While planning a kitchen renovation, my old dishwasher died, and any new one was expected a year from now. I looked at many websites and called many appliance stores, and Luis at ADU was able to find me a floor model, exactly what I wanted. He worked with me to get it here around a vacation, checked all the pictures of it to make sure there was nothing wrong, and was diligent in his follow up. I cant say enough good things about the customer service he, and ADU provided to me. Ill be back there for any other appliances that I need.

Came in to buy a washing machine. I was told someone would be out to help me. After 15 minutes of waiting alone in the showroom I left.

Putting in a bar, wanted to by a couple of high-end Perlick appliances from them. Practically had to beg to try and give them my money, but ultimately my sales person was non-responsive and otherwise uninterested in my business so I took it elsewhere. YMMV

If we could give this company more than 5 stars we definitely would! After getting the run around from a big box store and waiting months for a dishwasher only to have our order canceled, we contacted ADU. They were excellent, from the first contact to delivery. Our dishwasher arrived quickly, even sooner than expected. Fantastic service, highly recommend them to anyone needing new appliances!

My Husband went to the York, PA store, we had an appt with (Jonathan Hutton. as with any place you walk into, your immediately overwhelming and so many choices....lolHe asked what i liked first and then we will look at the first. So we did, and i will tell Jonathan knew his stuff as a salesman should. but he was very kind and patient thru the whole process. but any questions we had. he had all the answers and explained in detail. we couldnt of asked for a better person. we were very satisfied with everything, and we placed our order and cant wait to put in our new house we are building. we also purchased a washer/dryer

We ordered $20k of appliances from them in August and were to be delivered December 10 for Installation. We paid in full before delivery. One was missing and no one had an answer as to why it was missing. We have no idea when or if it will be delivered. Buyers beware!

We ended up at ADU after a bad experience with another dealer in York. We are so happy to have landed here! After 16 years we had to replace our counter depth Jenn Air fridge. We started at another dealer in York and bought almost the exact same Kitchen Aid model-it was a nightmare from the beginning. Luckily the dealer refunded our money and we headed off to ADU. From the outside the shop looks very nondescript but holy cow! You walk inside to the promised land of appliances. The showrooms are beautiful and it was so nice to get to try out all of the models we had been reading about on the internet. This time we settled on the Bosch 4 drawer. The fridge took about 4 weeks to arrive and we are so happy with the service and the fridge. We have told all of our friends about ADU!

Great customer service, good prices (cheaper than Lowes and Home Depot on Kitchen Aide appliances) and offers top of the line brands. We just ordered a whole kitchen suite for our new construction.

The one star is given to both ADU and Thermador, if shopping for luxury appliances I suggest going Wolf/Subzero if you want an entire package as we did. We feel we made a very costly (34k) mistake. So we live in Mechanicsburg and shopped LH Brubaker and ADU as a neighbor suggested. First I knew more about the appliances than the salesman at ADU but he was very nice and gave good, prompt follow up during the sale. LH Brubaker knew everything about the appliances but the guy was rude and refused to answer basic questions about pricing. So we went with ADU. What a mistake that was. First I had no idea when we were schedule for install. I called and he was like “oh yeah your scheduled on the 18th”. What if that did not work for us?? Anyway my wife moved her schedule around and then we get a call the day before saying it was a 2 day install...we were supposed to go away on Friday but again we moved our schedule around and that when the fun really started. The guys show up for day one and all kinda of prep work was supposed to be done and we had no idea about it. Some we specifically asked about such as the electric behind the fridge needing moved. And we were told nope it’s fine. So luckily for us our brother in law is a contractor who left his job site for the entire day moving everything needed to install. So we had to pay him for the day. Then they open the fridge ( completely out of their control, I get it) but one of the shelves had came lose and damaged the entire insides. The dishwasher came scratched, the Thermadore logo on the hood is half rubbed off. We also have the dimensions of where our built in Microwave was and asked if the speed oven would fit. Absolutely we where told, nope we retrofitted into our new island, unplanned. Now we have a hole in our cabinets unsure how to fill it, we discover the Thermadore built in coffee maker fits perfectly, it’s $3900 however and we just don’t want to spend that much on it. Now several more weeks go by, the ice maker didn’t work right in the freezer, the dishwasher repair guy shows up without the replacement, they have no idea where it got to, mess after mess and server all calls to and from Thermadore, no one ever calls back when they say, we’ve had to make ourselves available several more times for repairs and believe me I’m missing a few issues. Sadly in central Pa we have 2 choices bad and worse.

The only place to go when you need to purchase new appliances. The sales staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. The selection is great and customer service is outstanding.

ADU York is the best. Top of the line in displaying, sales knowledge and service. We have delt with Mark over the years and he is a solid upstanding salesman. So much more knowledgeable and professional then the red vest or orange apron clad salespeople elsewhere.

Mark was very helpful in selecting the right refrigerator. Although Home Depot and Lowes were running sales, ADUs price was the same and we got the one that we wanted. Chris and Eric delivered it at the specified time, worked carefully and were very polite. This has been pleasant experience and we will look at ADU first for any new appliance purchases.
