A large work truck backed into my car on the street, really smashed the front end. Had it brought to Gerber and they absolutely blew me away with how good of a job they did. Everyone I work with knows how much I love my car, and they all thought I went out and bought a brand new one to replace it, thats how good it looks! When I picked it up the car was sparkling clean, inside and out. Chad was the gentleman that I worked with/spoke to along with my insurance adjuster, and he was simply amazing. Super friendly, honest, and made such a stressful process 1000x easier. He also made sure to reassure me that if I have any problems or concerns with the work they did, to stop by or give him a call and they would make it right. I work in the auto parts field up here in Grand Rapids, and I have made sure to let co-workers know who is responsible for such an amazing repair job, as well as recommending you guys a million times over to friends, family, and customers.

They made what could have been a difficult time, car repair from someone running into me, seem pretty painless. Lisa was awesome at keeping me informed on the progress and Chad walked me through everything thoroughly. If I need collision work in the future Id certainly go back.

My front bumper was cracked from road debris and needed replacing, so I visited Gerber for a quote and used them for the repair. I have used the Plainfield location in the past with good luck, but this location is closer to my work. In addition to the bumper, I asked if theyd try to buff out some scratches from a dog on the outside of a back door. They not only did a beautiful job of it, but they didnt charge me for it! Then, when I went to pick the car up tonight, I realized it was beautifully cleaned inside and out!! My dash and console were spotless, and the drivers side mat that was caked in dirt and salt from the winter was perfectly clean!!! Im absolutely thrilled and highly recommend Gerber on 28th St. They went above and beyond, and Im so happy!

My bumper recently got damaged, so I brought it in to Gerber, requesting the least amount of work on it to make it functional. After I left, they realized that taking it off would result in a huge bill, but they were honest and just fixed minor things to make it look a little better and still be inexpensive. I appreciate them so much!

I almost had my car fixed here from being in a deer/ car accident and unfortunately the insurance company totalled the vehicle before Gerber could do anything. I was looking forward to them repairing the damage. If given the chance I will choose this shop. One of the most friendly and honest staff, which I dont feel I get from some other collision shops.

Office staff nice and professional, and Chad is Great!When I called to schedule my appt due to auto accident, the first things Chad asked me was if everyone was ok. This simple question and the very nice body work were the reasons I brought my car back to G.C.G. when when it was hit a 2nd time a few weeks later.

Much to my surprise, my car was declared totaled after receiving a large estimate from these guys. I and a few others had thought my car didnt have much damage. I wish I could have gotten a second opinion, but the surrender process moved too quickly.I had a box of car parts/misc items like oil and windshield wiper fluid in the back of my car which was for some reason removed and taken inside to the back of the shop. They were going to let me leave without it if I had not asked where it was. Because of this, I would advise any future customers to either take inventory of their car before leaving it or to empty it beforehand. I was already feeling uneasy about this place from having the unexpectedly high estimate, and this did not help.Pros however; I did appreciate that they gave me a rental car to use while mine was in the shop, with no expense to me.

They worked directly with my insurance company safeco. They set up the rental car for me and had it ready made it easy to return. They repaired the damages to my car and made it look great. Yes I recommend this company

I had such a good experience here! I had an estimate done on Tuesday, dropped my vehicle off Thursday morning and picked my vehicle up by Friday!! It was so quick and it looks absolutely perfect. I worked with Chad and spoke several times with Lisa and have nothing but positive things to say!! They were both fantastic to work with. I will definitely be coming here if I need them in the future!

My wife had her two driver-side doors replaced here. It was supposed to take five days to fix, but they were perceptive enough to notice a larger fix that needed to occur in order to replace the doors. So, the repair took a bit longer than they expected. Not to worry, though. The quality of their service was well worth it! Not only was their rep Chad (I think that was his name) friendly, but he also walked me around the vehicle to explain what exactly they did to fix it. I felt very informed and respected as a customer. I will recommend this place to ANY person who has a collision repair to make. Their pick-up and drip-off process was smooth and quick. Well worth it!

Very quick and professional. They even washed the inside and outside of the vehicle. A good price was set and I was treated with some empathy due to my situation.

Highly recommended this place they do quality work in great time as well. Got my challenger hellcat driver side window replaced and had some work done to my driver side fender were there was a huge door ding. They finished all the work in just a few hours I had my car back by the evening of the same day I brought it in. The employees were really helpful and very easy to talk too, just a very calm and friendly experience over all.

Do great repairs, when it came to a total, they sent my auto to auction before the title cleared. i was forced to find a ride 50 miles away to empty my auto. lacks communication. also NEVER HELPED GETTING ME A RENTAL.
