I bought Swiss Tech Mens Puffer Jacket, which was $29.99 only to find out it cost $24.88 on the internet. I had bought, flip flop $24 Adidas only to find that they were much more expensive in the store and cheaper if I ordered it. I have made several complains they dont seem to care.

I saw this store on my way home and decided to stop by and Im glad I did, its a pretty big thrift store with all sorts of stuff you can fine. The cashier that checked me out was Flor, very nice girl, excellent customer service! Made sure to inform me of their daily specials and benefits of being a BIP memeber!

The store is filthy, everything extremely over priced. I was really hoping to like this place, but coming here was a complete waiste of my time. UNIQUE in fairfax, is the best thrift store hands downs. I won’t be returning to Bthrifty.

Lies, lies, lies. They say you can return, but its a lie. You only get store credit. No dressing rooms! Stuff is junky and if its nice its priced too high for a thrift store. Dont bother. I recommend 2nd Village by Lowes where they have several dressing rooms, quality is much better and people are nice.
