I went to the salon to get my hair colored.. Angie was amazing, very detailed oriented, I would highly recommend her to anyone!!!

New employees on floor not very helpful they are learning. Low staffing, long lines at cashiering out. They need a lot of more staffing. Only real help I got was from a cashier. Not good for JC Penney if i need to shop quickly and get out. Also customers upon checking out not obeying 6 ft covid rule and no sanitation cleaning between customers at checkout counters. Be safe

I like JcPenney. They have a lot of brand name items at great prices, but this store is a mess. Clothing items are all over the place, squeezed together with no room to actually shop comfortably. Ross is much more organized and orderly than this.

Very few shirts and pants in my size, expensive prices. Cashier asked if I wanted a JC Penny Card. I assumed he was talking about an awards program but sneaky guy almost got me to sign up for a credit card. Certainly a better experience than the Ross, but only if you are willing to spend a premium.

Clean & organized store. Employees are friendly with happy smiles. Employees that I was near me, ask if I needed assistance. This store is outstanding with a customer oriented relationship.

They have what I need and gr8 quality. A queen mattress topper for an AirBnB.

Im disappointed that the retail clerks no longer go above and beyond to find a price when no price is on an item, no longer check my rewards, unless I ask them and act like they would rather keep talking to their co-worker than to assist the customer. I shop at the Yuba City, CA JCPenney. Customer Service training should come back if it can be provided. Not sure if training is a budget expense that has been slashed from the operating costs.

If I could give JC Penney in Yuba City no stars I would have, but the app will not let me. These are some of the photos I took at my visit today. In addition to the store looking like a hurricane hit it, I did not see one employee in the store except the one gal working the cash register near mens and I dont think its acceptable to let your line get more than 2 or 3 customers long unless there was absolutely no one else in the store, which is crazy.

They had some good buys but merchandise wise very low in certain dept.but I went when it was school shopping days!

I love shopping at JC Penneys. I have always been a loyal customer. I cam always find a great deal here. I bought two pair of tennis shoes and they were a better price than famous footwear. I hope that people read this post because Penneys needs your support to stay open.

The Yuba City store is a disaster!! Employees standing around talking offering zero assistance while the clothing is thrown in heaps on tables!! The janitor was actually vacuuming while we were there picking up clothes from the floor and placing them on top of racks!!

Hate the new hours that JCP has during the covid19 pandemic. They close at 7 pm but this week they had Levis on sale for 30% off which is a good percentage off since they are not on sale often. Hopefully the expand their hours later in the year and that they stay in business since they have filed for bankruptcy recently.

I went to Sephora in JCPenney. The lady there was so helpful! She really did go above and beyond.

I got some great deals on clearance clothes and a few other things. I love that JCPenney has a petite section. I get a lot of great deals and weekly specials. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I was looking for a specific size of pants and the sales person found it in the back for me. She was very sweet and even suggested a cute shirt. I went in for one thing and left with 6 items! I was so happy and look very cute in my new outfits.

Today, 10:30am on Tuesday, there was actually no long line. I was completely shocked. AND the store was mostly neat looking. I had a return from Christmas or else I wouldnt have bothered going here, but the one person on a register in the store handled it quickly and professionally.

They have some new styles in. Normally have to go to Roseville better selection. Prices can be lower.

This particular JCPenny has a fairly good parking, I can easily find a parking spot. The employees are really nice and I have never had a problem with them. But the only thing that bothers me sometimes is that there isn’t enough cash registers. The line is pretty long on a busy day with only about two people at the cash register. Besides that I shop here a lot and there is always good deals.

What a horrible store. No wonder JC Penny is going out of business.. wont be back

Went here to look for king sheets but they were not on sale.

Not too crowded but lines are long... store was clean but packed with stuff everywhere.Good spot for Christmas shopping. They have everything.

Still a good place to shop but needs to have more current styles. Winter is best place to buy sweaters for $20 and under and active wear.

Previously rated 4 stars. Down to 1 because of terrible customer drive and total chaos on pricing items. Nothing was marked its proper price and things marked $20 rang up for $40 etc and they refused to honor their posted prices or do anything to fix it really. Yes its the busiest season but thats pretty important and when you are irritating so many customers and having people walk off with nothing when they were buying but now they arent because of this and other similar things like it is not good business.

Sell sell sell!. Buy buy buy... Great inventory and more than reasonable prices... Ill be going back for more For Sure.

Make sure if you are going to return an item for whatever reason u have your reciept if not u receive the lowest possible price and it is on a store gift card. LAME!

Jessica was extremely helpful and even did a mini makeover on me... she is only back for the Christmas season but she is a little gem. Also love Sol she is the sweetest.. All. The girls that I have been helped but are very attentive.

Great place to find great clothes and great deals. Unfortunately they have let the store appearance slip and they have removed 2 entire cash register stands. It is very hard to check out now. Takes foreeeever! It is also very hard to find help if needed. I hope they do something to fix this!

Its not the same store it has been in the pass, dirty, clothes laying all over the floor, the kitchen area is 90% void of kitchen products clearance signs everywhere you look. Only a matter of time until we get the notice that there going to close the store.

I used to love our jc penneys now it has very few registers. Takes forever to get checked out and it smells . The worst is that the dressing room smells like urine. They dont take pride in keeping the store up anymore so sad !

Went in for some Christmas shopping. Their pajama section was very sad, unorganized and scattered. You would think that during Christmas they would have better focus on making sure the place stays tidy so people could better find what they were looking for! It was just a mess and it,made it very hard to find what I eas looking for and half of them were in the floor. Maybe They see this post and hire more people during the holiday. I just feel like ever since they put the makeup in the middle of the store everything else got squished to their perspective corners and disregarded.

The store is filthy, 2 register areas, no customer service, long waits to pick up catalog orders, disgusting fitting rooms.

Not only do I love JCPenney, I also love the people that work there. Theyre very nice and helpful, and I especially want to thank Paula, Harold and Gabe for helping me with my Black Friday shopping experience!! Also, a big shout out to Ms. Em, because she made sure people in line are well entertained by asking trivia questions.

Stay away from the jewelry department. Jewelry is cheaply made and after multiple attempts to try and get my wife’s bracelet fixed still the same outcome.

JCPenneys has very rude employees! This has happened pretty much everytime we have gone into the store. JCPenneys also needs to teach their staff how to talk politely to customers but also they need to talk politely to veterans! Will not be shopping again.

I would have rated it higher but it is end of season clearance right now and was there in late afternoon and racks were such a disorderly mess, with clothes on the floor even the tables were messy...Wal Marts racks on same day were MUCH neater! I was going to look for some tops, lots of nice looking ones, but just gave up because of the clutter everywhere!

I dont go in this store very often but I am so disappointed in the appearance of this so called department. Everything was all jumbled up . I thought I was shopping at Ross where you have to dig through everything . I thought I was in thrift store . Clothes and trash all over the floor . I will give one more chances for this store to clean it up . Maybe a smile or two from the people that works there would be nice .instead of them standing around talking to each other.

The lines were awful, the help was worse. Their deals are great and quality is good, but service is horrible. I advise shop on line and ship to home. Stay out of the store.

How did your return it was easy breezy

I have gone to this store on 2 occasions and been told that they do not carry clothing in my size in store. My first time I was pregnant and needed bigger bras. I was told to look online and see if they had anything. I brushed it off because its hard to carry that many different sizes. The second time I went was to find some jeans in a size 18. I looked all over the womens section and couldnt find anything. I asked an associate and she informed that anything over a 16 was plus size and it was online only. I couldnt even buy a pair of pants!?!? I mean come on!

Love the items but have a hard time trying to find someone who works there.

Love penneys. Great selection though the displays are usually a mess, yet there are always big sales. Both of these facts are signs the chain is having trouble and sadly Im sure will be out of business soon. Get in and bargain up while you can.
