Manger is a sweet heart.keeps store clean and is on top of things pretty quick when they get a truck.

3 to 4 registers but only 1 open at any given time. On more occasions than I could count on 10 fingers and 10 toes combined, there has been a line of customers stretching down the aisle while 1 or 2 employees or manager are gossiping in the office behind the registers and another 1 or 2 continuing to stock shelves. Honestly, I would avoid the Dayton Avenue location in Xenia and go to the one on E. Main Street less than 5 minutes apart. For one, it is cleaner and more organized but, more importantly, it does not take 10 minutes to pay for a pack of toilet paper.

Great place to shop and friendly workers. Really like the new renovation they are doing.

Isles are usually full of unpacked goods and food. Was very clean and organized.

Always things blocking isles. Shelves not stocked. This way long before covid. Dollar store north end of town great! Always placing a sign on the door for cash only!! Numerous times sign on door closing at 7pm...Are you kidding me!!! Horrible.

Has some good deals but make sure you have them on your app or theyll get ya. Pay attention to prices bc they dont ring up like they suppose to. Very friendly. Only one cashier every single time so takes triple the time. Plan at least 10+ minutes for a quick stop

Very disappointed with the organization of this store. I was in there on Monday, and it was an absolute mess and in need of straightening. Products were just laying on the floor in many isles, and items on shelves were out of place. I usually shop at the store on the other side of Xenia off 68, and its typically in great shape.

Theres one associate there that I really enjoy talking to but I really dont like the manager. Hes very arrogant, cocky and downright disrespectful. He only speaks to certain customers and if you ask him a question of whether the store carries a certain item or if the store has anymore of that item he snaps back with this matter of fact attitude and response as if youre supposed to know what is in his inventory every time you go in there. Its convenient to have the store only a few min from my house but because of his attitude and demeanor I often end up driving the extra 8 miles to go to a store where the manager and staff are a lot more friendly and def more professional!

The Dollar General in Xenia has had its problems lately. But they seem to be pulling it together. My reason for giving a five star review is that the staff, are just wonderful. They are helpful, funny caring and just alaround a bunch of great gals.

Went in looking for a large quantity of pot scrubbies (they make great filter media for aquariums). The manager not only assisted me with buying out their entire supply, she also called several other stores in search for more pot scrubbies and she even placed a call to her GM to try to order several more cases for next weeks inventory. I was not expecting this level of customer service but was extremely impressed by it. Will definitely be back.

Shelves are empty, didnt even have a bottle of peroxide!

Employees and store was following CDC guide lines. Most customers were not. Store was a mess with product boxes all over. Many shelves were empty of stock. I wont shop there again.
