First time purchase of a memory foam mattress for one of my family members. I first did a chat session on their website which indicated that the store actually had some memory foam mattresses that you could lay on and test. Stephen was very helpful and patient helping us decide which type of mattress we will hopefully be comfortable sleeping on. He actually changed mattresses multiple times while we were testing firmness. Very helpful providing differences and explaining the different firmness levels and oh yes the difference in pricing. We took advantage of the sale going on and I feel we got a really good deal.

After spending weeks sleeping on a cheap mattress we had bought online, we were looking for something more comfortable. My husband and I were very pleased with our purple mattress and foundation.After about a month we noticed that the foundation had a significant sag on one side. A sleep expert from Mattress Firm in York called me and arranged a replacement foundation to be exchanged for the damaged one.Steve (Harrisburg) and Sonja (York) were prompt, courteous and efficient in solving our problem.

This young man is not only the manager of the store but also is a world class salesman that does anything he can to go above and beyond for his customers!My wife and I desperately needed a new bed. He showed us a couple of beds which were quite pricey, but when we told him that we only had a specific price point we needed to work within, he immediately set about doing everything he could to get us into the bed we needed at the price point we requested. The delivery process was quick and efficient and the product was exactly as promised. We love it! Better customer service than Ive seen in many years. I was greeted and assisted by the store manager. Young gentlemen named Dominick. To my surprise this kid was very knowledgeable, personable, and patient! Not once did he attempt the usual sales tactics to try to upsell to something I couldnt afford. I cant Express enough how pleased I was and continue to be with Mattress Firm in York and Dominick. I bought a mattress over a month ago and its just too firm. I was told to give it at least 21 days. I thought that exchanging it would be expensive and a hassle. I was surprised at the understanding I received and how easy the exchange was. He even made it clear that this was a 10 year investment and that I should be comfortable. Basically told me that well get it right. I dont think Id ever go anywhere else for a mattress.

We bought a King size #4 mattress w/ adjustable base for my wife and I in 2019 and we love it. Best bed we ever purchased together and we have tried many top end high priced beds.So now we bought a queen size “Purple” w/ adjustable base for our daughter as a birthday gift because she loves our bed and wanted one of her own. This is probably the best big box store for mattresses in York. Ask for Jim, he managed to help me find the perfect mattress and base combo to meet my medical and comfort needs while keeping it around my budget. I found what I wanted after only about an hour of looking around, and it probably wouldve taken much longer if I went to any of the 30 Mattress Warehouses in the area. Big shoutout to Jim, I hope he and the store are both there when I need a new mattress however many years from now.

When you think of salesmans, your first thought is pushy people just wanting to make a sale as fast as possible. Mike was the complete opposite. Mike Trappen was very kind and knowledgeable about their products, he gave us multiple options to choose from. He gave us great prices and even bundles that made the product better for us. He was absolutely the nicest salesman we have encountered. If you are going mattress shopping I highly suggest going here for all your needs.

Definitely a little different experience from any previous mattress shopping Ive done. They used single mattresses like off a bookshelf for my daughter to try. Pulling them in and out onto a bed frame. Very informative staff and not pushy.

I was so happy with Jenny at mattress firm sales person. She had me try several beds and the adjustable frame.She was pleasant and easy to talk to.It was by far the best experience with mattress firm in the past 2 years.The first bed I bought was a single bed.Which I was happy with but it was too small.I went back to mattress firm for a full size bed with adjustable frame.I am in love with this bed and frame.I returned a few days later to pay off my mattress while there a young man helped me chose a sheet set. He recommended the purple sheet set that fit my bed. He let me feel the sheets and puck out a color that I wanted. They fit my bed perfectly. They stretch and do not slip off while Im using the adjustable settings. My only regret is the color. I should have picked a lighter shade. But the selections they had I wasnt happy with. I will go back and purchase another set in the future. Highly recommend the sheet set for anyone that is thinking of purchasing a new mattress.Delivery was on time the persons delivered the bed set up the frame to my satisfaction.The delivery and set up was extremely perfect. The men were pleasant and made the height of the frame exactly as I requested.They came in our apartment which had 17 steps they had to climb up with everything. Then I was given a quick guide on how to use the remote.Friendly and efficient gentlemen.I was very pleased with the delivery they came on time set up and left in about 40 minutes.I love Mattress Firm and the store I choose from the past purchase. My wife and I just moved to our new home. We needed a new bed and had visited a number of furniture stores in the York, Pa area. Not happy with the time frame of delivery they had been giving us, we decided to go to Mattress Firm. Upon entering, we were greeted and told to feel free and look around. Both salesman ( Dominic and Mike(I hope I got that right)) were friendly and welcoming. It wasA no pressure atmosphere and they were knowledgeable and answered all our questions. They said they were able to deliver in 2days that made us extremely happy as the other stores were 2 weeks or more. Overall, they are very professional, and I highly recommend dealing with them.

Dominick was fantastic. I just dropped in and had a big order of 4 mattresses and bowstring because we were moving. He was able to help me greatly so that I could pick up everything that same day and have me a great deal on my purchase! He is very friendly and knowledgeable. This place is so much better than Mattress Warehouse! Better prices too!

Mattress warehouses have historically, for me, been labyrinths of proprietary buzzwords and indiscernible features on spongey junk that I can’t be bothered to care about. They have, until May 16th, been on par with shady used car dealerships and door to door knife sales from pitiable college students, assuming the sales associates knew anything that wasn’t in bold on the literature in the first place. For this reason and others, including apprehension around doubletalk in “bed in a box” return policies, I have avoided doing anything about my poor sleep for the better part of 9 months.Jenny T is the best sales associate I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with either as a consumer or as a business across a decade of experience. She is knowledgeable, patient, an active listener, and able to anticipate your needs where you may fail to communicate them as I did. I think Mattress Firm does a fine job of providing a variety of options, but they’d all be veritable morass of SKUs in a shopping center without someone like Jenny to ask the right questions to help me navigate my own mattress buying experience.She was able to autocomplete my clumsy explanations of a mattress I barely remembered seeing.She gave me space when my partner and I needed space.She was congenial and convivial the whole way through, and at no point was I scared to disappoint her in the weird manipulative way that so many commission based sales associates have managed to make me feel.I learned more in 20 minutes about mattresses than I was able to learn in 6 months of agonizing over promotional material.This person changed my cynical perception of an industry I had written off entirely with nothing more than a generous helping of her time and bedside manner. If she can do this, then as far as i’m concerned, she can do anything, and you’ll be very lucky to get her assistance in sorting out your sleep stuff (Saturday-Wednesday) before another exceptional opportunity finds her.

Weve purchased two beds from here. The service is always helpful but not pushy. We bought a Purple mattress two years ago and just purchased a new mattress for our guest room. Mike was very helpful and balanced multiple customers well. Checkout was quick and easy. We were in and out in less than an hour. Delivery times and fees were so reasonable. Only a week for delivery ($50). Theyre very professional and come on time for delivery as well . Theyll take your old mattress away, too. They have our business for as long as theyre in business.
