Im only giving 2 stars because I feel that the store is not properly staffed. The assistant manager, Sara, is litterally ALWAYS there. 7 days a week and most days shes there ridiculously long hours, sometimes ill go In, in the morning, before work and shes there, and the same day, my kids go in, in the evening, and shes STILL there, and she is always in good spirit, and very friendly and helpful. Yet I barely see the actual store manager. If you ask me, the assistant deserves that title.

Closed early don’t appreciate putting my som out when he was already in the store trying to purchase headphones. The store is trashed and horrible customer service!!

Every time I come the same guy is working. I’m guessing he is the manger. He is very nice but he needs help. The store is always full of boxes that need to be unpacked and half full shelves. Then you have to ring a bell and wait on cashier and that takes forever.

Good candy at cheap prices.

Staff is ghetto as they come. One of my last experiences in the store, one of the female employees was blasting rap music (not even close to appropriate for kids) and eating hot cheetos while stocking shelves. When I asked her where to find something she told me 3 different isles to look in instead of helping me find what I was looking for. Ever since the last store manager left the place has been a wreck. I would rather pay a little more or go a little further to another store than go here.

Usually I have no issues, but today I was saddened by the service. Ran in for one thing tho see it was on sale. But then it rang up more. When questioning it, he said maybe we forgot to take the tags down. I certified the sale ended 2 days ago. But the tags for everything were still up including a tag that said June 2018. Then he refused to honor the price. Disappointed in the service today.

Do not shop at this family dollar, they are all about wasting your time and not helping you out. For example, today I called to ask about the price of a phone for my uncle. The guy working there answered then placed me on a 15 minute hold upon asking. Then after 15 minutes the hold ends where you can then hear him talking to people in the store rather than returning to me about the price of the phone. This went on for 10 more minutes before I hung up. Called back several times only to not get an answer. It should not take 25 minutes to get the price of a phone.

I’ve never been so disgusted with this place! I was falsely accused of stealing. When I know for a fact it wasn’t me. On top of that they accused me of stealing diapers!!!! when I don’t even have kids of that age! I clearly told them they had me mistaken for someone else but nope they threaten to call the cops or leave! After repeating myself they had the audacity to tell me I can keep shopping there but asked to not come back. Are you freaking kidding me?! Never going back there again! I was embarrassed and falsely accused in front of people it was disgusting.

The black guy I think hes a manager but he tried to steel five dollars from me one day on purpose!!! So when I got home I noticed that my air freshener wasnt in my bag it was five dollars so I guess he did steel my five after all. I havent been back since.

Found everything i needed and was out fast with lots of goodies for me and my family

I love this store because not only can I walk to the location, if I went to, but it is kept neat & the employees are very nice!!!

Stocked full of inventory. Sometimes to a breaking point. The staff is hard working and Im sure not appreciated enough for the issues they face.There is a need for music to be piped in here. The silence is deafining.

I was shopping at the zion il store on 10-20-2016 and the clerk was nice to the lady before me and was rude to me...maybe thgis job isnt the right fit for her...she would have a job if there were no customers...they used to have a very friendly staff what happened
