Polaris manufactured my replacement windows for my house. They likely have a good product, but they have manufacturing issues. Most of my new replacement windows look like the pictures below. Someone put finger print lines all over the windows. Unfortunately, they have been cleaned by every product known and still look the same (glass cleaner, degreaser, dawn dish soap, organic solvents, etc). They have also been scrubbed, soaked and buffed with electronic equipment and still look the same. Unless there is some magic way to clean the new windows, then they are marking the inside of the glass before they assemble. Sorry, but not something I wanted to pay all my money on just to look out my windows everyday and see finger streaks.

We had Polaris windows install by Airko in RR Ohio.. The widows fog up on the outside-- we can not see out. Both Polaris ad Airko Have not offered a reason---the other windows in 20 other houses did not do this. The same window was better constructed than the installed window.. Polaris is having labor issues and we are afraid that the window are defective. All we are asking is proof that the windows are not defective.. NO one will help n us

Poor engineering. Paid quite a bit of money to treat myself and have blinds inside the windows. However, even with what I paid they are tilt only and the device to tilt the windows is located on the outer window so that the screen needs to be removed any time I want to open or close the blinds. The screens when in place are not snug and have cracks. The windows look nice.

We have been installing Polaris Windows for over 15 years. We order on a regular basis ThermaWeld Plus double hung and slider windows. Ive been installing Polaris Windows and Doors for years. My customers and my installers love these windows! Their customer service is also 5 STAR QUALITY!

I would not give a star at all, but have to in order to post this comment. I am not one to write reviews. Typically, try and move on if not happy with the product. However, we had 19 ThermaWeld Plus windows installed in 2017. This has been the worst purchase we have made. Our old windows were warmer and kept noise out. These windows are thin and are horrible at keeping at noise reduction. When you spend money to enhance your home, you want it to be worth the money. I would not recommend these windows to anyone. Very frustrated!!

I ordered the glass for my window ahead of time. It was reasonably priced. When it came in, i made an appointment and drove to their facility and they installed it free of charge. It only took about 20 minutes and they provided me with some great coffee while I waited. Great experience!

1-star period. In January 2019 they switched their casement window hardware from good quality Truth hardware to Acme -- and they know it. Trust me, Acme is not better. They know its inferior and can come to my house to see for themselves. I actually had 7 windows installed in 2018 and they used good metal latching hardware, better handles, and Truth crank hardware. I am satisfied with these windows. Lets see how long the seals last.However, 2 months later, In 2019, I ordered a set for the front of the house - it included a large 3 panel casement, 8 singles casements, 2 picture windows, and 2 double casements. After install I looked at the windows very carefully and noticed they switched from Truth to Acme hardware, used plastic latching hardware, and noticed the handles were not designed properly. The new handles rub on the plastic housing and scrape the paint away on the metal crank. Come out an look at them compared to the old ones.Furthermore, I had several single unit triple pane casement windows installed. In the same location on each of these windows the frame is stress cracked - about 1 to 2 inches long running diagonally. Water can get in this crack and Im worried it will spread. I can send pictures - I have 4 windows like that. Their machines were likely not calibrated correctly and this resulted in a consistent stress point on the frame. It was not an install issue either. I had a very good installer.What am I supposed to do - live with it? Id like a full refund for all these windows with a cracked frame and Id like hardware like it got with my batch from 2018. While your at it swap out the Acme cranks with the nice Truth ones. Overall - Im not a satisfied customer, and I believe Polaris cheapened up their quality to save money. My window rep tried multiple times to contact them and we are getting no response--- So you get terrible marks for customer service too.Dont give me some number to call or letter to right -- or some B.S. about were sorry and were not aware of the issue. Look my name up in your database and call me and remedy this situation. Furthermore, I think your Google reviews are a sham. A year ago you had 1 star on Google now you have 4 stars with raving reviews. Get real.

The energy products that we have purchased for our customers has gotten us great reviews and word of mouth has spread and lifted our sales. The staff is always helpful especially with any questions or warranties issues. I would recommend this company for any homeowner or business.

I bought a house with Polaris windows that were recently installed (2017). The windows look nice but do not seem to keep the winter weather outdoors. Since we didn’t purchase the windows ourselves we have no idea how cheap they were. It might be an installation issue or just a poor product. Tried to contact customer support about the condensation issue and was sent an informational pamphlet. Looks like I will have to buy an ice scraper to use on my Polaris windows this winter! Buyers beware!

If you want a quality product look no further! The time and craftsmanship that goes into their windows is amazing! Not to mention their energy efficiency is outstanding.

Absolutely junk windows. They are completely falling apart after 7 years and half of them are filled with water in between the panes. Emailed the company months ago and have never received a response. Spend a little more and get quality products.

We have been selling Polaris windows and doors for quite awhile now. People love them! They sell themselves. Ive had zero problems with ordering, shipment dates, shipping breakage, or anything else. They are a great company that has been around for a long long time and they arent going anywhere anytime soon. Neither are we, and I see us having a very long relationship. If you are in the market for windows, or sell vinyl windows, I urge you to give them a call. Our sales rep has actually made the drive to help train our sales people a couple times, that has been more helpful than words can express!!Great company to work with, and great products and people!

My Polaris window cracked after 18 months. Polaris is sending a replacement window. However, I have to pay for the labor.There are many other internet complaints of Polaris windows cracking. I do not recommend there product.I had Alside and Anderson windows on previous homes. I did not have problems with those brands.I contacted Polaris through the link they provided. They did not respond.The third party quote to replace the glass is $300.

We had Polaris triple pane windows installed 2 years ago. We found out the middle pane in one window broke with both outside panes intact. So it can’t have been human influence. We are guessing it was a manufacture defect. When we called the company, they at first said that glass is not covered under warranty. Understandably glass can be broken due to customers fault or by accident. In the end we negotiated with the company that they would replace the window glass which they did. It helps to write reviews!

The quality of their products has been going downhill for the last year. They really need to get the quality control under wraps.

I custom ordered a huge three piece window for the front of my house, a patio slider, and a couple other smaller windows. Everything arrived to size and installation was a breeze. I purchased a house with newer Polaris windows 3 years ago. They look and function like nice windows but thats it. Every single window in the entire house is Polaris, and every single window in the entire house leaks. Some leak a little, some leak a lot, but every single window in the entire house leaks. Completely trash product.....do not buy.

Horrible experience in talking with the area rep that covers Wisconsin. Obnoxious and arrogant. Wanted to talk to someone about Polaris windows in general. He referred a company that sells a private label window made by Polaris and which doesnt sell any of the lines Polaris manufactures. Tried to get a hold of Polaris again and the request goes right back to this guy who then said he doesnt understand what I wanted. The conversation went downhill from them when he disregarded my needs and defended this referred company who doesnt even sell the windows I was inquiring about. Polaris - get a new rep!

Absolute terrible worksmanship!!! The windows came with glue all over the panes and the frames were cracked and busted. They need to get rid of the Temps they hire there an actually hire some workers who care about their work and the products being shipped to customers. Never ordering from here again!

Purchased a Polaris front door. Told it was maintenance free. It is not. Have had it 5 months and the paint is coming off and they didn’t send the correct trim either. DO NOT BUY THESE DOORS TERRIBLE QUALITY AND NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Had Polaris Ultraweld windows installed almost 9 years ago. My heating bills dropped over 30%, they look great and I havent had a single issue. My contractor only buys Polaris because of the quality of their products and I have to agree.

Do not buy Polaris windows poor quality, and scratched I was told by a Polaris representative who came out that I was to picky! I told him this is my home not a flip, order was incorrect in September 2017 Im still waiting its now January 2018. Every time they send the order its wrong!!!! DONT BUY POLARIS VINEL WINDOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im so very dissatisfied, 13 windows ruined!! They are not even rated for Ohio according to the label that was on them. I was told that it was an error. Yeah right how many people cant do there job correctly!

My complaint is not about the windows. It is the customer service I reached when having a problem getting one of my windows closed after cleaning it. I actually talked to two women within 15 minutes and it is a toss up as to which one was the most unhelpful, argumenatiarg and rude to me . It is possible they were having an in office competition. In the end I was more upset from dealing with them than the fact I couldnt get the window closed .I ended up calling the gentleman who had installed the windows. He owns his own business and resolved the problem. The customer service at Polaris is in need of massive improvement. I will no doubt remember this POOR service for a long time😟

Junk... the units we installed several years ago were poorly made, the windows wont stay up, the balance system that inserts on the sides are broken with no simple way to replace them... not recommended.12/13/17 UPDATE: Almost one month since I contacted Polaris Window, they were to send repair parts to local distributor so I could make repairs at my expense. After multiple email follow-ups they still have not shipped the parts and denied my warranty claim. Avoid Polaris Window & Doors if you have any other options>>> poor product, lousy warranty and worse service!

As a consumer, Do not buy these windows. We have had two break, not be hit or anything just break. The glass is covered under warranty, but I will have to pay a contractor to replace the window, or pay to have it sent with a sash. I just got off the phone with Michelle at their customer service and I have never been treated so rudely. The fact that factory direct sold me these windows also means I wont be doing business with them either.

They are the most expensive junk windows you will ever buy and the worst part of the deal is the warranty they charge a ridiculous service call fee even though the problem originated with the shotty manufacturing......so as a whole.....its a junk window with a junk lifetime warranty.
