My husband and I were in this shop today. The lady in front was very helpful when i inquired about classes. She even encouraged me to take an upcoming class, also we met some of the quilters in the back working on their projects, very friendly group. I was pleasantly surprised how we were welcomed. Lots of fabric and ideas for projects. They have classes and sell machines as well.

The worst hours of any retail shop I know.

If you go to the store in person they may be nice but dont call the shop expecting any help. I wanted to ask a few questions and the person that answered the phone was not helpful at all. In fact after one question they hung up on me!

Desperately need fabric from this store to complete a quilt project; however, they are only open during 3 week days for now with short business hours....which is not helpful for us that still work. I understand about COVID19 but I need some fabric! LOL.

This quilt shop is awesome. The nicest people work here. I visit once a month when in town and am always so welcomed. Thus shop is a must stop if you are ever in the area. They also have wonderful classes and teachers. Please visit.

They have a great staff who are ready to help you with your every need. The teachers for their classes are very knowledgeable and friendly. I have been taking classes for 4 years and I wouldnt go to another store for a class due to the instructors at blue ribbon. The owner is very helpful and willing to go above and beyond to help you

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS STORE AND THE OWNERS!!! Always trying to get what the customers ask for and will move mountains to try and make you happy. Just ask Frances or Shannon and they will try to make you happy!! Please just ask when you come in! I should know...I teach there a lot and they are a great asset to the quilting world!

Not open on saturday after website advised they were. Drove out of our way to go there.

I cant give half a star. But this is the second time I have been in this shop. And the second time that nobody spoke to me at all. I walked all through the shop and found a beautiful quilt on the wall but no mention of what the pattern was so that I may purchase it. Never got a hi or welcome to the shop and was walking out and no thanks for coming by or was there anything I can I help you find. So definitely wont be back.

Friendly, knowledge staff. Amazing classes. Very helpful and always above and beyond service. My favorite place to play and find new friends.

I LOVE this quilt shop. I would go there anyway because its so close and the whole area is wonderful, but the customer service is outstanding. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, but not pushy. After they get to know you they are even able to suggest just the right fabric based on their knowledge of your taste. They always know what events are coming and the sales are good too.One evening the owner re-opened the store for me as she saw me walking up a few minutes past closing. I was trying to get a baby quilt finished in time for the baby shower the next day and I was so grateful that she was willing to let me in to buy the thread I needed and it wasnt like it was a big purchase, either.The shop is well organized and well stocked, and of good quality. I highly recommend this quilt shop.

I had a great experience at this shop. The owner was awesome. Glad I made the trip. I would have loved to walk the town strip of Wylie. Next time 😊😊

I visit quilt stores when I travel. Blue Ribbon Quilt had several unique quilt kits. I went home with a few sewing projects.

Spent twenty minutes in store. Was not greeted or spoken to by any one of the 10 people there

Every time I try to give this shop one more chance, they disapoint me. The shop is not very well stocked and they are usually out of items.

Im new to the quilting world and wanted to try out a local quilt store to help support their business. I was also eager to find out that the day I went in, Blue Ribbon Quilt Shoppe was holding a Christmas in July sale, where a customer could choose a bow to earn a percentage off. When I found the tool I needed, the cashier proceeded to check me out without mentioning the sale. Once I inquired about it, the cashier gave me a surprised look, as if I knew a secret that only special members knew about. She was less than enthusiastic about letting me participate, which made the whole experience very awkward and uncomfortable. The sale was advertised on the stores Facebook page, so my question is: Why have an advertised sale if you dont want customers to know about it? Overall, the in-store pet chihuahua was more friendly than this lady.

Owner of the store was the only one workung. She started to cut my fabric when orher customers came in asking to see a quilt that she told them was off being quilted. She then left my fabric waiting to be cut while she continued to wait on them. I left, she didnt notice. When I called, she said oh thats ok.
