Professional. The very personable woman who helped me find my headlamp for my van was communicative and funny. The person who picked my headlamp has great taste! I am blessed to have found them not to mention the lamp. I have been looking for a clean used one for over 3 years!!! Remakes are $125 online. I saved over 80 bucks! Drove 30 minutes ... arrived at 4:21 pm. I was informed it was to late for me to check out the car due to it getting dark soon...I would not be coming back as it was a very bad excuse.

Very disappointed. I purchased a used engine, and specifically asked them to make sure it turned over before I drove for 1.5 hours to pick it up. They say they confirmed it turned over, and when I picked it up I was able to move the crank pulley by hand and thought it was good. I should have tried to turn it over completely. When I got it on the engine stand and was getting ready to check compression, I was unable to get the engine to rotate 360 degrees, it stopped short. My plan was to use only the block and rotating assembly for my project, the heads and intake were to be replaced, so I disassembled further thinking it was only a valve that was stuck (as happened on the last engine I was working with). After removal of the heads, I found this, a heavily rusted cylinder, it was binding on the rust built up, even with the heads removed it would not turn over.Communication was slow, emails and phone calls always required a day or two to be answered, and I sent photos as requested. I called and spoke to them, but we never reached an agreement no how this could be settled, they never made any sort of offer. They just lean on the if you take it apart you own it. I get that, but this engine was never going to run again without major work, regardless of its state of assembly. I wasnt asking them to warranty the rebuilt engine, only that they sold parts that werent even usable. They didnt check that it turned over fully as I asked. I was able to use the crankshaft, camshaft and connecting rods, the rest was scrap metal.I asked for an adjustment, telling them what parts were useful to me so they could base an offer on what I was actually getting out of the sale, leaving it open to offer me something, and they stopped replying. I wont be going back there again, dont recommend. I tried hard to work with them on a solution but realize now it was never going to happen.

Not good... Paid for bumper assembly, get there just the cover no steel bumper, after insisting it was welded they ended up asking how to do it.. then the headlight assembly they sold was also broken and they showed it was broken then still charged full price.. not how i would do my business

The lady is extremely rude. Bought a AC compressor for my grandmothers car. Didnt work and when I tried too return it because I used AC manifolds and a vacuum but put The cans threw the manifold its not under warranty?? She said the cans wreck the compressor. Which I never heard of and been doing it this way for year. Any way to steal $60 from a 93 yr old women.

Great auto salvage

A rarity among salvage yards. Friendly and willing to help. I needed some oddball parts for an oddball car and they got it done. Not only that, they grabbed all of the fiddly hardware necessary for re-installation in another vehicle. I will be going back. Thanks guys.

People are rude, just want your money, takes forever to get a part of they have to pull it. Been around this place over 20 years and still the same reputation they had wen I was younger.

I went to Woonsocket Auto Salvage in Woonsocket, RI to find a rear driver’s door in silver to replace one on my 2001 Mercury Sable Wagon which was badly crushed when a coworker backed into it with his SUV. The owner of Woonsocket Auto Salvage brought me onto their enormous property and showed me a perfect match for the door I needed. He brought me back to their building, I paid for the door and within 15 minutes he brought the replacement door to my car. He was patient as I positioned the door with enough cushioning to travel well inside my car. The owner was a complete gentleman and professional. I could not have asked for more. If I need more replacement used auto parts, Woonsocket Auto Salvage will be my first choice!

Not the nicest people around with ridiculously antiquated policies. Inquire about their return policy prior to purchase. In addition make certain that you have the correct part prior to purchase to avoid above mentioned return policy.

The woman that works there has a terrible attitude. If shes so miserable working there just quit your job. Everyone leaves reviews about her being rude. Luckily I had the guy that pull parts handle my purchase hes great. That woman got to go shes very rude for no reason.

I was searching the entire country for a AC mounting bracket for a 1998 Camaro. Every place I called just said we dont have it and hung up. Jim took the time to search and called me back with 2 local yards that might have the part. Out of at least 50 calls I made he was the only one who offered to help me. This tells you all you need to know about this business. I will call there first from now on.

One of those places you can tell is run by scum of the earth. Bought a set of tires used and the guy told me they were under warranty for 30 days. Ended up not needing them and brought them back the SAME DAY (hadnt even touched them) to return them and the guy tells me he didnt know there was no warranty on the tires after speaking with his manager and that they couldnt do anything and wont give me my money back. Great way to treat customers. These people are sneaky liars and gross. Buyers beware!!!!

A very old yard, been around a long time! They recently have been investing a lot of time and energy into helping customers! They have a lot of hard to find cars from the 80s and early 90s that a lot of other yards junk.

Terrible customer service kind of hard to get what you want. The woman behind the counter is a waste of time dont take her serious someone knowledgeable will eventually come...cheap used batterys just bring your own tester they will NOT refund regardless if you just walked out the door
