Ive typically never had much of a problem with this pharmacy however this evening I didnt receive a text message that my prescription was ready for pick up until about 7:30 p.m. and which I told the pharmacy that I needed that prescription by this evening And I was told there as long as I was there before 8:00 p.m. that I would be able to pick up my prescription. So I showed up at 7:44 waited in line to go up to a window at 8:05 (from waiting in line)that pharmacy was closed due to short staffing by 8:00 p.m.. How about you finish servicing those who have waited in line to pick up their prescription instead of just putting a sign on the window saying that youre closed.
Ive been with Orrville Rite Aid Pharmacy for more than 15years Ive never had an issue.I ended up relocating to Wooster switching to Cleveland Rd. It only takes one bad experience to never come back. Extremely rude Pharmacy Tech!!!Ill take the 20min drive to Orrville with better customer service
I made an appointment to get vaccinations at 9:20PM… show up at 9:10 and there is a sign on the door that reads ‘walk-up pharmacy is closed for prescription pick-up, but those who have an appointment for vaccinations can still come back’.. I go back to the pharmacy area and I’m told that the pharmacist said he wasn’t doing any more vaccinations. I made mention that I had an appointment and she said it didn’t matter. The least they could have done was give me a courtesy phone call letting me know that I needed to reschedule. What a way to run a business. I get being understaffed, but please value my time as a customer and give me a courtesy call.
Dropped script off for my wife, over 2 hours later after I was told a “couple hours” it was not filled. Then I was told 20minutes, I could tell they had not done anything with the script. Some people don’t have all the time in the world.
I just want to know why no one answers the phone??? I tired early in the morning and during the afternoon and no one answers the phone...
Staff at pharmacy were super helpful and friendly
I have shopped at Rite Aid for over 20 years. I have consistently found the staff to be helpful, courteous and efficient. The store is always clean and well stocked with a wide variety of items. Im highly satisfied with Rite Aid.
The woman that helped me inside when I was picking up my daughter medicine today was very rude! She told me my daughter medicine wasnt covered on her insurance when the insurance isnt on file we just got this new insurance! She also rushed me the hole time even when I was trying to sign and read the options! She also didnt even give me my change after I paid for the medicine I shouldve have had to! The womans name was Rebecca I believe!
If it was possible to give no stars I would. They don’t listen to customer complaints, so here I am. They never have Rx’s on time. Never. It’s very rare that I don’t sit for 20-40 minutes and wait for a monthly refill. They have horrible customer service, and honestly I wish to god that you’d just sell out to a company that knows what is going on both in customer service and in general. 10/10 don’t recommend, go somewhere else with your Rx.
Always fast and friendly staff
Update: things have improved here! The last few times Ive been through the drive thru theyve been really nice. Thank you!
I have used Rite Aid for several years too long. I figured I’d give them another chance on multiple occasions because they are in a convenient location next to my doctors office, but it is time for me to change pharmacies after one too many unprofessional, rude encounters. There have been times when information was not provided to me and many times when they were out of my sons medication. I can guarantee almost every time that picking up a prescription will not go smoothly here. This causes long wait times for everyone involved. It’s very frustrating to wait a long time to be told that you will have to come back in an hour.
I stopped at this Rite aid back in September. I had severely injured my wrist and went in to get a sling. As I was checking out I started to pass out because of the pain. The two cashiers that were working - (Barb and Gail) were so helpful! They got me a chair, stayed up front, and called someone on my behalf. Sorry Im posting so late but I ended up having surgery on my wrist and just got back to work (I work in Wooster). Thank you for having such great employees!
Very long waiting times for drive through pharmacy and very rude service
I find Rite Aid has a pharmacy staffed with caring employees. This is an improvement over some years ago. It has been heartening to see even a pharmacy can become more helpful and friendlier. And this can be a one stop store if you have the need to just grab a few things. There are limited but helpful groceries, as well as seasonal items, gift items, and the expected toiletries, cosmetics, vitamins, cards for all occasions, and so much more. This is a bit pricier than you’ll find at discount stores but there’s a pleasant feeling to shopping here. A drive-through for picking up prescriptions is helpful, when not moving tediously slow (not the fault of employees, most usually). Parking is usually sufficient, and free. Visit Rite Aid in Wooster’s north end hospital area.
Be prepared to stand in line 30 minutes to pick up pre ordered prescriptions. Prices are high. Store is clean and pleasant though.
One very rude worker ruins it for all.I was mind blown today by the clerk in the pharmacy. Very judgy, presumptuous, and rude to me. I could not believe I was even being spoken to in such a way. They get one pass. If it happens again I write corporate and take my business elsewhere. One bad apple spoils the bushel. I dont care how clean the store is, or whether there are great deals. What I care about is being treated kindly with respect.
The people are okay, but we have waited for upwards of half an hour at the drive thru for a single car to finish and that’s not the worst. My sister’s medication is covered by her insurance, but despite that we were still charged for one of her prescriptions and NOW they have just stopped filling ANY of them. We have received NO notice or explanation as to why. Her insurance is up to date, she is still covered and yet they have not filled any of her prescriptions. No one should have to RATION THEIR MEDICATIONS because their pharmacy is IGNORING their requests for refills!! We will be filing a complaint and changing pharmacies. If your medications are important, fill them elsewhere. This Rite Aid is unreliable and SLOW.
Absolutely ridiculous how slow Gwenna works and absolutely upsetting considering the fact the script was ready at 4 and here I am here at 6 and I’m waiting for her to come back from idk what she mumbled what she was doing and when I asked what she just walked away and all the other employees seemed To have disappeared
You can get the same quality at lower prices almost anywhere else. They have really nosey people who work at the Pharmacy. You can often overhear them talking about customers behind their backs. I wouldnt suggest ever shopping at Big-Lots for anything non-consumable but they are right next door to this place and you can get what you need there. Like I said though dont buy anything that isnt consumable there it will break. Everything else is fine though.
Tami F made a cruddy experience with the drive thru being closed very tolerable! Thank you!
Dont usually do reviews positive or negative but im disgusted. Towards pharmacy only! Would give zero if I could. Every time I go I am met with nothing but rudeness, and problems. Having issues with them not filling prescriptions my doctor calls in, with excuses like well your insurance had expired (I got a new job) as if that is any of their business, they do not know anyones financial situation. I was told Saturday they would have it ready Monday even though the doctor called in in on thursday, go in today and it still was not ready, when asked why they repeated because of my lack of insurance, once again and was told it could be ready in 2 minutes which is funny considering on Saturday it was going to take until Monday. Was met with rudeness by the check out lady and pharmacist who i asked to speak with over confusion on why my savings card was not working because of lack of insurance when it worked fine with insurance that didnt cover prescriptions. Taking my business elsewhere.
Convenient, well organized. Rare that I find that they dont have what I need when I stop in. Good for the infrequent shopper.
I used to go in here frequently for milk and other than that their prices are outrageous! They had Dairymen’s Milk and best price on it.They have a great pharmacy a good rest room and a crappy lottery machine and a crappy photo transfer machine both of those things usually don’t work or eat your money.UPDATE >>>>They no longer sell Dairymens milk, boo!!!!!! True Moo, really ?
This store would be a whole lot better if the cashiers acted like they care that you are there. No enthusiasm whatsover!! So now that you have a new store, work on employee attitudes! CVS treats you so much better!!
Be prepared to wait FOREVER for your prescriptions
Pharmacy always very slow. 3 people ahead of me and 20 min wait
Have never understood the negative reviews. If you call ahead and utilize option three youll be given accurate information about your prescription including when you can pick it up.Or use their text messaging service to be notified of your prescriptions availability. It also provides you with ability to pay. Therefore the prescription is ready to picked up without delay. The major problem with any pharmacy is oftentimes caused by rude people who walk in with no prior warning and want their prescription filled immediately. This behavior causes long waits and frustrated customers who have to wait because of these thoughtless customers. Then you have all too frequent customer who arrives at the window to pick up a prescription and asks numerous questions or worse, wants to add a new prescription or two. Thats why you have long waits in the drive-thru.To those who are upset regarding long lines at the drive-thru, if you see a long line, pick up your prescription in the store.I know that many of us love the convenience of remaining in our cars but realize that long lines at the drive-thru are not being caused by Riteaid. Theyre being caused by uncaring customers. And, as stated earlier, you also have the option of leaving your home away from home in favor of using your feet.Regarding unfriendly employees. Ive never had one but Im a glass half full person. Perhaps some of the complaining customers glasses are half empty. If youre the latter, how would you, as a Riteaid employee after many hours dealing with unprepared and rude customers, start to react?Maybe youre being treated exactly like youre treating the them. From my experiences with Riteaid the complaints it receives are mostly caused by thoughtless customers who could care less that they have created long delays with their me first attitude. If your complaints are pertaining to food and personal items. Riteaid is not a grocery store. They are providing those item as a convenience for you.Dont like it. Visit Walmart, then you can complain about something else.
Aaron Tee has described countless experiences Ive had there!! Can only imagine what they say about us and who all here, they ve said my medications out loud and I happened to hear it bc she didnt see me untill I was done, since she has treated me with respect BUT like he said they talk about customers behind their backs!?!Besides that the newer crew had came in which the one lil girl still somehow works there, besides her they are very helpful and SETH had helped me so much, HIS HELP IS WHAT HAS KEPT ME THERE!!Their deals are nice sometimes also bc they keep GOOD WOMENS BRANDS.. Ages of products, God only knows..I have to dust things off sometimes!?! 15/ July
Good drugstore, good customer service. Very clean.
Poor service and poor attitude from employees. Never going back.
Below par customer service
Good selection.
