I wanted some hitch pin clips to connect the treadles on the loom to the tie ups. I was able to buy them at harbor freight. They have an amazing assortment of tools and associated parts. I particularly like the kits that contain various sizes of parts, so you can select the best fit. So I bought a few other things while I was here. The only downside is that they are one of the businesses still requiring that you wear a mask.

Popped the box off to do a quick visual on the tool box before leaving. Didn’t see a dent until I got it to work. Be sure to look your tool box over REAL good before leaving

The staff here is always really great, the quality of the items is inconsistent.If youre a DIYer like me where a tool breaking on a job just means a personal project is delayed for a few days with no real consequences then this place can save you a lot of money. I recommend buying a new tool here for the project on which youll need it and if you use it enough to break it then buy a good one.The quality varies a lot between and sometimes even within segments. Their engines, clamps, hand tools, adhesives and painting supplies are all great and priced well. The powertools and powertool attachments are very inconsistent even within brands. Oscillating tool attachments and jigsaw blades? Terrible. Circular saw blades and drill bits? Fantastic. I have a handful of powertools from here, like my reciprocating saw and oscillating tool, that I have used often and have lasted years now. I had a power drill break and a jigsaw become very loud within the first project in which they were used and a rotary tool work only at the highest speed after a year of use. All 6 of these specific examples were from the Chicago electric brand. Anything drillmaster is terrible and should be skipped.The very friendly return policy, helpful staff and pricing more than compensate for the shortcomings.

Its a good store but I know I have a little bit of a low credit score I put in for a credit card not asking much maybe $200 to get my credit working again I will pay it back Im trying to get back on my feet then I can come in the store and buy a little things here and there and pay it off and then buy a few things here and there again but they wouldnt give me that chance so dont need for me to shop there any longer

Usually have no problems here and the issue is not with the location but with the product I bought. Bought 2 of the same 27gal fortress Air compressors and both had a pinhole in a weld in the exact same spot, looks like a manufacturer defect. The problem was that I made 2 trips to a store further away that had it in stock and borrowed a truck twice to do so, wasting $27 in gas not to mention the wasted time so far. Still need to return the second one..

Need more knowledgeable people working there, cant get help from teens who dont know or care where things are located, good if you dont need help finding things or in a hurry.

I bought a 3-Ton, some jack stands, and a torque wrench. The prices were as good as any and the people knew where to find everything. I asked questions and they answered patiently, and I would later find out intelligently (I dont typically buy this stuff). They pointed out that for what I was doing I only needed the $20 torque wrench!

Great place to shop for good tools without being too expensive. They have multiply levels of quality for most offerings, and the staff is friendly and will help you find whatever you are looking for. Personally I really love their tool boxes, tons of options and colors and extreamly great value with how well their toolboxes are built for the fraction of what other brands cost. The large toolbox and two tool carts I have have held up extremely well over the years.

Harbor Freights is a good place to find a tool you need quickly, and use for a short time, because of reasonable prices. I have noticed most of the sales people will gravitate to help the male costumers rather than the female costumer. Which is a shame, because I along with many other women like to shop for power tools! For that reason I only gave it a 3 star rating.

I like the fact that they have wide range of hardware items but you it really depends on what youre shopping for. There are great items, reasonably priced and not a bad quality. However, if youre shopping for power tools, I recommend getting high quality products somewhere else even if they cost little more. As far as power tools attachment, you can get many of them here at lower prices. Basically, it all depends on your personal needs.

I called this location today after being treated poorly by the Howell store manager. The sales person at this store was helpful and professional. He even gave me hints about having an item that I needed held for a longer period of time and pointed out a coupon for a nicer version of the item for the same price. This is where I will spend my money even though it is not as convenient as the Howell store. Thanks for the great customer service and I look forward to picking up my item this week!

I love this place! I can find almost anything I need there.I bought a portable battery booster and I paid less than a tow truck!

They sell a lot of cheap made in China tools, but if your not using them professionally then they will work just fine, plus they give away a bunch of free small tools, usually something cheap like a flashlight of screw driver set, but still free. If you plan on using the tool everyday for hours at a time then I would suggest buying name brand, but I have not put the tools to the test so couldnt say how durable they are just its what I have heard from others.

I bought several tools here for discounted prices. They honor the coupons you get online. My favorite item that I got here was the handtruck. Comes in super handy for everything. It has held up to everything I threw on it.

Good place to pick up inexpensive tools, that you do not expect to use too much. Though I did buy an electric drill motor that has worked beyond my expectations. That said, I bought drill bits that would not drill through paper.

Poorest customer service experience at a Harbor Freight Ive ever had. Dont get me wrong, if youre looking for good prices on tools, this is the place to go. They are very good about honoring their warranty - usually. However, with that said, my husband purchased an item and obviously live at the same residence since hes my husband, but since he purchased the item the warranty was under his name. He was at his parents house (we live in a different area) working on something when a tool broke so he sent me up to the store. The clerk told me my husband had to come up since he purchased it. So my filthy, dirty, and by this point mad husband lost over an hour of his time and had to come up to the store to claim the warranty. They did resolve the issue, and my husband is a member of the store club they charge for (which he wont be renewing for this reason) but we just feel things could have been handled differently. Our local store never gives us an issue.

I go here a lot for tools, and Ive never had a bad experience. The tools are cheap even though they have a 90 day return policy and the hand tools have a lifetime warranty. Ive also bought the extra warranty on more expensive tools and have had to use it a few times, and they dont give you any trouble about it. I usually get brands like DeWalt for anything I really use a lot or need to rely on, but for everything else... The selection is tremendous and I feel like a kid in a toy store when I go!

USED to be a nice place to get decent tools at a good price. 20% of coupons were always helpful. NOW the coupons, even the 25% off Memorial Day only coupon isnt good for much. If you plan to buy a package of sandpaper, then by all means, stand in line for 45 minutes, because only 2 cashiers are working. Any thing else you want to buy the coupon excludes it. While waiting in line, I listened to them over and over tell customers that they couldnt use their coupon for the items they were purchasing. Total bait and switch.

Low prices for decent quality. Its not snap on prices and its not a snap on product but I have been buying tools here for 20 years as a diesel mechanic and they hold up well. Stay away from their electrical products but otherwise go for it.

Management (Andrea) needs better customer service training focused on how to grow a business. It seemed, to spite me, she refused to return a $4 dollar item due to no receipt. I told her that I was not happy with the product not working out of the box and needed to be assured that HF will back their products.... She confirmed the product was HFs but felt comfortable in losing a customer knowing she had policy to back her. Customer centered management doesnt behave that way and understands that customers are very valuable. It will cost HF way more than the profit they made off a $4 item since I will not be shopping there anymore. I also informed my close friend who will not be shopping there...we just dont have the confidence in HFs customer service anymore which I value. I called the Customer Service line and they were even worse with the same attitude of policy driven instead of customer satisfaction driven.

They didnt have what I wanted., its supposed to be there Tuesday of next week ! Good social distant marking !!.

Went into this store for the first time last night 9/2/2017 and was happy with the selection of tools and appearance of the store. However, the staff was inconsiderate at best. The young girl working the front counter was very short when I asked about warranty on an item. She informed me to go to the back of the store and get what i needed then come back up front. Heres where the problem comes in, (granted I did walk into the store at 7:45). While getting my item for warranty in the back of the store, the staff decided to turn off all of the interior lights in the store WITH US AND OTHER SHOPPERS STILL SHOPPING! I couldnt believe that 10 minutes before the store closes they are rude enough to shut the lights off basically telling you youre done shopping and to get out. What if I wanted to spend $500 on a new generator for the home I just purchased in the area? . Doors locked, lights off before 8:00pm closing time. Not too impressed.
