I bought crossiants here, and I did not check the expiration date because I assumed it was right. Three days later I noticed mold starting to grow on the crossiants. They asked if I had the receipt and I said no I do not keep receipts from 3 days prior. The expiration date said October 15, but I guess it was supposed to say September 15. Then they said because it was a bread product I should have known it was going to expire in 3 days. MOST bread products do not mold within 3 days of me buying them. They said I could not get a refund or exchange for them putting the wrong expiration date on the item. This was my first time every vistiting Kroger too. I am very disappointed at this corporation.
Always great service at check out.
The employees are polite and thank us for coming in, but doesnt make up for management only scheduling one person on registers. Let my line &. not much fun to try checking ourselves out at a self checkout with more than 33 items. Aggravating.
Was great employees were all friendly. They had what I needed. I was in and out just a few minutes.
This pharmacy really blows!!! Ive had nothing but problems with their pharmacy for the past year. Joyce gives false information and has the worst customer service. Do not recommend!
I use their grocery pickup and the employees that bring it out are super nice, I highly recommend using the store pickup during the pandemic. Why go inside if you dont have
Had everything in stock that I came for.Good prices nice quality.
Absolutely disgusted with this store right now. We placed a $200+ click-list order yesterday and all the time slots for the whole day were available to choose from. We chose 7-8pm so my husband would have plenty of time to get out of work and get there. We are out of food for our 1 year old and many of our household staples. I miss a call from Tamra at 6pm letting us know they’re too busy to fulfill our order AT ALL. My husband calls back to see what options we have and gets no common courtesy/decency from Tamra herself. It is frustrating to spend the time putting together the cart virtually and then get denied service to then have to cancel my order and go physically put the same items in my cart. My time was wasted and they’ve likely lost my future business.
I love the store! I just wish the cashiers would stop tossing apples like they are box products! every time I buy apples I have to throw the ones that were on the bottom one because they found some down the conveyor!
Not one of the huge super size Krogers, but they have everything I need. Folks at the deli are always friendly to me, and service is fast. Great selection of flowers and gifts as you walk in. I usually do the self-checkout and there is always someone there to help with scanning issues. Plenty of parking as several of the neighboring businesses in the place of out of business. Convenient location and recommended for full shopping or just grabbing something.
Kroger dont buy Cook chicken I was sick chicken wasnt done Kroger Corporation its nothing they can do blood in middle of chicken
Lines were long but they move quickly
Dont love it, but better than nothing.
Xenia Kroger is one of the best places to shop, hands down. The employees are welcoming and go the extra mile every time. We especially appreciate Brenda, who seems so happy to do her job well. Give her a raise!!!
The lady working in the meat department was so helpful and friendly. April in produce was also very friendly and helpful when I was there a few days prior. These employees have shown excellent Customer Service. It is becoming my favorite grocery store to shop. Thank you!
Its a Kroger. Also they had like 2 birds in there so you know whatever. The cashier wouldnt stop talking and my feet kinda hurt but thats not their fault. Also their cookies are really good I had like 2 or 3 of the samples
This is an okay Kroger. Its one of the smaller ones, the common style for the last decade or so that is systematically being replaced by the far larger and superior Kroger Marketplaces. While it is nice to know where everything is (assuming youre like me and have shopped in this model for many years), this particular store seems to be going down hill for the last few years. The employees are still very nice, but it never seems to have enough cashiers. It also seems a little dingy inside - I cant tell if this is a lighting issue or what.
I shop Kroger in Xenia,OhioThey have now installed u scans and only had 2 registers opened yesterday,i waited 15 minutes in line and had to bag my own groceries! If i want to do this Ill shop Aldis! Ive always shopped Krogers for over 30 years because of great food and wonderful service, but technology to s taking all this away!
I was shopping at Krogers in Xenia and cut the back of my hand on something (I have idea what), but it started bleeding. I asked the lady in bakery if she had a paper towel or napkin I could use to stop the bleeding. She not only gave me atowel and an alcohol pad to clean it she chased me down and put a bandaid on it. Thank you, Karen.
I was in the bakery section searching for a specific item and one of the associates or if she could help me with something. I explained what I was looking and she pointed me in the direction where the Italian creme cake slices were, I’d been craving it for a while! So I was excited to loo for them; I found them but they were discounted because they were expiring and decided not to pick it up and continued my shopping.I passed, Glenda the bakery associate again she asked if I was satisfied and found what I was looking for.I explained to her that I wanted a fresher slice of cake so I didn’t pick it up and she told me to hold on a second and she’d slice me a picece of the Italian creme cake right now. This was an example of excellent customer service and #1 in putting customers first. Glenda didn’t meet the standard she surpassed stays quo and I hope that she’s treated well by the company!v
This store wouldve gotten more stars but I ordered a cake for my daughters birthday today. I ordered marble cake with butter cream icing and this is what I got; yellow cake, regular icing and not the best decorating. I really dont think I will order anything from Kroger bakery. 🙁🙁
Weve had MULTIPLE problems with this Korger location. Weve tried clicl list, got other peoples stuff and didnt get ours, we were charged for it and then told they would only give us a store gift card. THATS THEFT! And then today I went to pick up my daughters corsage for a dance tonight that I ordered TEN days again and they didnt even have anything on file of me ordering it and theres nothing they can do for me either!! What a crock!! Ive contacted corporate and they are investigating the Xenia location!!! Shouldve been done a long time ago!!!
A great store with varieties. Friendly and dedicated stuff.
Very nice service! Try not to get lost though; its the kind of place youll have to visit often to know where things are since the store is a little crowded with groceries.
Love to go on Wednesday mornings. Very few ppl in the store. Well stocked or being stocked. Employees every where and willing to help shoppers. Awesome day at Kroger.
Kroger is great! I only gave 3 stars because some items throughout the store, and outside are not priced. Other than that, five stars!
I just had to send a true heartfelt compliment to my cashier today at Krogers. Her name is Brenda and if there were a 10 star rating she would get it from me. She is always so kind, patient, courteous, and helpful. Cannot say enough good things about her. I hope she gets a bonus or at least an acknowledgement. Thank You.
Mackenzie in the pharmacy was amazing during the major power outage she managed to still give me my medicine. She went above and beyond and I thank her immensely for it
You can still get what you need but with all of the self check out they are taking the personal touch out the shopping experience. This is the reason I do not go to Walmart but now there is no reason not to now. I would end up saving a comparable amount that make fuel points not even worth it now as krogers fuel seams to be higher than the surrounding gas stations most of the time.
I would recommend shopping here over any other stores. If you go in store to shop youll receive excellent customer service and find great produce. They dont sell furniture and dont seem to have as wide a variety as some other places, but theyll help you find what you need as much as possible. Dont call customer service if you expect someone to answer the phone in less than 30 minutes. As a previous employee, Ive seen customer service associates actively avoid answering the phone, even if theyre standing next to it. I wouldnt recommend working here. Management tends to choose favorites and ignore concerns or ideas to better improve work environment. If you do apply to work here make sure to put yourself as full time, because if you apply for part time theyll give you full time hours with none of the benefits. If you cant do the ridiculous hours they give you theyll threaten to fire you, and if that doesnt work theyll switch you around the store constantly until youre stressed enough that you end up quitting. Overall, I would recommend shopping here, but I wouldnt recommend working here.
So, they have issues keeping the store stocked and the store manager (Mr. Tye) thought instead of worrying about taking care of the store that it was better to harass and threaten my roommate who I was shopping with that. My roommate used to work at Kroger and he didn’t do anything to warrant being a threat to the store. In fact, we both used to work there and thats why we make the effort to shop at Kroger because we like to go in and talk to our old coworkers and managers. Well anyway ... My roommate was just in the cereal aisle trying to decide which cereal he wanted, and the store manager walked up to him and stated that if there was any incident that my roommate would be banned from the store. My roommate and I have shopped at Kroger several times with no complaint from anyone about anything we do because we go in, shop, talk to people we know, pay for our groceries, and leave. But apparently the store manager thought even though again we have had no issues until today that it was important to threaten a customer instead of take care of the store. Also, when I found this out from my roommate (I was in the store just he went to the cereal aisle without me) I went to the customer service desk to complain because I was understandably upset because of this. The customer service rep that was on the clock then not only stood up for the store manager’s actions but threatened us as well stating that if we do cause issues we will get banned and to call corporate if I had an issue. This should not have been done and we should not have been treated this way at all both individuals should be fired because I left shaking because not only had my roommate had be threatened I had been as well. The only person who seemed to be empathic was Sue the cashier. She should probably replace both people who threatened us because it’s a sad thing when a manager and someone who’s specific job is supposed to be taking care of customers by being a customer service rep threaten a customer who didn’t do anything can’t do right by customers but a person who is just a cashier can. I was so upset and was struggling checking out with my food and gift card Sue kept saying she was sorry and that it shouldn’t have happened and that it was okay and that I could take my time. I called corporate and the store the day after this happened and the store investigated why my roommate was harassed and threatened... apparently, he looked at the store manager angrily. I want to ask the store manager how low of self-esteem and how much of a bully do you have to be to threaten and harass someone because you thought they looked at you a certain way? And there is still no excuse as to why the customer service rep threatened me.
I really do not like shopping at Kroger. Nothing against this Kroger. I am rating it 5 stars because of the amazing job they did blowing up the helium balloon I brought in myself. *Amazing*
Do not go to This Kroger pharmacy which is terrible ! If I can, I do not want to give them any star. This will be Zero ! They gave me a wrong medicine, but They did not return money or changed a right one for me ! ! ! ! ! ! This is a crazy pharmacy ! Do not buy anything from this Kroger pharmacy ! ! ! ! !
The deli chicken was exceptional however taking 6 full time parking places at 5:00 pm when 1/2 of Xenia is trying to shop does take a lot of nerve by Kroger management, not everyone likes or can shop on line. Perhaps management could move this type of newfangled shopping experience over to the other side of the parking lot and inconvenience all the hipster types who use this service
I absolutely love our Kroger in Xenia! Perfect size. Always fresh produce plus not to mention excellent Management & employees.
Very helpful. However the pharmacists need more help. There is always a long wait to get your medicine. But they are always nice and helpful.
What struck me about this grocery stop was what they didnt have, and it accounted for about 25% of my list.
I am always pleased when I go to Kroger. Special the bakery. Cory was excellent in all ways. She helped me with a pleasant aditutde. The ratio g goes to her
I have always loved the customer service and atmosphere. However it is small and kind of cramped and they dont have all of the things that the big stores have, but its great for everyday groceries and last minute needs.
I love the food options here. Kroger brand is just as good as any high end brand. And I LOVE getting fuel points!
Over just few past years Ive seen this store go down the toilet. Very understaffed for help. They NEVER have anything in the shelves. And dont even try to get a sale item. I was a stockman for 8 years and I can not figure out why they cant plan ahead on sale items. They get fliers a week to sometimes two weeks In advanceI have already changed out pharmacies for the same reason there also. They cant blame the Walmart because there just as worse. They need to close it down.
Very nice grocery store, but it was hard to find some items during my visit because the shelves werent organized at the time. Everything else was awesome, though!
Love Kroger. Staff go out of their way to help. Best produce in town. Floral department is awesome!
Nice employees but the shelves are hardly ever stocked. Its closest to home but I prefer to.do my grocery shopping elsewhere.
Ive been shopping here for as long as I can remember. The produce, meats and dairy cant be beat. I highly recommend shopping here.
Clean, well stocked, friendly faces and really quick lines. Pharmacy lines get long, but usually not a real long wait.
This Kroger probably has most of the groceries that you need. Kroger has very good produce even in this very small store. The nearby competitor seems to sell produce that falls off the truck.
Kroger was really busy today, but everyone was helpful and happy. I found everything I needed. Quick checkout even tho they was busy!
I wish i was able to ha e the meat department could still order me the whole catfish wbi h is my favorite fish.
Well stocked has everything you need. Nice employees too yaay!
Krogers was great as usual I had trouble finding something so I asked the lady that was in the self-checkout lane her name was jewel and she was extremely helpful helping me find what I needed thanks again .
I tried the Kroger clicklist this morning and I am very disappointed. First, quite a few of my items needed to be substituted which is fine, I allowed substitutions. However I ordered 2-24 packs when you order 2-24 packs there $4.99 a piece. The girls came out with two 12-packs and said they were out of 24 packs and charge me $5.99 for the two 12 packs. So I had to correct them on how many I should have and how much they should have been. They corrected the issue and were very nice about it. So then I log into my bank account and see that I was charged the estimated total of my order. I called to see why I wasnt charged the actual amount and the estimated total and they said that I wouldnt have the difference back in my account for 2 to 3 business days. I feel like this is a major inconvenience. I will not be doing the click list again. If I would have known that I wouldnt have my money back immediately I wouldnt have done the clicklist.
Didnt have dip that was on the app.. & more lines need to be open. GIVE ME A JOB ILL HELP LOL! I bag my own groceries when I come in there anyways.. I love the digital coupon it saves me $ every time.. I think FUEL POINTS SHOULD ROLL OVER IF YOU DONT USE THEM JUST LIKE SPEEDWAY!
They are almost always understocked on what you want/need but the staff is really friendly
Good Kroger for a quick stop. Smaller store but have all of the basics plus they do have their fresh fried chicken (in my opinion, some of the best there is, especially for the price)
Always friendly, helpful staff. They do a great job of directing customers to open lanes and rarely do not have the items I need.
Just drive to any of the other Kroger locations.
This Kroger is too small for the amount of people who shop here, and it is in serious need of remodeling. I prefer to go to Aldi as much as possible vs going to this store. Pharmacy line is always too long also.
Parking lot. Easy access from highway. Lots of stores brands and sale items. Great store.
Yes the Xenia Kroger store is always a good store to go to I pick up my supplies there and my Pharmacy Goods its a good store
Friendly employees for the most part Good selections easy to get around . They do not have a drinking fountain and bathrooms are nasty even right after being cleaned some people have no respect for the next person that might need to use these faculties.
Kroger is an employee friendly store. They always have what you need. Prices are reasonable.
This Xenia Kroger is OK. Nearly every time we visit we find empty spaces on shelves or we are picking up the last of an item. Like many stores, they try to stock wide but not very deep. Its still better than W across the way.
Had a not so good experience with the salad bar.. Seriously you should keep it stocked and stir the things on it doesnt look appealing at all.
Uscans, no baggers, and lack of food options make tgis my least favorite Kroger ever! Meat department never has what you need. Produce rots after just a few days. Not enough help and Customer Service staff are rude, as well as managers.
Hardly ever have the shelves stocked in the evening. Even the stock room its empty as well, because Ive had people to check and see if they have any in the back. Most of them could stand for improvement in their personalities.
As poorly stocked as usual. Especially daily. Only the smallest bags of cheese. Scattered stock didnt cover the fact that the larger bags were all missing.
Cant make a phone call in this store to save my life. This store is ok but doesnt have a good vegan / vegetarian options. Actually the options have decreased. I find more at my local walmart than here which is shocking. Plus they are always out of the bread I want. But at least they have the ice cream though...
Had to run in to pickup a prescription. Was in & out! Although unusual; it was great!!
Great place. I currently work here at the salad bar. Nice customers & workers
Great experience. Friendly staff good sale prices
Great service...first time Ive ever seen the lines backed up.
Did ClickList for first time and loved it. Vicki was our attendant and did a great job.
Good products good service except the baggers could use some training or moved to another position they always put heavy items on my produce. Other than that its great.
Staff here have always been friendly and helpful.
The availability of fresh fruits and vegetables here are not bad but they could be so much better. The Kroger in Beavercreek I guess has spoiled me. I usually try and go there even though I live much closer to this one.
Kroger people always seem to be helpful I like a lot of their products I like that its not a real big store that youre not walking forever to get to something but they have just about everything you need good quality standards
Very friendly, helpful staff and good prices.
Be prepared to bag your own groceries, never have enough working
This is my favorite local Kroger store. It is just the right size.
Extra Clean..I am from Charlotte NC and I was visiting family in Ohio. I really miss Krogers being here.
Like this Kroger better than the superstore ones. Good selection, same prices and alot easier to get in and out of.
Fine. Wish they keep the fruit stocked better...was out of strawberries. 3 for $5.00...
Bags they have break everytime! Im shopping at Grocerylan from now on. They provide bags that dont break in the driveway!
Great plave to shop and has very nice employees and manergers.
Your store be neat. Nice. Ails
Kroger is always a good place to shop with some of the best items with the Kroger Brand vs the national brand.
I shop here because the staff knows me by my name and is ready to help.
It was busy cz of day before thanksgiving but everything was stocked good employees are always nice and helpful finding things .Cashiers are always polite and very nice and get u thru the busy lines and on ur way .Krogers is my store for grocery shopping wouldnt grocery shop anywhere else.
Very nicely laid out establishment, with a great inventory of grocery products.
I love to shop at kroger.the store is wonderful.love the produce is the best.
In and out.very fast.Got what I needed and left.
Pam at the Floral Shop is so kind and helpful.
They offer good deals sometimes. I think they are way overpriced on some items but I enjoy krogers.
Deals that cant be beat and you always find unadvertised deals too its always good to save money
Very friendly device with great deals on food.
Long lines at checkout. Transaction with a valid debit card took 5 minutes due to very slow response of their card reader .
Good location and convenient, but selection doesnt seem as good as other local Kroger locations
Competitive pricing, clean building and friendly staff. Love their clearance section.
