The guys at the shop are nice.. did a good job on my heater.. just dont ask them to work on electrical items. I wish they would have just told me no.. mine is worse than when it went in. 1978 ford bronco.
Guys, Jason and his crew are the one-stop-shop for your classic car. They have treated my 66 Mustang really well. Car runs much better now and the cost was really fair for the amount of work they put in. I highly recommend this shop. Services performed for me: Disc brake conversion, electrical repairs, fog light installations, general small mechanical internal stuff that were not working, new wheels, new electronic ignition, engine and carburetor tune up, and more and more. They are the ones Ill always go back to (as classics will always require some maintenance, right?)
Excellent service, communication and attention to detail. Highly recommend. Will be referring my friends and family.
First off let me start by saying these guys are automotive rock stars, period. Trustworthy, honest, reliable and reasonably priced. They dont sell you on stuff you dont need and in fact they find ways to save you money. Classic cars need to be done right, and these guys do it right. No short cuts or hacks.Phil the owner and his two master mechanics, Ted and Guy, are of the highest caliber professionals for their craft. They did quite a bit of work on my 66 Mustang. Installed a power rack and pinion steering system, hydro-boost power brakes, window glass, door panels, electrical work, water pump, rear axle seals, engine rear main seal, front grill, etc. All kinds of stuff in all kinds of places. Every job was completed with the highest level of quality and craftsmanship. In a word, PERFECT! And I am a very picky person, especially when it comes to my cars.If youve got a classic car that you truly care about, get your work done at OFI. Youll sleep sound knowing the work is getting done right.Happy motoring!Mike
Best body shop/restoration company around. Great service and care taken with my truck. Thanks Rick and the rest of the team
I have a 1967 mustang coupe. Phil and Ted replaced my engine from a 289 to a 351 and installed a/c, new carpet and repaired all of my crappy home fix it repairs. The guys at OFI keep me informed and never once made me feel uncomfortable having my car there.I would and do recommend OFI to all of my friends. They have earned my trust and I will be a customer for life.
One of the frustrating aspects to google reviews can be the inability of the business owner to respond when these reviews are inaccurate and potentially misleading. Georgia Classics is a shop built on integrity, experience and detail. A client can expect, upon arrival, to construct in partnership a written agreement of services we will work to provide along with a realistic estimate of cost. Once a car is complete a full review of the invoice is paired to the scope of work and does not leave the shop till a client is satisfied. Validation of client satisfaction is when they drive the car away. One review in particular embodies why so many shops are getting out of this industry. It centers around expectations. When a client brings us a 50 year old car that has been outside and not run for years we do what can be reasonably done. Unless your classic has been garaged and well cared for its whole life, things will go wrong. A rusty 50 year old truck for instance will not respond the same as a 5 year old truck. If a client wants perfection thats called a restoration - appropriate compensation and all new parts. If you want you vehicle to run, drive, take gear and have reliability we can do this too but its up to the owner to be responsible to some degree with what they own. To many people own these classics and dont spend the time completely understanding how and what makes them work. Technology then is nothing like todays technology. Owners may also have trouble understanding that parts are not always on the shelf for these classics. It takes time and patience to do things right. You have to learn your vehicle .. not the other way around. For anyone who wants to leave a review support your comments accurately and fairly. Coherent, well constructed sentences will also help your case! LOL
Hello I have a 1965 Chevrolet C10 truck I took to Jason and his crew I I inherited the truck a friend of 30 years it was important to me to get the truck right Very disappointing Jason who seemed eager to do the job I let him do the job half the stuff we agreed on did not get fixed taken the truck back 4 times now They do not know nothing about electrical I dont even think they know much about mechanics The day he told me my truck was ready the The driver side Windshield wipers sell off On my way to work I had to crawl underneath the truck and hook up own lights up after paying them I get a bunch of excuses about it B in an old truck He knew that when I brought it in Thats what the evaluations for Brand new windshield leak They tell me my choke was it up its not its rolled up underneath the dash This is my fault too for trusting someone If you do business with this man get a list dont give him all the money up front i idid When you go to pick your car up have your list with you go over your list before you pay in the rest your money the work he did a does not want to fix I hope Ive helped to someone by reading this post and keep them from being in the position like me an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure
If you’re looking for an honest and genuine business person, give Jason the opportunity to do you right! They go above and beyond service!
Price was fair for all the work performed. Good shop to do business with
Excellent service and very reasonably priced!
They’ve taken care of my 49 Roadmaster for years, they show great admiration for what they do and the cars they work on.
Cant thank Rick enough. Paint and body work. What a talented guy!
When I read someones review calling OFI Classics a hack, I thought, thats quite untrue.Ive wanted a 1956 Thunderbird since I was 9 years old, so I was really jazzed when I found one I could afford on eBay. It was a nice, rust free car. The same person had owned it for 20 years. I wanted a professsional evaluation of the car to establish a baseline for future work, so I contacted Phil OBrien at OFI Classic Cars. I had seen a number of classic Thunderbirds from concours quality to weekend drivers. I finally decided to do a cosmetic restoration, since I wanted a car that my wife and I could enjoy driving on weekends and during the summer months. It took more than two than two months to complete all the work. I put in a completely new interior with correct 1956 embossments, a new exhaust system, radial wide whitewall tires, new windshield and door glass, rechromed several exterior pieces, pulled and painted the engine and engine compartment, new headliner in the hardtop and generally took a good car to the next level. While all of this was taking place, I received weekly e-mail updates from Phil together with photos showing exactly what was being done to the car. Moreover, I was provided detailed information about what work was needed before it was performed. The project went well beyond what I first intended and the expenses mounted. Still, Phil tempered my enthusiasm and suggested ways to save money.Efficiency accompanied by courtesy is a rare combination in todays business world. The courtesy extended to me by OFI during my restoration was impressive because of its rarity.Phil OBrien and his great staff provided detailed explanations and personal assistance when needed.Such concern for the customer is refreshing and should become more widespread. Their work is first-rate and the quality of their people will insure their continued success. Keep it up.Jerry DraytonPh
I wish I could have fixed the other unit for you guys
