I usually think of SBros for good meat and better produce. Not this one. Still, it was clean and the associates were helpful

We normally shop at the other stores but,my husband said lets try Stater Bros. Markets. As we entered into the store we were greeted by one of the staff members, which was extremely nice. As we shopped through the store we noticed that a lot of the prices of the foods that we normally shop for were alot lower than weve been paying for. Well definitely be doing our weekly shopping here from now on. Lower prices, friendly staff, well shocked shelves and very clean store. Thats why well be shopping Yorba Linda Stater Bros. Markets ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This store is a bit dated but service is very good.

Great prices and family friendly atmosphere make this local grocery store as competitive with larger chain grocery stores.

Even though on the smaller side, Im happy with my local grocery. Has pretty much anything I need. Good service, kind folks. If I need a BD cake I go to Staters at Imperial/Rose, or Vons.

I love going to stater bros. The problem that I had with this one is you can’t get cash back unless you spend 5 dollars or more. Which is find however put I sign up that says that. how Else would I know.

One of my favorite grocery stores.I Went into the store one afternoon and was amazed the local Firefighters were making donations to a childeren Choc Charity foundation and the staff was rooting and cheering for everyone that participated. Great way to interact with customers. It really put a smile on my face.

Cashier stopped to check out a pricing issue. Really more pleasant than most.

This place is usually quite busy. Aisles are pretty tiny for navigating but they have a great selection.

Very busy very clean there was someone there to help me. I was lucky I didnt have to wait in Long in line due to because I cant not stand too long I use a cane.

My favorite full service store.

After a soccer game, I went to pickup a box of fried chicken for the team. When I arrived, I was advised the chicken would be available in 10 mins. Excited to get a fresh batch of chicken, I waited patiently.About 15 minutes later, the clerk placed old dried up chicken along with a few new pieces of chicken in two boxes. I remembered how dried up and terrible the old chicken tasted the last time -- I threw it out! It was simply not edible.I mentioned this to the clerk but he didnt listen or respond, so I decided to bring this up at the checkout. The cashier said, I agree. I had old chicken here before and it tasted awful. Let me call the supervisor. After 2 supervisors and 2 managers came forward and 30 minutes of my time wasted, I was disappointed by the lack of leadership and responsiveness.Why would they sell bad and inedible product to begin with? Why did they look at me with condensention and judgement? I was wearing a cap and t-shirt coming from the soccer field. Then the general manager insulted me with his patronizing comment. I cant give you free stuff, Ill have to charge you for the chicken.I walked out of this store and will never return to this location.First, I was there to buy chicken. I did not complain to get free product. Second, I simply wanted fresh chicken that the soccer team could eat and possibly enjoy. I didnt want to buy bad product that would eventually end up in the trash. Third, the leadership of this store desperately needs training is customer service, diversity, equity and inclusion.Ive lived in YBL for 20 years and had been a loyal customer at Stater Bros. The good news is Vons is just down the street.

I have been shopping at Stater Bros. For over 20 years. Great prices and a wonderful staff that always offers to help. I am also very grateful for the fact that every year I do the Light the Night Walk for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Stater Bros. Has always been the top contributor. Wonderful to see them giving back and supporting such a good cause.

There are two Stater Bros closer to me, but this is the one I prefer. Well organized and spacious. Everything is always in stock. Great produce, and even better meat counter. Not the place for your fancy Dutch processed cocoa powder, or your nutritional yeast supply. This is where you stock up on practical ingredients to cook fresh food that doesnt cost a fortune.

Store was clean and stocked as much as it could be. Everyone was wearing a mask and they took my cart when I was done and immediately sanitized it for the next customer. Overall it was a very good interaction and Im pleased with their protection of their employees and customers.

They started a new protocol where they don’t accept out of state IDs. I was just trying to enjoy a drink for my birthday but I have a Texas ID because I’m from Texas.

During stressful times (3/18/20) the store was clean, stocks were permitted 1 each which made sure that everyone got a share and staff courteous with assistance and guiding smooth processing for checkout. Prices were normal (as listed). Some prices were special advertised discounts - were being honored.

3 stars only because they are almost completely out of frozen vegetables bc their supplier is going out of business and they are looking for a new one. Frustrating when the only thing we went there for was stir fry veggies. Other than that our experience is great. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I only get to this one in Yorba Linda when I am out there for work, but this store (Like all Stater Brothers stores are) is always clean, well organized and the staff are very friendly, warm and welcoming to their customers.I just went in to grab some fruit and a loaf of bread, but no regular grocery store has ever beat Stater Bros. prices on anything I have ever seen that I have bought so far, nor their great customer service that all of their employees possess.

Drew S. in Deli department was a lifesaver. Me, like an idiot, waited till the last minute to start prepping for Valentines dinner with my girlfriend. I had zero idea what to do. Drew came in clutch and was super patient and very knowledgeable with getting me not only my great cuts steak. But helped me plan out an entire meal and even what wine to pair it with.People are quick to criticize but not to give a compliment. Going above and beyond what would impress most. Thanks so much for having people like Drew on your team. Another great reason why I love shopping at Stater Bros. Thank you!

Nicely laid out store and the employees are friendly. I usually find what Im looking for at a good price. The only thing I dont like about going to this store is that people are not careful as theyre driving in the parking lot. I usually park away from the front of the store.

This is a smaller location so the selection is much smaller. Half the store is dedicated to non grocery items. The store is clean and the employees seem to be happy. Have not had an issue finding someone to help. Checkout is always a reasonable wait.

Consistently lower prices than other competitors and above average customer service makes Stater Bros a great alternative to COSTCO. The meats rival COSTCO in quality and, with the exception of having only a few bulk items like honey (honey is less than the same 80 0z COSTCO size) and eggs, its great for regular purchases. This store is a bit less crowded in its design than some of the others but can still get tight, so choose times that get around the crowds. I wish it had a greater selection of items (like Wholesome Choice) but the smiles and helpfulness of everyone there makes it my go-to grocery store. That its still a home-grown store chain adds to its charm and friendliness.

This branch has been our go-to grocery store for our daily needs for more than 3 years. Unfortunately we always feel unwelcome when dealing with a couple of the cashiers. Namely Hannah & Randall. They have to be two of the most racist people Ive ever met. Randall is always chatting & happy with other people, then gives us the stink eye when we get in line (were Egyptian) & the other one, Hannah, didnt offer to help my dad with his bagging, even though he had heavy stuff to put in his bag & just stood there looking at Randall & laughing as if mocking him.We try to avoid dealing with them when we can, but in this instance they were the only ones working the register.Two stars, because everyone else is great & helpful.

Good prices and service. They lose a star because we have to buy bags now or bag our groceries ourselves with our own bags. Grocery stores have really lost customer service by doing this. Horrible, they should be ashamed.

This is our neighborhood supermarket and throughout the years the staff have been friendly and helpful. They are also one of the few stores that will open up new checkstands when the lines get long in our area. We typically choose this store over Vons which to closer to our house. Today, I went in with a broken foot trying to manage my shopping on my own. Pilar, one of the staff members, saw my struggles and went out of her way to ensure that I was able to get everything I was looking for. Thank you Pilar and thank you Stater Brothers for great service and for supporting the residents of Yorba Linda.

Love the pre-packed vegies. So easy to toss the potato-carrot-celery pack into croc pot with a roast + package dry onion soup...no prep time...5hrs later on high heat...wonderful!I will be shopping there more.

Mistakes happen and Stater Bros takes care of it. I came home to find my hot dog buns at the bottom of the bag, smashed. I was about to put dinner on and could not afford the time to go back. I called and the manager brought me a bigger bag of buns to my house down the street.I’ve been going to Stater Bros for over 30 years and even in the rare chance they disappoint, they always come through!

Typical grocery store but has a wonderful meat counter.

I asked for a 3 pound center cut filet roast. The first butcher seemed puzzled by my request, the second butcher said it would be the whole filet. They brought out the entire cut in shrink wrap. I asked him to trim it for me, and he gave me a second puzzled look. I came home with an untrimmed filet.It was my impression that Stator Brothers butchers are a cut above the rest. Not the case at this store
