The sales experience was pretty good. Friendly enough staff not pushy and able to answer questions. Kinda obvious they’re on commission however. The post sales experience has been a nightmare. 6 to 8 weeks for product deliver has turned into 4 months of waiting with no communication about what’s going on with our items. Any calls In the quest for an update have been useless and short with basically just a response of “they’re coming eventually”. If they have something you want in stock I’d say go for it and get what you need but if it’s not in stock go somewhere else because you’re just spending your hard earned money in the hope of eventually getting it someday far far far away.

So far, so good. Great experience with sales staff. Great prices for the quality. We werent followed around until we were ready. They answered our questions. A few other stores either stalked us or made the experience uncomfortable. I will update this review when we get our furniture. We were advised 6 to 8 weeks and we are doing delivery. Itll be about a week after we officially move in but were willing to deal with that. :)EDIT: I dropped it one star. We are still waiting on our sofa set and nightstands for our bedroom set. When I called for updates after the 6 weeks - it went well except they didnt have all of our pieces and they didnt have us set up for delivery. From my review above - it was supposed to be. She asked if we wanted part of it now that was in and set up delivery for the next day. This was a couple weeks ago. Great!(We paid a delivery fee) We didnt discuss the remaining pieces or ensure that it was delivery set up, my fault. Now, Im trying to call for updates and to make sure they have it as delivery and nobody is answering, voice mail is full. Im hoping its just a really busy day. I also understand that furniture stores have some delays right now, hence why I only dropped it one star. Other than these minor things, all awesome customer service when I do speak with someone.

If I could give O stars I would! I will never buy another couch from this place. Took 4 months to actually get them. The showroom couch quality Is different from what we got. What we have is not that comfortable and gave me neck problems. Do not try and save a few bucks with this place, definitely not worth it. Lesson learned!! Go somewhere else!!!!!

I purchased the GBS warranty from them and am supposed to be getting a full replacement. One person told me the product was discontinued, and that I can’t pay the difference for what would hopefully be a better couch. Now their voicemail is full and the phone goes straight to voicemail. This is the only way I have to reach out to them to get a resolution. Why can’t I just pay extra? Why would I want the same thing when it didn’t last 2 years?

Staff were nice. Process was fairly easy. But, there were many hidden fees, especially with their no credit check financing. Understand exactly what youre signing up for before agreeing to the financing and you may walk away with a decent customer experience..

My husband and I were very happy with the customer service that Dakota and Justin gave us when looking for new living room furniture. We always avoid it, because we cant stand being followed around a store as were trying to look. Dakota and Justin asked if we needed help one time, after that they let us look around and didnt bother us. And the affordable price on the furniture is a bonus!

COUCH BROKE IN 3 MONTHS after normal everyday use in a 4 person HH. Part of the frame popped out through the leather, and the cushions (both back & seat) are worn down. The furniture is definitely POOR quality so if you’re looking for something that will last for a few years, don’t shop here. The sales associate was polite and professional, however the manager and the experience were horrible. The manager (who I presumed to be a manager due to the boss, desk plaque) was RUDE. She didn’t attend to us despite her not being preoccupied and having no one else to wait on. There were a few eye rolls when we were patiently and politely inquiring about our furniture delivery slot. The warranty is through GBS Enterprises but you have to call GBS unless you know who the furniture manufacturer is ahead of time. Also, they shouldn’t list delivery details as part of their policy because they use an outside delivery company. You contact and pay the delivery company as a separate transaction and then solely do business with them or make your own arrangements.

Save yourself some time an start here. We drove around for hours looking at furniture stores this weekend an we seriously should of just started here. Leaving with the sectional we wanted ordered. Can’t beat the prices.. we found the same sectional at other stores for 50-60% more. These people treat you like family and don’t act like your just a sale. Delivery is available for a delivery charge which is the same everywhere you go. They have plenty to choose from Here you shouldnt need to go anywhere else.

Bought furniture years ago and lasted over 12 years but not made like that anymore. Delivered quality not as good as showroom quality. Bought couch and love seat feels like theyre stuffed with scrap materials and some sharp edges which I think are staples. Theyre not even a year old and staples are coming out, so I guess next the material will be coming apart from the frames. Very poor quality.

My couch is falling apart. The leather is peeling back, rough, and scratches up our skin. I’ve owned the couch for a year and 2 months. When I purchased the furniture, it was highly recommended I purchase the $129.99 5 year warranty, as it covered ALL damage done to the couch for the time it is covered. I contacted the store, and was referred to GBS, the people who service the warranty claims. I was denied as it is “normal wear and tear”. They referred me back to the store. Upon calling, the service manager “Brandon” continuously advised me unfortunately there was nothing that could be done, other than myself hiring an outside party to fix it. I asked if I could purchase the cushion covers separately since they were unable to hold to their word, and he stated maybe if I look online or something. Very unhelpful as I paid A LOT of money, and have 5 children who will now have to sit on the floor until Mommy can save up enough money for a new one, from a company with more integrity and class. Please do not make the mistake of purchasing their furniture. But furthermore, if you do please record the entire conversation. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. They will lie to you, and will provide no helpful alternatives while they drain your pockets. Shameful.

FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!I decided to accept the challenge based on the signs they have posted in store as well as online that read LOWEST price in PA OR freeI found a lower price on a couch set at a local store, so I went to discount king and questioned about the sign posted multiple places, I was told that the item had to be the exact same and approched the not so friendly manger Brandon who asked to see this add and explained it need to be the same exact item. I showed the ad and then was asked to send it to him in email without question I did as asked. He was then on the phone with whom I assume is now the regional manger, all huffy and puffy he walks off leaving his staff asking how they are suppose to complete the order. The girls that were assisting myself and boyfriend all were under the assumption this was now a free purchase with only needing to pay taxes and delivery. Pretty cut and dry I found a lower price my purchase should be free per the signs!Heres the kicker the not so friendly rude manger then informed all of us that we needed to pay for the couch set but they were going to beat the price of the other store... NO where in any conversation with myself or his employees was this stated, he was more worried about changing the price!!I have shopped here in the past but never again!False advertisement and rude manger!!!

If I could give negative stars I would. This place sucks. My husband and I walk in to look at mattresses, we get a hello as we walked in the door and that was it. No help what so ever after that, the girl at the desk seemed like she was trying to make herself look busy just so no one would bother her. Also you have to be careful you dont fall and break a leg, the floor in there is so uneven.

I read bad reviews about this place and was skeptical about purchasing from them. First of all when I went to the store in York the female manager was dancing in a tight red dress and the two male sales employees were sitting on the sofa. Something told me then I was in the wrong place but I made s purchase anyway. My delivery was supposed to be today, I was given a window of 10-12 had to miss work cause that was a lie. Called the store and was lied to.

As a first time visitor, I was impressed with the affable and knowledgeable staff that went through their descriptions of stock with an honest level of credibility.

If i could give negative stars i would. I bought furniture April of 2017. I purchased the warranty and was approved through the warranty company in August. It is not December and is till have no furniture that was approved by the warranty company. The lady in customer service is very rude, and not responsive at all to phone calls or emails. Very unprofessional environment. I would never allow someone i know to go through what i have had to deal with from this company. Very upset with this company.

I think its HILARIOUS how people say theyve had such bad service. Carlisle pa store was amazing to me and my boyfriend, we were approved for 1200 based on the credit. So we got stuff, nothing at all was damage. I had barely any interest rate and hassle. People were very friendly at carlisle store and Im definitely coming back tomorrow to get more merchandise.

It took them 7 weeks to get my couch and then it was damaged now they want me to go without for 3 more weeks I will never do business with them again

I purchased a mattress for $700 and I was offered a plan through my credit to where I could get the furniture that day and pay on it every other week well it’s past the 90 days I paid over $800 on this mattress and they don’t tell you that after that 90 days you get charged five dollars a day for interest so in other words you will never be able to get a head and Pay off the furniture I will be paying on a mattress that cost $700 until 2020 and I would have paid over $3000 for this mattress that is ridiculous and if I was told that when I purchased that mattress I would have never purchased that mattress and to make matters worse on top of it they’re telling me that I can’t even give the mattress back to avoid having to make those payments and pay over $3000 for mattress I would never get anything from this company again

Staff was friendly however the merchandise was damaged. Got an exchange, exchange piece was damaged as well. After spending $30 in gas making 2 trips in with a truck, finally got a refund approved only to have to take off work to go into the store to process the refund. Ive never experienced a company that requires you to make a special trip to the store to get a refund for a defective product. Now Im out $40 in gas, plus taking an hour off work to get a refund processed for something I dont even have. Will certainly never shop there again.

I completed a lease 2 days to get my furniture and now they are saying that they dont have that available and confused on how your system works. This is the 2nd time Ive gone thru this and never get the furniture i want because of the way everything works. Something needs to be done for your customers. Its not fair that yous tell your customer that this product is going to be delivered and then to get a call saying the product you ordered is not available. How can your company even strive. When yous tell your customer one thing and cant even follow thru. How is that fair to a customer financing. How are we different from someone paying cash for your furniture. Something needs to be done so that customers can get what they REALLY want not there 2nd options or something else because yous are not dependable and follow thru with what yous really said.

I will never buy from this place again. I wouldnt recommend buying from this place. Ordered special sectional couches and was told max 3 weeks its been over a month and a half still waiting. Spoke to a customer svcs supervisor and told me the truck will arrive Thursday I called the store they said Friday. Apparently they just care about getting the purchase done and dont care about anything else. Anywhere else price matches avoid going to this store at all cost too bad they dont allow 0 stars or negative stars. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere

This has been the worst experience I have ever had buying furniture in the york area. So I go here to buy new furniture, to begin with I am ignored for about a half an hour before anyone decides to help me, that should have told me not to shop there but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I purchase the furniture and ask for it to be delivered in 2 weeks to make sure they had it all. Delivery day comes and goes, and still no furniture, but they promise it will be delivered by a certain time the next day. That comes and goes. All I can say is dont buy furniture here, save yourself the headache.

This place shouldn’t get any stars. Bad customer service all and all. Cannot do job correctly. Gave us the wrong size box springs. For the price we paid I could have gone and gotten a real bed frame and mattress instead of a cheap metal frame. Really not a discount king at all!! Won’t recommend to anyone.

If I could give the place zero stars believe I would! I did a layaway for two bunkies and a dinning table. The girl that works there told me as soon I paid it off I could pick up my merchandise, it hasnt been in a layaway for even a week, I paid it off, she tells me she has nothing in the warehouse but on Saturday it would all be here for sure. Saturday comes and I only have my bunkies. The guy that helped me out told me Monday my table would be there for sure!! Monday comes so I called in to make sure, the same ignorant girl talks to me and tells me first week of March! Their employees are very unprofessional and disorganized. Here I am waiting on a table thats been paid for! Do not recommend!!!

Poor quality furniture. Was supposed to get a new futon it was used and rusty and the pieces were not all there. Customer service really sucked AFTER I received my item that I waited a week for and picked up myself because delivery is insane even tho I am only located a very short distance from there.
