Love the pipe shelf wine display with old insulators too it really accents the granite and stone of the place As far as no masks go they are far enough away at the register to not pose a threat to me if Im wearing a mask so calm down people. This is a Liquor store I wish was down the street from my house! Prices are very reasonable and the staff is ready to help. Variety is phenomenal. A great Michigan Liquor store! Johnny and Dee See are great too.

Beautiful store with huge selection. That being said, no one at the registers was wearing masks, and neither were the customers around me. I mentioned I was a teacher, upon hearing the customer in front of me start a conversation with the person ringing me up. He acknowledged I was a teacher and then went on to criticize teachers in general, about the ridiculousness of remote teaching, and then they began talking about how they should get their property taxes back, since were not really teaching. This wasnt a conversation. They knew exactly what they were doing, because I went to look for my husband, whod wandered off and turned back around by the exit doors to see if he was still inside and the entire counter were staring at me with amused expressions on their face. It was completely rude, disrespectful, and deliberate. It wasnt an opportunity to have a conversation about how absolutely HARD it is to do my job right now and how I totally wish things were different, or how we are doing the best we can and we have some limitations that are beyond our control. It was open criticism, full well knowing the customer you are ringing up is uncomfortable. And to top it off, apparently its a choice to wear masks in his market- which I didnt even think about because I was so upset, until I found my husband outside waiting. He noticed that straight away, and went outside. Like I said- beautiful market. Unprofessional service.

Love this place because of the great selection. I hate being inside the store because they dont enforce masks or wear masks. It makes me so uncomfortable. It seems the people behind the register wear masks but customers and other store employees dont. They really need to start enforcing it. I know people who have lost loved ones from Covid-19 its not a joke.

I used to spend A LOT of money at this place as its a lovely store with friendly staff and I love to drink. I have a huge problem with none of the staff wearing masks during a pandemic. I think as a business that remains open it is your responsibility to help stop the spread of a deadly and infectious virus. Instead this place has become a hub for anti maskers and Ive had customers roll their eyes at me or give me dirty looks for wearing a mask. Even with the recent mandate the staff has mask hanging off the side of their face which I assume is a tactic to avoid fines while still not wearing masks. Im not sure why the decision is being made to have the staff maskless but all I can say is wearing mask is not a political statement its an IQ test which Johnny Macs is failing.

I love this place. Employees are very nice and drinks are very reasonable. I use to pay 18 dollars for a bottle of wine i can get here for 11. So they are not over priced and i have never had a problem. :)

This is definitely the nicest and cleanest liquor store in the Downriver area. Everyone here is always polite and helpful. If they don’t have what you are looking for, it’s probably not available. Excellent bourbon and whiskey selection, as well as a HUGE craft beer area... Everything from singles to 24Packs available

Went to Macs recently for alcohol for our wedding. Johnny was super helpful and had us set w what we need for basic bar and how much we needed . Even offered to return what we didnt use. Thanks made our beautiful moment very much easier. Great job.

Went in for Christmas shopping realized they over charged me and never gave me a recipe, frequently happens they don’t keep prices on most bottles of wine and the cashiers have to guess. On several occasions I have bought rotten drinks such as milk and mimosa. I go here because it’s right behind my house, the ladies are always friendly behind the counters.

Such an upscale liquor store, blown away by that massive granite countertop that serves as their checkout lane. Quick and friendly service, went in for a bottle return and they called for a gentleman in the back to assist in grabbing the milkcrate full of glass bottles. Selection is outstanding, virtually anything you could need when it comes to liquor, as well as some basic snacks for sale.

The guy is shady. Overpriced on their booze. I frequented his store every friday for years, when a special beer, bourbon county, came out. I asked if he had it, he told me i dont know what youre talking about. Havent been back since, knowing he hooked up his boys. Apparently i had to go more than once a week. Give your business to Discount Drinks. Better selection, they arent shady, and their beer is fair priced, compared to this dumpster fire of a liquor store.

Great selection, clean, and they sometimes have tastings! Even if youre not into alcohol, the selection of non alcoholic and alcoholic beverages is quite impressive. Plenty of snacks to choose from as well!
