Jerry is beyond nice! I chose his guitar shop because of the good reviews I read and he did not disappoint. Not only did he assist me with selecting the right Electric guitar for my six-year-old son, he also threw in a free guitar strap as well as a Teach Yourself To Play Guitar book.The small amp I purchased only cost me $30 and although its used, it works extremely well.He was patient with me and answered ALL of my questions. He also told me that I could bring the guitar back to be retuned if necessary (because I have no idea what Im doing). Sure enough, my son untuned the guitar during his exploration process and I was back a Jerrys store two days after purchase. Just as he promised, he tuned the guitar, we shared a couple of laughs and I was out the door.I recommend this establishment to anyone interested in quality service. 😊

This is one of the best if not the best place to get a guitar. I am new to playing and when I went to see jerry for the first time he was not interested in just selling me a guitar! He was more interested in making sure that it was the one I wanted. So I ended up buying a schecter diamond series c-1 standard. I am 100% satisfied with his customer service! And I will be buying more guitars off of him in the future.

Although I have never actually purchased anything from the store, I feel this it is relevant to post. Last Friday we came into town from Cincinnati for my grandfather’s funeral to be held the next morning. My wife was asked to sing at the funeral, something that meant the world to my grandmother.(but my wife was nervous about) The song my grandmother requested was “I will remember you” by Sarah Mclaughlin. Well my wife was initially trying to sing without music without success. Then tried to sing to an instrumental version on CD, however this was not sounding good as once she got a little off tempo the CD just kept going. Well we decided at 6 PM the night before to make a desperate attempt to find someone who could play that song to accompany her. She really didn’t want to let my grandma down. Well we tried music teachers, but couldn’t get a hold of anybody at that late hour. As a last chance we decided to try a few music stores. The first one we called was Jerry Duncan’s guitars on George. Jerry was very sympathetic to our situation and offered to help even though it meant opening his shop late the day of the funeral. We went down there to practice and it sounded wonderful. He is very talented. He worked with my wife and even brought in a buddy to play harmonica with Jerry on guitar. They were so wonderful, and even though actual performance didn’t go as planned, as her emotions got the better of her. They helped her thru it by playing on and allowing her time to get a few relatives up there to support her. Though it did not go perfect, did mean a great deal to my grandmother. The professionalism, compassion, and helpfulness shown by Jerry to my family was just astounding, and If he runs his store with half of what he showed us you can’t go wrong. Thanks Jerry, from my whole family.

I highly recommend this store to anybody. I just bought a guitar there today, a Samick Greg Bennett Avion, with a Les Paul body and it looks and plays beautiful. I got it at a great price that i couldnt pass up. The owner of the shop is awesome, friendly and seems to really know his stuff. He has a great selection of guitars, amps and everything of any brand. This place is way better then those big chain music stores. A perfect example of how great local small business should be and should be supported. He even through in a strap and gig bag, along with picks found in the bag. I highly recommend this place and i will be a repeat customer. This place actually respects the customers and music. He even sells guitars for kids to start on. So if your in the market for that go here, for any musicians need this is it. Even has got classic guitars, and i mean orginal. Thank you for this great guitar and service.
