We ordered cellular shades for our master bedroom with a focus on sound dampening and room darkening. Susie was able to work with us on finding a material we liked at an affordable price and recommending the best product for our needs.The installer (Nate) did an absolute fantastic job - he installed the hardware with longer screws for safety (and painted the screw heads to match), and steam-pressed the draperies after install. He also answered our questions as we went along and set our expectations every step of the way.

Suzie, Ashley, and Steve are an incredible team of design professionals at Furniture Finesse in York, PA. Ashley came to my charming Craftsman Cottage house and gave the room a look, took measurements, brought color samples, and then one week later, she had pictures for examples of furniture and ideas toward updating our living room. Ashleys design partner, Steve, was in and out of the house in just one week. He repainted the dining room/living room; removed the generic ready made chair rail and designed, built and installed new chair rail in the dining room that more closely matched the Arts & Crafts style of our home; white washed the brick fireplace and installed wood (like shiplap) above our fire place. He brought his electrician to install the LED lighting above the fireplace (another smart update). He repainted the charming leaded glass windows on both sides of fireplace. Steves attention to detail is impecable. All aspects of costs were discussed up front and maintained. Ashley even brought a few design pieces from the showroom for us to try in our home before purchase. All calls were immediately returned. Top Notch, personal, and professional!

We purchased Hunter Douglas shades in two rooms. I noticed a defect on the top balance of 1 shade within the first week after installation. I emailed Susie over the weekend. By Monday, I received a call from Susie that blinds will be replaced. The customer service is excellent and I will be making future purchases here!

Extremely helpful finding a special item I needed to replace the pull cord for a vertical blinds rod. The staff was very generous with time and materials even though I was not interested in buying new hardware.

We bought Hunter Douglas blinds for our home at Furniture Finesse and are very happy with our experience. Susie was very a big help in picking things out and Colin installed everything very professionally. The one issue we had was with the Hunter Douglas Hub which controls the power blinds. There were more than a few issues getting everything working however Susie was very responsive and worked with us until everything worked perfectly. Great quality and customer service, thanks Susie!

Beautiful showroom and the best service Ive ever received in a furniture store. I could have stayed there for hours looking at the lovely collections. They have everything! We purchased a lovely glider for our babys nursery and they made it so easy to select the fabric and other options and answered all of our questions. This was my first visit to Furniture Finesse but I think I have found a gem! Ill be back and send everyone I know who is looking for some exceptional, beautiful, quality pieces for their home.

I contacted Furniture Finesse & Susie Mummert, the owner happened to to take my call. A Hunter Douglas blind that I had for a very long time had delaminated & I was anticipating purchasing a replacement. Susie told me to bring the blind in and informed me that it might be under warranty. She contacted Hunter Douglas and explained the situation to them & confirmed that it was covered under their warranty. A replacement was ordered & shipped at no charge to me.I was very impressed with Hunter Douglas and blown away by the customer service provided to me by Susie & Furniture Finesse. This is the BEST furniture store for quality custom furniture and Hunter Douglas window treatments for many miles around. All the chain furniture stores seem to have people standing around just waiting for your order and more often than not people end up with cheap made junk that isnt right for their home, doesnt look right or doesnt last. At Furniture Finesse, I was treated to something you dont find often, excellent customer service. Very pleased with the furniture and have sent many people there who say the same. They have the knowledge to assist with choosing from their hundred of fabrics and styles. Dont be fooled by the location, take a look inside and be blown away by the choices. This is a family owned store with up to the minute styles combined with old fashioned service. I love these type of establishments and try to support independent local businesses especially when they are head and shoulders above the big box furniture stores.
