Super friendly service. Obviously a place the locals love because there was a regular stream of all sorts of different folks coming in. Got my breakfast fast (which I was easily able to customize to make it enough for my full day!). Gift shop at the Main Street door then walk on back to the cafe part where the regulars come in through.

Cute place and has a boutique upfront before cafe. Offers coffee flights and basic but delish breakfast/lunch items. Minimal seating and quick service

This place is BUSSIN. Especially thier smoothies. Very kind staff and just the thing people need on both hot and cold days. When its hot, grab a smoothie, frappe or iced tea. And when its cold, pop in and grab a piping hot coffee, cappuccino, or hot chocolate. Theres so many delicious options to explore!!!

The first two times Ive been there they were fast and good today we waited 15 minutes and no one came to our table. So we ordered to go my wife is still waiting for our food.

My wife and I like to go around and try different coffee shops all around. Currently we have been to 50+ different shops. About 80% of them we find mediocre and find no urge to return or, unfortunately, dump out the drinks. But this place TOPS THE LIST of best coffee shop for us. Everything we have had is fantastic! Everything from their syrup flavored drinks to their plain lattes to their drips. You want food? Order something that sounds good. They have grest dishes snd pastries as well! Very awesome place to go! We always find ourselves coming back.

I went to Downtown Perk for the first time today. I was having a birthday lunch with a friend and had their cup of soup (veggie beef), a half salad (chicken), and a raspberry mocha latte.The soup was good and of homemade quality but the serving was rather small, even for a cup.The salad was delicious, although I had misunderstood and thought it was a veggie salad with chunks of chicken in it. Despite my surprise, I was delighted with it: Mixed greens, tomatoes, and shredded cheese; topped with a very generous portion of chicken salad.The specialty latte was amazing. I am not typically a fan of these types of drinks, as I like my coffee strong and not overly sweet. This coffee was very festive looking and absolutely delicious! Since it was very sweet, it was more like a dessert for me but for those who favor Starbucks will be very satisfied with this latte.The employees were very friendly and helpful. They promptly greeted us, took our drink orders, and took our food orders. The food orders were a little slow coming out. From beginning to end, we were there just under an hour and a half and had a very pleasant experience.

We stopped here for a coffee while road tripping with our kids. The coffee was delicious. Staff was friendly, helpful and patient while we took our time trying to decide what to get while juggling our toddlers. Lol I recommend their iced English toffee nut latte. Yum!

Adorable coffee and lunch stop in the heart of downtown Ashland, located just a short distance from the university. Fresh soup, salads, and sandwiches complemented with expertly crafted coffee and espresso drinks. A great place to quietly read a book over lunch. Hospitable service and a relaxed atmosphere made my visit very enjoyable!

The staff was courteous enough but waited forever for a simple flatbread which was neither very hot nor very good. Felt like I just waited to pay and leave! Oh well. Hope it was a one off for them.

Downtown Perk is a fantastic place to grab a great cup of coffee or a fantastic lunch. The coffee shop is full of decor from Ashlands past, giving it a unique atmosphere you wont find anywhere else. Always great, friendly service!

Wow! Outstanding cafe food and energetic staff. Had a grilled pear salad, Thai soup, and grilled ciabatta and a frappe to go. All was good.

The staff is very nice and there is wifi. The reason for a 3 star review is price. A latte is 4.50 plus. The Perk is the only local choice for a coffee in Ashland. The atmosphere is nice enough with plenty of tables for work and study. Bring head phones.

Staff is excellent and drinks are priced just right. Food is awesome. Have had the breakfast quiche was great, have also had pannini grilled cheese was also delicious. Love this little shop. The front has local artists work such as soaps made to look like desserts. Everyone working there is super friendly and accommodating. The cafe itself serves delicious food and drinks! Everytime Im in Ohio I make sure to go to Perks.

I fell In love with this place. So homey and welcoming. Molly comes up with great suggestions for ever your sweet tooth desires. If you decide on food I would recommend the Italian muffLeta sandwich or any of there creative flatbreads that only are available here.

Absolutely love this little gem! Its so adorable insdide. The girls here treated me like a friend even though it was my first time in. The salads are really good and the coffee menu is exactly and artistically perfect :) Lavender dirty chai? yeah baby.My only recommendation is to get a few gluten free items to munch on with my coffee :)
