I mean just check out the sound when I switch over to electric towards the end of the video. Mind blown! I love that I can trust Ted Brown with all of my music needs. Ive always had great experiences with Ted Brown Music. Everytime I need a repair for my trombone I come here. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Great selection of accessories/books.

Best place in town for guitar gear. Helpful employees. At times they could be a bit more engaging but I️ understand that we’re all just wage slaves so all things considered this is a 5 star local business. It would be nice if they started selling seagulls. The new rainsongs are cool though! Tons of pedals & overall a good selection of gear at fair prices.

I had an amazing experience here, and I suggest this place a lot. I went to view some guitars and ask some questions, and the employee was very patient and fun. They also gave me suggestions to help with my decisions. So I really do recommend this place.

They have knowledgeable employees who are more than willing to answer any questions with no pressure sales. Also,there is a wide variety of quality,yet affordable merchandise. I do every bit of my music related business there.I always leave feeling like I was treated well. Which in its self makes you want to return.

Representatives at Ted Brown seemed perfectly content with losing a customer of over 30 years over a defective $1.00 guitar string that popped its ball end while being strung. We cant replace it, but you can come in and buy another one. Wow. Ive spent over 100,000.00 in that store. If Im not worth a dollar there, I know that Sweetwater already values my business. Every time Ted Brown doesnt carry something in stock and I order online at Sweetwater, they call me after my items arrive to make sure all is well and if they can do anything else for me. Thats how its done, Ted. In a time when business all over the landscape are closing their doors due to online purchasing, customer service is the one thing they could offer. Sorry, not at Ted Brown.

In a town with very little competition for retail music, it is nice to have a store like Ted Brown where the employees act like they are competing for business! It would be very easy for them to rest on the fact that Yakima is a fairly captive audience, but instead, the staff is knowledgable, friendly and welcoming. The manager at the store has personally hunted down specific items I have requested, which has kept me from using impersonal online shopping sites.I actually enjoy going into the store, which is rare for me.

Stopped by on my lunch break to pick up a Christmas gift for my husband. I asked the cashier for help in locating the item (powered monitor) and was directed to the back where there was one customer at the counter getting help. I started looking around and found what I wanted on display but couldnt locate one in the box. After waiting 7 mins, I asked another associate for help. They said they were busy with another customer and would be about 10 - 15mins. In that time, I went online and purchased the exact same item they had in the store for $10 less than their advertised sale price (which was a stated $100 savings over the standard price) with free shipping.Edit: Thank you for responding. Added two stars. One for responding. Second because I came back the next day and was able to get assistance finding and purchasing guitar strings.

GREAT place for almost any sort of shopping. Always go there for accessories and reeds. The employees will also give advice and reccomendations when buying/renting instruments!

This store was absolutly horrible service. Apparently completely unknowledgable staff. They talked me into some premium guitar strings by daddario for $13 and when stringing the heaviest string it snapped under barely any tension. Not even 1hour after i purchased it, and they told me too bad. They talked me out of my tried and true stings to these supposedly better ones, and then doesnt even stand behind them. I have been stringing my own guitars for 15 years. Go to Kennewick or use Amazon. If they cant stand behind somerhing as simple as strings, then i cant see buying the beautiful 12 string they had in there that i was all but out the door with. Glad i did not buy here.

Helpful with picking out the right items needed to make your playing instruments enjoyable. Was our to go to place for band.
