I’ve been taking my truck here for regular servicing for a couple years now and most recently had a terrible experience. Truck went in for a oil change and came out with an exhaust leak. Good work guys. Won’t be going back anymore.

Took in my wifes 2016 Tahoe for regular maintenance. Rich let me know of other services that needed to be done. They were able to do those as well on a Saturday! Quick service as usual!
Went in for a truck alignment and oil change. I left the dealership after 4 and half hours, truck pulled to the right bad. Called next day and had to go take it back in on a Saturday due to my work schedule. Frank was the tech and set me up with Richard, both made sure i was happy. It wasn’t until i left the dealership on that Saturday that the oil change sticker wasn’t updated as it should. I honestly gave up worrying about the sticker, that’s what the service sheet could tell me. Just frustrating that small attention to details with proper alignment and oil changes can’t occur correctly. Really glad Frank and Richard could Atleast get my alignment corrected bit beginning to question the quality of work that they can’t control.
Id been dealing with the alignment being off in my truck for several months. Id even taken it in (other places) multiple times with no resolution. Either nothing was wrong or my request to have it looked at was forgotten in the process. I travel a lot and recalled having a great experience with Woodland Motors in the past so I decided to bring it here for its regular maintenance/oil service and requested the alignment be looked at in the process. Im so glad I did as my truck hasnt felt this good in months. I honestly wanted to cry that FINALLY itd been dealt with and fixed. Finding reliable vehicle maintenance is difficult, especially when youre a female because most people either discount you or think you dont know what youre talking about. I always feel valued and respected at Woodland Motors and highly recommend them. Thank you.
Poor customer service. Not responsive after our purchase. Promised delivery of truck on 2/24 or sooner. Now a week later stating it will be another week. Offering no compensation besides a few accessories. Really unhappy with the lack of communication. After request of Manager Corey, we spoke, and he offered no solution. He put blame on the shipping company, and his sales reps for making false promises. Peter has been trying to help smooth things over, but it appears the higher management is standing in his way.

2017 Volt with a salvaged title. Informed Bob before bringing the vehicle out about salvaged title and HMI needed to be replaced. Bob, had a Volt specialist look at vehicle and confirm HMI replacement. History also showed salvaged title, but vehicle had two recalls that needed servicing. Bob ordered HMI and scheduled installation. A week passes and the day the HMI is received Bod calls me to say the service manager will not install/program but he cannot guaranty successful programming due to salvaged title attached to VIN. While I understand this, I think how it was handled and separately the policy is poor and unprofessional. Your dealership is willing to work on things they deem ok but other stuff which has nothing to do with a salvaged title. Vehicle was issued salvaged title due to being sold at an auction with door damage. While I understand the salvaged title issue, if your dealership will service and attend the recalls to include normal service intervals, they should install/program the HMI and be willing to see the situation to the end or as far as possible with the customer. Again, did not expect a perfect resolution however with Bob and more so your service manager my experience was poor to say the least! I know the poor performance and experience with your dealership will show in this survey but will go unnoticed proving customers negative experiences are too easy to ignore. It would be nice for a call or contact from someone above your service department but it shows lack of responsibility and accountability in your company. Professionalism will always prevent poor responsibility and accountability to include actions speak louder than words. Unless its an oil change or something so simple Jiffy Lube can do, I do not expect to visit your dealership again.

We bought a car on Monday 3/22, a brand new 2021 Chevrolet Bolt. Didnt drive it much until Thursday and found out air conditioning was not working while taking the car for detailing. So frustrating as it is brand new and you would think dealer would have checked everyone before delivery. They made us wait about an hour until telling us the there is a lead and compressor was bad, and they had to replace it. We went to speak to management and they were completely rude, and unprofessional and unapologetic. GM Micahs response was it happens and thats why there is warranty, basically saying it is what it is. When we asked about how come they did not find the issue during their inception, there was no issues found then. With that the guy sitting next him, think his name was Art, asked us to leave.Well I am never going back there, and if you are buying car from them double and triple check everything, yes for New cars, or else be prepared to have warranty service done right away,

So I was in the market for a 2019 Sierra to pull my new boat and had visited pretty much every dealership in the Sacramento area. Being that it was late in the model year, it was getting harder and harder to find one I was interested in (i.e. color and features). I eventually found one at another dealership for a really good price, but it was bought out from under me literally minutes before my wife and I could get to the dealership with check in hand. In fact, we watched it leave the lot! Somewhat dejected, I hit the web again and thought hey, what about checking in Woodland? Theres a lot of farmers and ranchers out that way so they ought to have a lot of trucks. So I found Woodland Motors website and lo and behold, there was the same exact truck I was going to buy at the other dealer. I contacted Woodland Motors through their website and received a call back from Josh Lohman within minutes. I explained to Josh that I had just missed out on a Sierra at the other dealership, and he told me they could pretty much match the deal I had on the other truck. Also, Josh mentioned that if we were Costco executive members (we are), we would get a $700 gift card as well. This actually made the cost of the vehicle LESS than the one we had missed out on. SOLD! We pretty much handled everything over the phone and by text, and my son and I went to the dealership the following afternoon. We were literally in and out with the new rig in UNDER AN HOUR! While we we there, I mentioned to Josh that I had bought a Tracker bass boat last June, and he said the owner of Woodland Motors also owned West Coast Boat Center, which was where I bought my boat! I had a similarly excellent experience there. Long story short, this was, BY FAR, the best vehicle-buying experience Ive ever had. Judging by the other reviews on Google (a 4.3 rating with 160 reviews), I am not alone in my appreciation. THANKS JOSH AND EVERYONE AT WOODLAND MOTORS!!!
Robert Simpson was friendly and provided excellent communication and information about the car I wanted. The buying process was relaxed and easy, despite having two kids with me! Its a shame we have been doing business with them for over 15 years. Recently went in to purchase a 2020 Suburban was the worst customer experience of ever purchasing a vehicle. Will never again give our family business to them still gave them a chance to sort of redeem themselves and purchased over $400.00 of accessories and simply asked if they could install them for free when it’s just simply double sided tape to put over the original part lol. But they said they couldn’t. Service was so terrible even a simple cup of water was to much to go out of their way.
Woodland Motors is my favorite spot for auto work. They have serviced my Honda Pilot twice and my Volkswagen Passat once. I have zero complaints and the prices were great. Was interested in buying a car from them, but they are not out of state buyer friendly. Told me I would have to ship the car to Reno, NV then do paperwork with a notary. Ive purchased many cars out of state, but have never heard of this before. Too many hoops to jump through.
