Amazing grocery store! Safeway had a great floor layout with inviting space, associated staff were accurate and great customer service! Closing manager gave off a atmosphere that just ant in every safeway! Great deals. Many products.

LOVE the staff here!! The store size is perfect, not too big, not too small. Options for checkout are nice. I know where everything is and I can get in and get out quickly. Parking lot isnt too crazy. The gas station next door isnt related to Safeway so Im not sure why its located there, but everything else about this store is great!! LOVE CJ, Ashley, and Solomon.

Its a good store. Had great fresh produce. My daughter loves one of the shopping carts there because its a car looking cart, but theres only one of them so hopefully its available when you go there with your kids lol. Most the employees there are cool, theres one older guy thats a little stiff. Other than that, GREAT SAFEWAY!!! ID RECOMMEND IT.

Went here to get my 12 year old vaccinated. They were so nice. Looked up her insurance for me and joked with my daughter since she was a little worried about the shot.

Ive shop at a few different Safeways and in general they are great.

The pharmacy staff knows you by name, and they are so friendly.Some of my favourite cashiers have been there since my grown kids were babies. I love this store. When I visit it feels like Im visiting family.

This Safeway is decent it just tends to run out of the items I personal shop for often but there apparently is a good shortage with the Safeways I guess...At least that is what one of the night managers advised so hopefully it wont last. Store kept pretty clean and employees are friendly.

Safeway needs to stock their shelves more often. I find myself driving to multiple Safeway locations to get everything on my list that I need. Nobody should have to drive to multiple stores to get everything they need. I would rather pick a different store to make it one stop shopping for all my needs

The 16th ave Yakima Safeway is surprisingly well maintained with nicely stocked merchandise in an easy to navigate setting

I have shopped at Safeway Since I was11 years old theyve always been kind and helpful since the pandemic they cant do that like they always have done but I love Safeway and most of these workers keep up the great work

Favorite place to spend twice as much for half the quality. I believe their name is a derivative of the importantance of contraceptive usage. It is good to know they will wear a condom upon bending you over when you enter.

Everything is scattered around the store. I had to go to the Deli to find the chips I needed. When I asked for help nobody knew where anything was, one person actually told me to go to another store to find what I was looking for. I spent 30 mins in line to pay because the cashier was slow and kept getting distracted by things that had little to do with checking customers out. I wont go back to this store

Friendly staff at the Lincoln and 16th location, lately shelves have been a little empty but I get in and out quickly.

Colored older male that works there is RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL AND VERY JUDGEMENTAL.

The store is always clean and has a nice, quiet atmosphere. Ive hardly ever waited in line. The produce is fresh and if high quality.

This was the best Safeway I have been to in Yakima. Very clean, well organized, fully stocked with everything you need. Also this is a huge Safeway, I will definitely be shopping in this store over any others. Customer Service was awesome too!

I have been going to this Safeway since it was Albertsons. It is my neighborhood store. Tonight though there were no carts and I had to carry a hand cart. The parking lot had a lot of cars so I thought well they must just be really busy. Upon checkout there was no line. Guess they werent that busy.

Newest of the Safeways in town and quite large. You can find decent deals on meat and it isnt as clustered together as the other ones. Still not my home Safeway, but I like it none the less.

Do three different Safeways that I shopping of course. I find one on 24th and Nob Hill excellent in employees attitudes helpfulness. On 16th and Lincoln they also are very courteous employees. I always find the deals that Im looking for and then some. The other two stores need help in all areas.

Safeway has been our go to place for groceries, gas and pharmacy for many years. However, while living in Southern California for 31 years we shopped at Vons. Which had exactly the same brands, merchandise and advertising as Safeway in the rest of the country.We could probably pay less in other stores. However we are willing to spend a bit more and know what we are getting.When it comes to pharmaceutical needs, I a permanently disabled and on a number of prescriptions. The pharmacists there have shown real interest in our wellbeing and have made valuable observations and made suggestions that have been invaluable.

I come here when I have to because its close to home. The staff is decent and friendly. My biggest gripe with Safeway is that they rarely have enough checkout aisles open. Its happened to me over and over again. Theyll have 2 checkout lanes open and 10 people in each line. Wrays is friendlier and WinCo is much much better prices and selection. I only go here when I have to. Its definitely my last choice of supermarkets.

This store is wonderful and I always find what I need and what Im looking for.

If I could give 0 star I would. Beware Safeway regularly post just for U savings and for me at least only about 3 out of 4 ring up. That 4th one rings up at full price. Ive brought this to management more times than I can count and am either told go stand in line (for 20 minutes) at customer service for a refund or that they know and it happens all the time. At this point I believe Safeway is fully aware of this over charging and accepting it as extras profit and doesnt care that they are fraudulent in there practices and stealing from their customers.

They typically have what I need and there produce and meat are pretty good for which I would give it a 5. However, there is typically a line and its too expensive which Id give it somewhere between a 2 & 3. So I split the difference & gave them a 4.

They care about their customers and show that by helping you find anything you need. Amazingly fast!!

One of the best stores ever. The staff was extremely kind and understanding. I know yakima is a ruff area but the manager heard my problem and helped me to the max. I got left at this store from a so called friend. I live in ellensburg. The gave me the time and resources to help me call and get a ride back to ellensburg. I highly recommend this store. Thank you safeway employees and staff for helping me out in a time of need.
