I didnt wear a mask today and wasnt permitted to pay for my slurpee. In fact, the owner grabbed it from my hands and told me hed rather take the loss of profit. As of May 15, 2020, Michigan Governor issued that those fully vaccinated no longer have to wear a mask. Apparently this 7-11 store thinks they are exempt from Michigan orders. Not a good look.

Great Establishment, the owner Akbar is there more than anyone making sure the place runs to its utmost potential and he is genuinely there to help!

9:50am Friday August 10thPossibly one of the worst experiences. As paying customers, our needs should be met.As a regular customer for 7-11, and spending lots of money at this location itself, I was dismayed at how my friend was treated. My friend cant control his bathroom habits, and had to use the restroom, but the employee would not allow him, a paying customer, to use the rest room, causing a very uncomfortable situation of my friend, going in his pants. The employees do have a bathroom in the back, and they do have the ability to let us as customers, use it in an emergency, as they have many times before. Will be never going to this location again. Would not reccomend.

It was quick visit. I bought a couple a lottery tickets but no winners.

I caught a flat and asked if I could leave my Car til the morning and the guy behind the counter clearly couldnt make a decision of his own. So he tells me the owner come in at 7 am I called multiple times last night to leave my number because I didnt think to do it in person. No one answered the phone. Then I called again this morning. He answered the owner wasnt there . because I didnt think he would care to relay the message I told him Id call back in a few. I call and they wont answer the phone. And Im trying to avoid having my car towed. Now I have to find my way there. But I wanted to find me a tire first and nobodys answering the phone up at 7/11 for me to at least explain my situation.

Racist. This 7-Eleven will neverrrrrr get my money again called me a “little black boy”, (I’m a woman) laughed in my face, tried to accuse me of lying/stealing, then looks at receipt & says it worked bc “it says so”, told me a refund was against policy but couldn’t show me said policy, recorded my face but then stops when I tell what happened, watches someone walk out the store w/ a pack of beer (i wish this were a lie) & didn’t call the police..but then immediately called the police on me ..all bc they sold me something that didn’t work & the owner lied saying he was the one who rung me up. I have to go back in the morning & honestly it’s $40..maybe I should let it go bc I’m pissed & extremely disgruntled by the way I was treated. I guess should’ve just stole bc apparently that’s better there..also blamed calling me a boy on a “language barrier” which is bs. I have hair, i have lash extensions..breasts. If someone were that confused they should ask but if I were to call them Indian women I’d be wrong right? This place is a joke. A complaint has been filed. Give my money or a working card; simple. I’m just upset that someone literally walked out the store with a pack of beer but the police was called on me & they didn’t care to resolve anything until I complained they were racist.

Dont waste your time going there today! They ran out of the free Slurpee cups and are refusing to honor their free Slurpee promotion. Epic fail, 7-Eleven... Epic fail!

I used to stop here for slurpees all the time when I lived in ypsi. Always a good stop for snacks, staff was always friendly.

Has its ups and downs. More downs than anything.
