Great place to find items for the house yard and do it yourself at very reasonable prices. typically it’s excess material from contractors or homeowners who had extra material. Ive returned frequently for numerous DYI projects since materials here are a fraction of the big box prices.

It was a okay place to work. The idea behind selling used furniture was great and very noble. Sometimes the employees would spend more time discussing their personal life instead of assisting customers. Overall it was just a okay place to work definitely had its flaws in certain aspects.

Great place to donate cabinets or find them on the cheap. All types of hardware and misc household goods, microfiber rags on the cheap, random paint and other treasures.

I was very disappointed. I thought I could get some flooring for my small bedrooms and they were asking $85 a box. It was only 22 sq ft per box. These are donationed items and that was just ridiculous! Paint is not organized at all. Employees not very helpful. They need to do a better job.

Have some decent stuff from time to time..but the younger girl who is in charge of pricing the free donated items is pretty much brain dead and doesnt know the value at all..some thing that were used were 3 times the price of brand new at big box stores..greed doesnt terrible things to a place that has potential. Example 160 bucks for a harbor mist ceiling fan..priced 39 bucks at lowes..um. really?

The things they have are constantly rotating in and out, so if you see it and want/need it dont expect it to be there next week let alone the next day. Staff is friendly and the prices are great.

Needed an old door and I knew Resource York would have it. The only reason I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 star rating is because everything is donated and the prices are way too high. Years ago it wasnt like that. Who profits from these sales? Can someone tell me so I dont have to research it. Thanks.

This place is hit-or miss depending on what they have going on..(Habitat for Humanity) but it should definitely be one of your first stops if you are working on something around the house on a budget!

Re-Source York is an excellent store for finding items to restore or upgrade your home. Sometimes I might find an antique item like a medicine chest and towel racks that fit in well with a bathroom remodeling I was doing. I also found lighting that looks like it just came out of the box. I shop there when I can because I never know what I might find. An item thats not made any more or something new. The prices are great too.

This is a simple experience, much like browsing a junk warehouse. They have okay pricing on most items, some items Ive found are cheaper new at big box stores, but there is very little service and no knowledge about the products. They are very polite and will help you move things to your vehicle.

They have donated items to sell and its a good resource but give no discounts to the population that comes from same agency who have no funds and may need a bed dresser etc.

I am from Maryland and we ALWAYS WENT TO RESTORE WHICH IS BASICALLY THE SAME! GREAT BUYS! ANYTHING FROM NAILS AND SCREWS, TO CURTAINS TO DISHWASHERS AND LIGHTING! SO CHEAP...GREAT PRICES!!! ME AND MY HUBBY GO ALL THE TIME before home depot or LOWES! LOVE IT!!!

Donate here... Its a great program. You donate building material that you no longer need and these folks give it a second chance at life and keep it out of the landfill.

Youre better off buying at lowes or homedepot prices are better at the store then this place!

Tons of materials available. Dont always have exactly what Im looking for, but so much available that inspires new projects at deep discounts.

I love the variety...my main drawback is that many things are simply overpriced...you can still find good deals and needed items for your projects.

The entire place smells like cat piss.A lot of the things are overpriced and you have to wait for the sales. $1000 for damaged old particle board cabinets. (Hey Resource; they don’t gain value over time) Plus they smelled like cat piss.Staff is very nice.

This is a great place to pick up a needed tool or hardware for a project, I recommend stopping here before heading to the home improvement stores.
