From all that I can determine, Apria Medical Equipment practices unethical business practices, and has to be encouraging the same from their employees. In addition, blatant lies to their customers appear to be a regular, ongoing practice - from their supervisors, to their technicians as well as their office personnel! At least, I was blatantly lied to by a technician, an accounts payable employee, and by the technician’s supervisor! The technician initially called me, and asked me for a credit card account number they could keep on file for security purposes, and before they sent my c-pap machine. She further explained it was to protect themselves should I break, or not return the machine, and promised me it wouldn’t be use for any other purpose!A couple of weeks later, however, I saw a payment to Apria on my credit card transactions! I hadn’t made a payment to them, nor authorized they charge my credit card for anything (other than for purposes already mentioned)! In fact, I had not even received a statement from them, not one! So I immediately called Apria’s accounts payable department to find out what was going on. I was told the person who secured my credit card number had actually put me on “autopay”. I explained to him why I had given the technician my credit card number, and had never asked or authorized being put on “autopay”, and had not even received a statement from them as yet! He apologized, and told me he would take me off autopay, and promised it would not happen again! Then he transferred me to the technician’s supervisor as I had asked him to do. I wanted to report the technician for her blatant lie to me, and unethical behavior! Although the supervisor didn’t appear to take the technician’s behavior too seriously chuckling a couple of times, he did apologize to me, and said it would not happen again!I went to bed that night believing the situation had been rectified. However, the very next day I received an email notification from my credit card company informing me “ Apria medical equipment had made a charge transaction to my account!I really had a hard time believing after a company supervisor and accounts payable personnel both promised me no more unauthorized charges would be put on my credit card account, the very next morning another unauthorized transaction was submitted! So who is a person, a consumer, to believe and trust in this company??I decided to end my relationship with them, called to inform them of such, and asked, yet again, for a billing statement as my insurance provider reported contradictory information from what Apria had told me regarding services, etc.Yet I’ve yet receive one, and they are trying to make me put another credit card on file so they can charge it at their will, and without providing me a statement!I have never, ever worked with a company such as this! Apria appears to think they are above the law! I just wish I had some inkling of this company’s unethical and fraudulent business practices! As there are many complaints, very similar to mine, via the BBB, I don’t understand how they can still be doing business with the general public!

Apria health care is a joke first they tell me to go pick up my machine on a Friday then call and tell me to come on the following Monday. On the following Monday there is 1 clueless guy in there from a different branch that knows nothing about the machine, but hey they mailed the mask which once received was the wrong one. After calling to get it taken care of Steven was constantly trying to argue with me every step of the way and then tried to charge me a second time for what was paid at the local branch. This place should be shut down and or looked into by the BBB.

I have nothing but trouble with their on the phone ordering system. I constantly am being billed for products that should go through my insurance first and its not. Then they say they dont know my insurance carrier. It goes round and round because they lie. This is my last order from them. Also they called me this morning at 9:09 and went to voice mail because I was at work. They called my family member who is my emergency contact at 9:29 because I had not called back.** update Apria screws me again. Now its more about billing and insurance that they still have not gotten correct. Also they now have bill pay online but the statement online is not up to date. It says 132, but the operator says 434.61
