This place is an amazing find. It was originally recommended to me by a restaurant that had a rare beer I enjoy from Canada that I could never find anywhere. They have so many options from all around the world of drinks of all kinds. Their staff is so helpful, as it can be hard to navigate through so many options! Ive been going for a while now for seasonal beers from places around the country that I cannot find anywhere else. As I like to travel. I have found some small breweries in different states and Discount Drinks has usually had them or had a reason why they didnt. Their prices are great. Recently I visited a vineyard in Traverse City and wanted to see if they had the wine we tried. I walked in, asked a employee, he walked me right to the wine and I walked out in 5 minutes with exactly what I wanted for cheaper than it was at the vineyard! Highly recommend.

The best spot downriver, especially if you are into beer and bourbon. They regularly have several barrel pics available and usually have samples available for any of the picks. Their beer selection is so massive its almost overwhelming. Every significant michigan brewery is represented, they usually have a curated selection of interesting singles on the front counter. Their prices are good and their services is helpful for finding that one obscure bottle. I highly recommend.

I was amazed by the selections! The Guiness glass promotion brought me here and I was able to find some of my favorites plus get a cool gift for my bf! Cant believe that Ive never been here before🤔 Staff was really helpful! I will be back!

Discount Drinks is a great all round everything store. Whatever youre looking for they probably have it, and at a great price. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. I personally love their Bourbon selection. And they also order specialty items.

My wife and I returned bottles today to make a separate purchase each and were denied the $25 PER PERSON return because they said we were together and said that per couple is the law, not per person and to respect the law. Well, for their information the law for bottle return in Michigan says, a dealer may accept, but is not required to accept, from a person, empty returnable containers for a refund in excess of $25 on any given day. In other words, the Michigan Bottle Deposit Law allows up to $25 in refunds to be given PER PERSON PER DAY (NOT PER COUPLE BUT PER PERSON) so they are the ones not following the law!! They just lost our 20 years of business. Making us feel like we did something wrong in front of other customers. They have RAT TELLERS RUNNING TO THE REGISTER TO TELL THE CASHIERS so if you do go there to return bottles with your spouse be sure to go in separately and come out separately!!!!

Unbeatable selection here in Wyandotte. Massive variety throughout the store, great for any beer, wine or liquor needs you may have. They also do specials and events here every once in a while, met 50 Cent here a while ago, very fun time!

Good place. There is a great variety to choose from for gifts. I was just in there and they were helping a gentleman load up kegs into his pickup truck. They were very helpful assisting me in making a choice for Fathers Day. As a non-drinker I was really impressed by the selection they have of things for mocktails.

All I can say is WOW, for downriver this place is a gem, they have everything, and if they dont they will order it and actually call you with details! I love quality beer, but cant have the alcohol. I was going to a small place by my house but they had a short selection of NA beer and I had to ask them to order everytime and was kind of a hassle. I decided to stop in DD and see what they had available. Not only did they have my Erdinger, they had two six packs. I bought those and asked if they would order me a case. A few days later they actually called me to say my case was in and now everytime I go in they have another case ready with case discounts. Also the NA rack is loaded with the standard NA beer available anywhere, but also have a great selection of craft brewed NA beers that are very tasty. Great selection of all beers and the people who work there are very helpful and if they dont got it, they will get it.

Who has THIS MUCH alcohol?! Patrick stocks the coolest stuff for a really unique gift ( on top of all the usual suspects)! Non-alcoholic beverages and snacks, too, but downrivers most comprehensive selection of beers, hard ciders, and liquer in every size from those cool minis, to the economical jug size! Nice, helpful, knowlegable staff as well.

Good selection, but dont look for anything special. I came here when I move to the area, dropped $100 and 2 days later filled up two carts, spent over $400 and nobody batted an eye. They wont hold anything for you, wont let you know when anything is in, I had to go make relationships elsewhere. Too bad
