Always friendly and quick when I go in. Love coming to this pharmacy!
I call here and no one ever picks up the phone. I think they turn off their ringer so they dont have to deal with anyone. I wanted to get the fax number so I could update my husbands insurance. I want all this done before we come to get it. This is very poor service. You should be able to speak to someone if you have questions or concerns. I would give 0 stars if I could. Straighten up Walmart!!! 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
This pharmacy is always good with their customers. One thing to make sure of is make sure you are getting the cheapest price. Goodrx, an app, is very helpful to get at least half off of medications. I only found out about this app through a Walmart pharmacy employee who was very helpful and understood my troubles for paying for medications w/o insurance. A couple times I have had to banter with an employee to make sure I got the price I had been paying before, but most of the employees there are nice and helpful.
Its really frustrating when you drop a prescription off, they look at your prescription, and tell you to come back in an hour. You show up in an hour, and they tell you they dont have one of the two medicines you need. What if one of them was a life saving medicine. There should be a law that requires them to check to see if they have a medicine in stock before they tell you to come back in an hour to get your prescriptions.
I went here for the first time, to save some money. Well that was a huge mistake. Girl was so very rude. Acted like she didnt even want to wait on me. Told me my script wasnt there, had to go to other counter. Well then other lady said, it is in there. Dont know what that girls problem was, but I wont be back. And Im contacting Walmart about her.
Absolute nightmare getting my meds refilled my doctor sent the orders twice... And Im still waiting... I will be switching pharmacists.. Not worth the anxiety of the wal mart zoo
Not a fan of this pharmacy pretty sure the ppl working here are bipolar or I’ve just had mixed experiences. Legitimately had to stand and wait to even hand my prescription because the person at drop off sounded like they were basically talking to a friend then was rude to me because I said excuse me? Not to mention the line is usually backed up out into the isle. Walgreens is right across the street and will treat you with the respect and urgency you require. The staff at Walgreens are really friendly. It only gets a two star instead of one because well it is a Walmart super center.
Ive used wal mart pharmacies for years and this one is unusually rude, even hostile as my local doctor put it when he was describing the pharmacy manager. This pharmacy jerked me and my doctor around for almost a week on a prescription that I needed and after telling me to come back once again they ended up giving my prescription back. I am a regular and reasonable guy. There was no cause or reason for the way they treated me AND my doctor. This lead to my doctors office asking patients to avoid wal mart east york pharmacy. I am avoiding wal mart in general. I took the same prescription to a rite aid Ive never used before late on a Sunday, they filled it promptly and without question. No waiting, no calling the doctor to hassle or argue with him. Never again.
