Big lot, 40% reserved spots. No restaurant. Country pride is closed permanently. Theres a Dennys if you want to walk a mile both ways.

No restaurant, they only have gas station food.. Good news they have a dennys across the street.

This place is pretty good. The food and customer service is great. Even it takes some time they do their job. Also parking spa a lot. But around 6-9 pm it’s gonna be full so hurry up to get your parking spa for your truck.

Unless you want hot dogs off the roller or a candy bar you have no food. Tired of making plans to stop according to DOT regulations and finding the only thing to eat is roller dogs. Wish TA cared enough about drivers to open up their restaurants. If TA doesnt want the expense of a restaurant turn over the restaurants over to local restaurants and not the chain restaurants make each TA a unique place and help out the local communities. Drivers are sick of all the same fast food and want healthy choices not roller dogs and candy.

Nice truck stop. Restrooms are clean. Restaurant was good. Plenty of parking late morning.

Lots of spots, though as usual with TA ALL near the travel center are reserved. Lost some stars for that. They have a truck wash, I wasnt able to use it. Maybe 10+ fuel islands. The restaurant was closed which sucks because I really wanted to try it. As usual over priced snacks and drinks. Arcade with just slots. Couple other places all which were closed granted I visited on a weekend but still... covid...

Very neat, huge space for truck parking and great customer service

American pop-culture tells us that truck stops are nasty swindlers. No exception to that found here.This is in Zion Illinois, not Chicago, very close to the Wisconsin border. In house restaurant is only County Pride(overpriced garbage food quality) which is only open until shortly after dark. One employee in the store, and he is not always around. If I were a thief, I would love this place. Truck parking near the store is paid only at $15 a night. Thats insanity. Restrooms dont just smell like feces. They wreak of a whole sanitation issue. Gross! Fuel is overpriced, as is EVERYTHING this place offers. Save your money, skip this dirtbag of a truck stop. They will unapolagetically take all of your money and give you a bad experience to boot.

Very nice restaurant staff.. Server went out and beyond to accommodate my desire for cake and ice cream.. Very fun and loving environment. Would definitely recommend it to fellow truckers

Friendly staff, clean restrooms and plenty of parking. Also, the porter house steak was cooked at a perfect medium.

This place has turned into a joke. Employees dont want to work, restaurant is closed and what little food there is on the roller grill looks like its been there a couple of days. This is one of the many locations that needs to close. Petro needs to take over T/A.

Too many paid parking spots. Diesel = 3.25 / Gas 2.99 as of 7/23/19.Showers are small and mine wasnt even cleaned. The new staff arent trained very well, evident based on simple tasks having to be corrected by me, a driver.Overall: average T/A truckstop

Nice TA with a nice Country Pride attached. Very friendly and helpful staff. The store inside is also great with lots of variety. This TA also has some good truckers services.

They only have food Monday through Friday. I did get a nice walk through the paid parking. Do not make my mistake, and head directly to the Loves.

Restaurant closed. Half of the parking lot is pay to park. And to do laundry is three dollars each. They post signs in laundry room saying sorry unable to give change out due to shortage sorry for inconvenience. Yet you get change back on a purchase. It seems the all the drivers are inconvenienced by having to bend over and fork out of pocket during these tough covid times but the petro Corp. won’t even due away with the paid parking or offer free laundry to balance things out and to show their appreciation for our business.

Ok so first me and my fiance who drive cross country went into the Country Pride restaurant and the lady who waited on us seemed fake I told my girl well shes a waitress baby its her job to be fake but she said she just gave out a bad vibe but I had no complaints about her. But while in the store looking around waiting on the food to get cooked we came across seen on tv section and was looking at some things so we went about our way the cashier cameto that sectionafter we left and accused of of stealing some chinch glasses but quickly recanted her accusations so we left and vowed to never come back to this place again

This place thinks its amusing to close the restaurant @ 8PM. Apparently truckers can starve. BTW. It opens @7AM, so if you want to take 10 hrs break and fall in that time frame, no breakfast for you either.

VERY NICE PLACE EVEN THE WAITRESS WAS EXTREMELY NICE, UNFORTUNATELY THIS PLACE HAS LAZY COOKS WHO CANT EVEN PUT ON SOME WATER FOR NOODLES, AND CUTS OUT ABOUT 5 THINGS OFF THE MENU THAT THEY DONT HAVE TO PREPARE. TIME OF MEAL 6 PM.

I do not like this particular one. I find it very inconvenient. Fuel stop doesnt have anything appetizing to eat. Just junk food. Cant get to the main building easily. Not enough handicap parking.

So many complaints about paid parking...it is a business. you have to plan if you want non reserve parking. if you dont then pipe down and pay for the parking. i pay for the parking and enjoy all the Travel Centers. If you put it in your budget or even do one then you will not have issues with a business making a living.

Never enough parking and now pay to park here as well as at Pilots, Flying Js, ect. Trucking has become a pain.

If you need food, repairs, accessories, truck wash, wash clothes etc etc you will be happy here.

Place was clean. Restaurant was fantastic. Shop service was fast and accommodating. Place is right next to a bike/walking path (nice!). Took one star off because showers had very weak water pressure. Also, shower had no curtain, so the entire shower room was soaked by the time we finished our showers (everything was wet).

Big parking lot, unfortunately most of it is pay to park. Very nice how this company has found a way to take more money from drivers. I will pay to park because we are forced too but the charge will just go on the customer. Long story short, everyone will pay for it😁. Have a nice day.

Parked away from fuel island, to go inside to shop come outside to find a big TowAway dropped trailer sticker stuck to the cab of my truck, WOW! I’m impressed, maybe y’all shouldn’t be so worried about taking advantage of truckers, and charging us to park.... after all your prices on general merchandise isn’t jacked up enough. Let alone your yard-bully putting stickers on trucks and waking others up is a real good sign.. caching caching, there’s the register ringing! After 17 years and a lot of money spent at TA and Petro, this one kills it! I’d rather spend my dollars on fuel, necessities and, other things.... I’ll keep a rolling, to someplace else! It is ridiculous how they look at the reason they exist!

Hello Fellow Fine Truckers and Stay Healthy and Safe Out There, We Are So Essential and Important to our Economy !!! Every other day I shower here so the showers are always available. They are always really really clean. The staff is attentive and do their best to help in anyway. it would be nice if they had an exercise facility but their building isn’t big enough to provide an exercise room unfortunately. Not having the Exercise Room I’m rating them four stars. I think the management is good. They have lots of covered garbage cans in easy walking distance from anywhere you park at the truckstop also. For our Pets, they have a lot of green grass area for pets to get out and exercise which is great for the cutie pie trucker Dogs !! 🐶God Bless America and our President Donald J Trump. Im Voting All RED this Ugly Covid Election Year 2020. Shutting down the economy is ruining our livelihood and I believe it’s a sinister Plan created from the Global Elites trying to depopulate the world to control us all. One of the best truck stops Ive ever been at. Place is clean inside and out and the people are really friendly and courteous. Even the parking lot was clean! They also have a good supply of all youd need in a truck. Definetly one of my favorites! 😁

Place is a dump - just as it always been.

This was a great truck stop. Unfortunately it is in IL and cant open the restaurant due to the socialist Dems that run that poor state. Only services available to a truck driver is fuel, shop, over priced convince store items and showers. Cant get anything hot or fresh to eat and was told by Uber eats driver that they cant deliver to trucks on the property. Maybe one day they will get back to normal.

Restaurant is great. Its Friday night and its all the fish you can eat. I ate way too many, I can barely waddle out of the place. Good food good service good prices. They have a special every night Monday through Friday . always good

Not a bad stop. Lots of free parking and pay parking. Easy to get in and out of. Could use a bit of and update inside the store. But over all, not bad

The restaurant is closed so if you want to eat you have to order food to your truck. Shower was clean with plenty of hot water.

Here on new years Eve and restaurant closes at 8 oclock so here we are eating deli burgers when we could at least have had a decent meal. They where open on Christmas what makes a difference now. When truck drivers stop to eat something they would like more than just deli burgers. Truck drivers dont get to go home all the time so a hot decent meal and just to get out of truck would be nice. If we went down the road to the pilot we would at least be able to eat a slice of pizza and decent burgers.

At the state lines of WI and Ill,off 94, ⛽ island has bathrooms, some roller dogs, snacks, store 🏪 has 🚿,a Verizon store, repair shop, game room, Im not sure about the restaurant is open, but the store has roller dogs and snacks.

Huge place that fills up very quickly. The fuel island was recently updated, but pumps still occasionally go down and the store isn’t stocked well, bathroom is tiny and everything is always wet (not really their fault I guess, you nasty truckers you ;) The whole place loses power once or twice a month. The truck wash isn’t that great for the price, Blue Ribbon is better. The main store is alright, they really need to put in another restaurant though. They haven’t got a great selection of food, although the food at the restaurant isn’t bad and the staff is nice. They have slot machines where the arcade used to be, great place to watch depressing people.The real reason this place only gets 2 stars though is the shop. The staff is nice, the problem is there aren’t enough of them. I’ve had to stop there a few times and there’s ALWAYS at least 3 trucks ahead of me. This place is way too busy for how few people they manage to hire. I’d recommend going about 20 minutes north to the Petro, or go to Pomp’s if you have a tire issue. The main problem with that, though, is if you’re going north and your issue is something with DOT, there’s a scale right in your way just past this TA. It’s a HUGE detour to get around that scale (don’t try using the frontage road, they are on to our game...)

Not bad, considering the location. Over half of the lot is reserved parking, but theres enough room to create a parking space for yourself if you need one. Facility is clean and well-maintained. Restaurant is so-so, at best. Not enough staff to properly wait on everyone when its busy. Still, a nice place.

I would not recommend this place. They are usually pretty discriminatory honestly.The place does not have window washer or customer service.They do have a nice bathroom.

Oof. I remember when reservation parking was useful for when you had a shipper or consignee appointment at an inconvenient time and you can reserve a spot so you can have an easy place to park. But now seems like its more like what they used to do, have a gate and pay to get in, by having more than 50% of their spaces paid. Theres gotta be a better way.

We like stopping here. Great people from the fuel desk to the shop to the Country Pride. Keep up the good work.

Food was delicious. Plates couldve used another go around in the wash. Service was great and restrooms clean. Love the kids eat free deal. Pull in anytime I got the kids with me on the road

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat ..didnt really want fast food..wanted more of a home cooked meal..they had a special great ! .baked chicken with potatoes and a vegetable. The chicken was absolutely ridiculous. ...Im not a fussy eater..so when I tell you it was probably cooked three days ago and left in the oven or something. It was a very very rubbery dark brown..potatoes cold. Extremely irritated..will never go there again....

Claimed the burger was 8 oz before cooked. That was absolute nonsense, more meat on a butchers whippet. The waitress was pleasant and courteous. The salad bar was fresh and very ordinary. This is not a place you will bookmark for a return. Out truck drivers deserve bettet.

I would have given 5 stars for the cleanliness and food quality of this TA however, the associate at the check out counter and the waitress in the restaurant were very impersonal, rude and seemed to have a serious attitude problem. I dont know if they were both exhausted or having a bad day for what, but when you work with the public, you need to leave that stuff at the door.

TA continues its mission to rip off truckers with more and more spaces being pay to park, while raising their prices on everything in the store, but still having nothing prepared and ready on their lower priced grill items. SHAME ON TA !!! All the time saying theyre all about the truckers, actually theyre all about getting in the truckers wallets!

Nice place, is better when theres not many truckers around, just kidding!! They dont have a lot of food choices though. Bathroom are small but clean.

Easy stop for truck drivers and simple parking as well. Good choices for a quick snack and coffee also.

It was my first time visiting. The waitress was beautiful and so nice. Looked like a super model. I guess the food was okay I was so enchanted by my waitress..😁My meal was fine and the salad bar was stacked and fresh.

Over all Country pride had good food and great customer service it is sad that you got one server working a shift on her own she was a sweetheart by the name of Brea not one complaint on her you can see her hardwork and the patience she has especially with us truck drivers. One thing that killed getting the 5 stars for sure is the ridiculous amount of reserved parking they have and not to mention not enough to balance out for those drivers that attempt to leave trailer at warehouse and Bob tail no parking for that as well corporate needs to get a balance on that as well so that it can be fair to all drivers.

We had the all you can eat buffet. It was a good price and the food was good. I have had issues with some of the food in the past, but was suprised at the selection and taste of the buffet. Will definitely get it again. Every once in a while we will get a not so good waitress. But usually pretty good.

I always come here for truck work. Mostly what time they give u. They will call you before and work fast. The ppl r very cooperative.
