Needed a basement window that was rotten replaced. Ryan came right on schedule to review the job and provide an estimate. He was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and gave an estimate that was well below the one received from another similar provider. On the scheduled day, Adam showed up on time, and was courteous, thoughtful and clearly skilled. He completed the job well, and we are pleased with the results. I should add that we were also kept apprised of the status of our job, with the company (I believe Ryans wife) calling to remind us that they were coming. I cant recommend this find service provider more, and was impressed with every contact we had with everyone we dealt with. A standout company!

We needed a picture window replaced in our house so we called several places and got quotes. This place came in at a great price and they rushed it as much as possible. As soon as they got the window in, they came the next day to install it. The installer did a great job and the window was installed well and clean. We had 12 new windows put in and a few window repairs. We own an old house, so the old windows would let in noise & were impossible to open. These new windows are so nice & cut down on the noise drastically! The employees were all professional & always got back to us fast. Everyone wore masks during the install, which I really appreciate. I had the balances replaced in 8 windows. All of them were difficult to open and close, but otherwise in decent shape. I was happy that the person that came to give an estimate did not push brand new windows on me since that was not in the budget. The work was completed as promised, and one return trip was made when I still had trouble with one window. Problem solved quickly. No complaints!

This company did an awesome job of repairing our windows. We needed to replace the sashes on four of our windows. Chad was very professional and custom-milled all the necessary pieces to rebuild our windows. They look great and are as good as new. I highly recommend this company for window repairs!

It has been 108 days, and three visits, and our window is still not complete.husband and I reached out last winter regarding the repair of a broken window in our home. The primary concern was heat loss, as well as an entire room of our home being unusable. Our experience was as follows:-We received the confirmation email for our estimate visit. Both my first and last name were spelled incorrectly. This was a minor issue, but spiked concerns about professionalism and attention to detail.-On January 4th, Jacob visited our home to review our concerns. He was professional, and we had no issues. He assured us he would get our quote within the end of the day and didnt imply any major issues with the job. He did mention the window was a unique size, so we expected some delay and cost increase.-The following day, we contacted the office, as we had no quote.-We received our quote on January 7th, and again on the 8th.-The total for one window and several balance adjustments throughout the home was $727. They emailed us again on the 10th prompting us to pay the deposit. We saw no alternative and paid  $363.50.-When we tried to schedule the repair, we were told it would be a couple of months before delivery. We were shocked. Our issue was urgent, as our gas bill was more than $200 monthly. We asked for a refund on our deposit, and were told Jacob would call us back because the office didnt know the situation.-When Jacob called us back he said I thought I told you regarding the wait time of several months. He did not. He recommended we cover the window with plywood until spring.-We understood delivery delays due to COVID-19, and scheduled the repair for March 2nd.-On February 22nd they emailed us to tell us that our shipment was delayed, and the appointment was pushed back to March 15th.-On the 15th a repairman came with the new window. He worked for several hours before informing us that he was not confident in his installation, and we would need to schedule a second visit with someone else.-On March 29th Jacob arrived and worked on the window for some time. He then told us that our window was not the correct size, and a new upper needed to be ordered from the supplier. We were listing our home for sale and the window needed to be complete. Jacob told us he could print something confirming we were getting it repaired.-On March 30th I received an email that said We are ordering warranty window sash from the manufacturer since the one we received is 1/2 out of square. we will be back to install that sash and finish wrapping the aluminum. Thank you for your patience! There was no additional information on how long this would take.-On April 13th we received confirmation that service was scheduled for April 22nd.We have literally sold our house at this point.

AMAZING work. Highly recommend. They repaired two of my windows and replaced wood around multiple windows on the coldest day of the year. Beautiful craftsmanship yet quick at what they do. Also, when they came out to quote, they were honest and gave me advice I don’t think most sales people would. They told me to keep my existing windows because they were in good shape, even though they are old. I’m glad I did and even happier I went with this company.

They were able to replace the glass in a couple of our windows (which I feared would have to be replaced), and also a couple of window cranks. Great service, great price, and the windows look like and work like new! I will be contacting them again in the future for all our screen and window needs. A+ guys!

I was very excited to find this company as we have an older house with some windows Id like to save. We had someone come out to our home in late June/early July for a consultation. We reviewed 3 options we were interested in. We were told it may be a couple weeks before we would get a quote for all 3.After a month of no word we started to call for a status. We were told it was a delay on a vendors part and theyd have it to us soon. On Aug 20th we received a quote for only 1 of the 3 options and were told we would get the other 2 soon.Mid September, still no word, so we called twice more in an attempt to reach someone. We explained we were missing quotes. At that point I asked for the bare minimum to be quoted as these are low windows and we have two children under 2.Monday I received a quote for one of the 3 original options, but not for the bare bones quote (replace or repair 3 small windows) I asked for in the last 2 calls. I keep speaking with the office admin rather than the person doing the quote. I suspect there is information being lost in translation. I wrote back, no answer, I called, no answer.The amount of time and energy chasing this company down and re-explaining over and over what we are looking for with little follow through has been disappointing and frustrating. I know there is a lot going on in the world, but there are ways to ensure your potential customers are valued.

We recently had 3 cloudy windows repaired. The technician was prompt for the scheduled estimate. In the final install also very prompt and on time.Really like this company. If more windows need to be repaired they will be the first for me to call.

I had a broken upper window that does not come out or move. Another with a piece broken inside the frame. This company was responsive, did great work, & reasonably priced. After that, I needed a partial screen frame that just needed one side replaced. Turns out it’s a very unusual frame style. I hunted all over town for it & finally gave these guys a call. They didn’t have it in stock, but we’re able to find the exact match, promptly ordered it in, & and even put the screen in the frame for me. All within a couple of days. Wonderful people to work with; won’t ever call anyone else for any future window issues. Highly recommend

Michigan Screen and Window Repair has been FANTASTIC to work with! We had a couple windows under warranty that had damaged seals. When we got the replacement windows from the manufacturer, the technicians came out to replace the windows. Unfortunately, one of the windows had been damaged in shipping (NOT MSWRs doing.) They replaced the intact window and came out several weeks later when I finally got another replacement for the broken window. They only charged me one service call, AND they took away all of the broken/damaged windows for disposal. I highly recommend this company!

Michigan screen and window repair was amazing! We have been doing various projects on our house and so far they are the only company that has come through on timing. From the very beginning they were professional and courteous. They installed 12 windows in our home and it has made such a difference on the temperature that our boilers rarely kick on anymore. I highly recommend this company, the pricing is more than fair and some what surprising. Other quotes we received were almost double and they were trying to go cheaper because they knew we had a good quote already.

Price was half that of the companies running ads on TV, for the same windows.Wait time was only a couple of weeks compared to 6-7 from other quotes. Received a written, detailed quote.Installation was awesome, they even called because they were concerned about the cats.Cleanup was great.

Could not have been more pleased with the work done on our windows! We had repairs done on several of our windows. The estimate was more than reasonable and the repairs were done in a timely matter. I will definitely be calling them in the future for any further repairs or replacements.

To long to get a new window.I dont know the name of the person.However I did tell them it was a bedroom window that was cracked. The responseWas bring it in it will be about two weeks.This was about 2 weeks ago.It didnt make sense to me. Why would I go without a window in November/December ?

A couple of weeks ago I placed a call to Michigan Screen and Window to make an appointment to repair a window with a broken seal. The woman who took my call assured me they could fix this issue and scheduled someone to come out to our home a week later between 4-5. I left work early that day and arrived home at 3:30, waited until 6 p.m. and no one showed up or called. I called first thing the next morning and asked why no one called or showed up. The woman said she would check it out and get back to me later that day. I still have not received a return call from this company. I am very frustrated that I cannot get anyone to return my call. They had several good reviews which is why I selected this company. Anyone else having issues? I am about to move on to the next company because apparently, they are too busy to handle new work.

I called and scheduled a quote for some window glass replacement. My first appointment was rescheduled, no big deal. Justin came out on a Friday and did his measurements. Told me he would email me a quote on Monday. The following Wednesday I emailed him to see if the quote was done but never heard back. I called the company approximately 2 weeks later and was told they were overly busy, but I would be sent my quote. It has been another several weeks and I still have yet to hear back.Update: Justin has contacted me and has provided me with a quote. He was apologetic for the lost quote and time delay. He got me on their schedule right away and provided a discount for the miscommunication. I am currently waiting for the installation.

We hired Justin to replace a pane of glass in an interior door. The final product looked great, and the cost was incredibly reasonable. Well definitely call him in the future for any window/screen needs we have.

I had a broken window and a broken glass in a door replaced by Michigan Screen and Window. They look good as new! Originally there was some miscommunication but Justin reached out to me personally to explain, which I appreciate, and the reasons for the miscommunication were understandable. Once we got back on the same page, the work was done quickly and with great quality.
