Received flu shot at Giant Eagle Pharmacy on Boardman Canfield Rd. Everyone was so nice. Very little wait-time. Very efficient process.

My visit to Giant Eagle was great! There is always a great selection of supplies, grocery, and produce. And most of all, the prices are reasonable. I went to the store onRoute 224 in Boardman, Ohio.

I had a good shopping experience and then the gentleman who rounds the carts up in the parking lot gave me a hand loading my car.

Giant eagle here was way over priced. Had a nice produce selection, a small meat variety section. No staff to help to u check out. All in all this giant eagle is not good.

Very good grocery shop with a lot of polish kielbasa types and other European products. You can find here also many American products in discount prices. Also fresh food and deli departments have quality Italian products for a reasonable prices.

Best of the best. Also a online rating of 5 of 5. Best for the Boardman area.

Regrettably, it would seem that most employees do not care anymore.Several employees of 10-30 years have all said the same thing when asked why their Giant Eagle store is so unsanitary? ;in effect, they all seem to respond that corporate doesnt give Boardman locations enough labor hours or employees to do the job right.Notably, Giant Eagles internal Team Member policy on safety / health / sanitary issues is: You See it. You Own it.It would seem that this is not the case for either location in Boardman Township.We have reached out to corporate with our comments & concerns and have yet to receive a response.We also reached out to the Mahoning County Health Department and they have stopped at their two locations in Boardman several times since March 2019.As of June 2019, the single end cap cooler across from the meat department still looks the same; as does the restroom.

Only supermarket in the area. Hires the DUMBEST people on the face of the planet.

Shop regularly and get my prescriptions here.

Expensive in ways But I know there will be white people looking at this like they dont look or pay me any attention aka customer service representatives...look up and say hi to a black man sometimes. I dont freaking bites..

I give them a 3 for how they have stacked and confused the motorized wheelchairs for people who need them. Recharging without enough working plugs is hgard for the customer. Placing displays in front of them is even more obnixios. I think these photois speak for themselves.

Entertaining, to watch the help drink their adult beverages in the bus shelter than woble back to work

Best grocery store in my opinion. They are super friendly and the store is always clean. If they are out of something u need or frequently shop for they will get it in stock for you!

Boardman route 224 NEVER has enough cashiers. Cant buy wine in the self check out because theres never anyone to check your ID. Waited in line 25 mins to buy a gift card and wine. Absolutely ridiculous

I ordered a cake from this Giant Eagle instead of the one on South Ave because it’s closer to my house. The woman working the bakery was extremely rude and acted like I was an inconvenience to her. Then when I picked up the cake it was the ugliest cake I’ve ever seen and tasted just as bad. Don’t waste your time going to this store for bakery needs. The giant Eagle on south avenue is much better.

Slightly more expensive than some places, but with more unique items. We come here for our bread (bakery) and specialty cheeses.

Five stars if they had better sales or more reasonably priced things. Overall its a good experience the inside of the store doesnt look too old. You can find things that you wont find other places here. Comparable to Vons supermarket if youre from out west

Friendly local Giant Eagle. Prices a little high but their selection makes up for it.

Giant Eagle is still the same .Watch for great ad sells and also use the giftcards and gas cents.

Lots of unusual food items are carried by the GE. Would recommend to family and friends.

Layout is a little off from other GEs. They have a good selection of products.

Good place to shop but I didnt like the new guy that works at the deli counter he dont know how to do his job they need to get someone new ..I will not go back on till then he try to get fresh with my wife. Didnt have the time to talk to the manager and report him but if see him there will talk with the manager

It was easy and it had what I was looking for

I like coming here, plus its a lot of space in here. The only thing that I didnt like was a cake that I bought from them a few weeks bcuz of the topping, but other than that it was good.

If you havent already go get yourself some of the creamy strawberry or the mango outshine bars they are 🔥

Its a great place and during this pandemic they have been very professional. They have a greeter at the door wiping down carts and all employees are wearing masks. And for the time of day it wasnt super busy

I was pleased at the amount of meats today. I wish that customers would follow the guidelines and not go the wrong way in aisles. These covidiots arent wearing face coverings either.

Ok. Granted due to covid-19 there hasnt been much of a selection. There was a lot in my list that wasnt in stock. Items that shouldnt be affected by the pandemic. I worry about shopping here due to the fact that there were already 2 cases of covid-19 that forced srore closing due to sanitary reasons. The main reason I go is because the pharmacy and its staff are amazing!

I frequent this location daily and really feel comfortable at this store. The majority of the day staff are always very kind and pleasant towards me which is not something I always encounter as a fat alternative woman. The shelves are stocked nicely, the selection is fairly varied, and the whole shop (including the bathrooms and the fresh food counters) are kept clean and orderly.

The store overall is clean, well stocked and employees are friendly and knowledgeable. In particular, the pharmacy staff is the best!

This is the worst bakery and customer service center in any of the Giant Eagles in our area. My bf ordered a cake for my birthday to have ready the day before since he wouldnt have time to pick it up the day of my birthday. It was not ready on the 30th and they couldnt even find his order sheet. He made a new order but it wouldnt be ready until the next day. So, he rushed to pick it up the next day and the decorations were not even what he asked for, and the frosting was completely wrong. It was basically like they just took a random cake out of their showcase and tried to pass it off the best they could. He took it back and thats the LAST TIME either of us will order from THAT Giant Eagle. By the way, the customer service center lady didnt even try to pretend to care. No apologies, nothing.

I love local grocery markets. Giant Eagle us nice and organized and it feels very comfortable to be inside. The people are nice and friendly and I love shopping here. Well, I love shopping at all the Giant Eagles.

This location offers friendly service and theyre helpful too. Theres a wide variety of groceries available but other household items as well. I often shop just the sale items and let the fuel perks add up.

1 shared restroom which stinks and is dirty. Prepared food department is small, deli is overpriced and to big . Salad bar is minuscule compared to the other locations on route 224 . Dairy dept is good. Bakery dept very small with limited selection. Floral dept to small. Fresh produce is very good. Fresh meat and butchers are always very friendly and available during morning and afternoon periods, at night they are under staffed. Full service meats and seafood counter very friendly with a fair selection. Service counter personnel are excellent. Pharmacy is excellent. This store needs updating. Canfield and Poland locations are top notch where customers are treated like royalty . Closed the Get-n- Go, why? Compare the bakery and hot food departments between Canfield and this store and it makes you feel like an unwanted step child. Come on Giant Eagle Corporate you can do better. There’s a huge empty bldg next door if you need room.

Everything is fresh, excellent selections and staff is helpful and friendly

Giant Eagle is a great grocery store, and while the prices may seem higher than other places, they have frequent sales, the perks are Fuel Perks, a bank inside the store, very fresh meat daily, and helpful clerks. The store is clean (unlike Rullibros) and reasonable, (unlike Sparkle.) and they are community oriented.

I shop here almost daily. I am not a once a week shopper so I like that this is close to everything in Boardman. The people are friendly (minus 1 cashier but I just dont go through her lane) and the store is clean. They have a decent selection but they unfortunately dont have as many choices as the other Giant Eagles in our area. The other ones even have a free sample machine that everyone loves but this GE does not.

Always clean and organized, Giant Eagle offers a huge assortment of food at good prices. Employees are friendly here. Prices are a bit higher than most other supermarkets, but these are offset by the options of curbide pickup and, soon, I hear, grocery delivery. Both of these are amazing options for someone like myself who is disabled.

Clean and friendly. Most mornings however they are restocking so at time is an issue.

Over priced

Margie the cashier was not nice to my wife. No one has to be nice but i thought an employee would be nice to a customer. What happened was my wife has our 3 kids at the store and they are driving her crazy and distracting her while shopping. so my wife enters the 12 item or less lane without realizing its this type of lane and having more than 12 items. Pretty f-ing rude margie was to my wife about this 12 item lane thing. Could have been nice about it and redirected her to another lane with her 18 items but no. sorry we met you Margie. She sucks and will only give giant eagle a bad reputation.

The cashiers were really nice and directed me to the proper place to find the on sale wrapping paper. They even smiled. Makes a icer shopping experience for sure.

Giant Eagle is busy. But they hardly ever have any baggers. Most of the time I help the cashier & load my own bags. I would think they could afford more employees. Thats my only complaint.

I shop.rather late so I was in and out. Everything that I was looking for was in stock. All the sale priced merchandise that I was looking for was properly marked and in stock. This is a good Giant Eagle.

The have a Huntington bank here that is open later than most banks of any brand and there are two apartments within walking distance of it.

This store really has to order MORE ORGANIC food!!! No one wants products that contain GMO’s genetically modified organisms and high fructose corn syrup, pesticides, fungicides, herbicides...foods with this stuff in them cause numerous cancers and death as well as immune system problems...so my point is if it kills you and harms you why buy it? People need to start speaking out and need to not purchase GMO foods...

Giant eagle is great. Probibly the best overall supermarket chain in Ohio. They have just about everything. You donpay for what you get though, prices are higher than other places.

This place...they are lucky theres not much competition in the area. Never enough lanes open. You need to have a Giant Eagle card in order to use the self-checkout. So you want me to do the work and get your crappy card that makes items normal price.They dont have much of a selection of fine meats, just grouse cheap pink meat and some slimy chicken.Beer selection has gotten MUCH better but prices can still come down in if youre the big box store. Would love to see some gallon organic whole milk and some grassfed beef. Step it up Giant Eagle before I open my own store.

Again seems small for as big as it is and couldnt find anyone in the fish department at all there was a line of like 6 people and nobody I had to go ask someone in deli to help and she wasnt sure what she was doing but it was better than nobody being back there

Great frozen food selection, many different products to choose from and if you use the sales ad the prices are not too bad either.
