Its nice havent been there for years. Was out of state out of mind The Deli meats n cheeses n pasta pickles etc where very reasonable prices r way higher now. Old Rulli bros was way better. Things always will rise inflation on most things I have seen the difference between both stores. Well maintained clean good jobs nice people

I absolutely love this store. It has everything imaginable to make my Greek meals plus they have delicious pastries and love their fresh baked Italian bread. Also their prices are very affordable.

What a fantastic selection of Italian, Greek and other ethnic foods! Great Customer Service, and everyone is especially helpful! Beautiful selection of wines and cheeses--one of my favorites! I like to use some of the fresh produce, meats and fresh breads to make one of my special Smoked Italian Pepper Loafs!

The prices here are amazing. The meat department has always had great meats and the people working the meat and deli cases are always friendly even though they are always so busy. Same with the cashiers. Everyone working there is very friendly. I love the different choices that I dont find at other grocery stores by me. And their rye pumpernickel bread is the best I have ever had!

I live in NM and visiting. This is the best organized and clean grocery store I have ever experienced and I am a senior citizen and have seen a few in my day.Hats off to the Rulli Brothers!!

Love this store. This is more of a local place it seems like. My grocery would cost me around $200, but if I buy from Giant Eagle, Walmart, Sams etc it would be $350-430. Friendly staff. It does limit some of your options but thats okay.

It is a nice place to shop. Traffic is not terrible, my other shopping centers that are so ingested. Prices are not terrible I feel there congested shopping areas, Im trying not to name other stores. Try them you will like Rulli Brothers.

Very well stocked in items. Also an impressive butcher shop on premise with high quality meats at great prices. Add friendly service and a very clean store to the equation and you equal a grocery store that is an excellent alternative to the larger chains.

It was nice. I took my neighbor there. I myself didnt buy anything because we both just went shopping else where 2 days before. Very nice store w/ beautiful produce. If it wasnt so far from where I live, I would shop there upon occasion. I used to when they had a store at South Ave & Matthews Rd. But Im sure they do better business in Poland now as everyone knows Poland is known as the richest superb in Mahoning County. So I understand. And with I, not being in that elite crowd, I cannot barely afford Sparkle at South Ave and Midlothian. It is the only real grocery store on the line as you cross Midlothian into a true food desert. Unless you consider Dollar General a grocery store - which it is quite literally becoming. Yikes. People who have no choices due to poverty are in trouble. Help us Lord.

Im new to the Youngstown Ohio area. I was told that Rulli Brothers is a local favorite, so I finally got to visit their Boardman location. This place is a gem! If youre looking for reasonably priced spices (youll get nearly 6 times what youd get at a regular supermarket), or unique finds like starfruit, juniper berries, handmade biscotti, semolina, ravioli presses or handmade pasta making tools... this is the place for foodies who love to cook and who are enthusiastic and picky about ingredients for Italian dishes. There are gorgeous cheeses, antipasti, and a selection of olives that will thrill you. And you could actually get most of your regular grocery shopping done here. They also have cleaning products, trash bags, cereal, etc...

I got the best bread pudding here. I will definitely buy it again.

Absolutely the most popular food store in Boardman, specializing in fresh, ripe vegetables and hard to find Italian ingredients. They make their own sauces and special Rullis brands. The kitchen usually sells out of dinner dishes before noon. Johnny is a fabulous cook. Everything is very reasonably priced.

Its a very lively place with a lot of high quality food but I was quite surprised that the deli is not capable of making a sandwich on request.

Only went once while visiting family but they had great prices and an amazing selection of sauces and pasta

Excellent fresh food and superb meat and deli.

Able to get a lot of stuff you may not be able to in other places; pizzelle iron and Eggplant Parm among other ethnic Italian food. Some issues at the checkout but was overall okay.

I used to love this store but havent gone in quite some time. Two young boys in the butcher meat department are very rude. I heard them LOUDLY making fun of me (for no reason). Its really a shame since Ive always known this place to have very nice employees and I used to regularly go there before the pandemic.

Cashier was extremely rude to my mother and the elderly man in front of me. Rang her fellow employee up who wasnt in our line. Got into a confrontation with my mother. We love this local business and probably wont return. Maybe she was having a bad day.

I find that they have the freshest vegetables and meat. The worker really want to make sure you are happy. I wish they would make the roast beef more.

Best Italian grocery in mahoning 2

This store has stuff that most other stores dont have. Im just not a big fan for this store. Some of the dairy stuff goes on sale because the experation date is in a couple days or so especially the yogurt. Theres a great meat section, reminds me of what my parents used to make. I was there a couple days ago and I didnt look at the receipt till I got home, they overcharged me on an item they marked down, buck thirty, Merry Christmas. I went for an item the other stores dont carry so I did my grocery shopping there. It just made me upset cause I could have gone down the street and bought 2 for their price for 1.For now I have no reason to go back. I dont shop there often but I will still shop at the store. Just have to watch when to shop, certain hours, the store is packed, long checkout lines but it moves fairly good. Its a great store, its just not near my shopping area.

I cannot afford to pay $6.43 for a POUND of bacon, and $26.65, yes $26.65 for FIVE POUNDS of chicken wings!!!

Coming from Pittsburgh, I need to visit 3 different stores in the Strip District to find the selection that Rulli Bros offers, and you cant beat their prices on meat, produce, and deli items. They also offer a huge selection of specialty Italian items and ingredients. They get busy, but lineove fast. They are my favorite place to shop in the area.

I have a love/hate relationship with this store. I usually go when the strip loins are on sale. Quality of meat is not top notch, but its great for families on a budget. Lots of coupons and deals. I got 2 loins today. One at $3.29 a pound and the other at $3.59. Cant beat that price anywhere around here. Produce is well priced and has a decent selection. My only complaints are the the sections are not stocked at night and ready for the morning customers and again, quality of some of the meats.
