Sales guy was great but no deals. The pandemic excuse is wearing thin, high price, nothing given at sales, and had to take car at end of month driving there extra time so I had a pickup. The finance person created so much stress I almost walked. I buy Hondas because they last. Listening to the finance person selling extended coverage, the car will cost crazy money to fix in the future. Not sure these Hondas are what they used to be. Worst buying experience ever .

Charlie for cars, James for service. These 2 gentlemen are foundational for this business. I love my Ridgeline and have 0 complaints about the service or price.But I have also had a bad experience here. James quickly fixed it and represented Honda very well. I did get the impression if James hadnt gone to bat for me, I may not have had the same outcome.

This is the second time I bought a vehicle from Dover Honda. My experience on both occasions was great but this time was a lot easier. Allan was not only professional but has a great sense of humor. I didnt feel any pressure or pushed into something I wasnt ready for. Thank you Allan for an amazing car buying experience!

Ive been to Dover Honda (Dover Auto World has both Dover Honda and Dover Chevrolet) on multiple occasions recently due to various car issues and maintenance. The staff are very upfront about what work needs done, how much it will cost, the severity or necessity of each maintenance item, and lets you choose what youd like to get done that day or schedule in the future. The waiting room is quite spacious and comfortable. Ive been keeping track of whats wrong with my own OBD II sensor to make sure theyre not trying to sneak any unnecessary maintenance, and Ive never experienced that here. Theyve even taken me to the garage to show me exactly whats wrong on occasion and allowed me to decide what Id like to do about the situation. I also really appreciate their online maintenance scheduler and the employees giving the opportunity to text about any questions while you wait. Theyve even done free multi-point inspections and car washes on occasion. Fantastic service!

For anyone that looks at these reviews I hope they see this one. I have been to many dealerships looking to purchase my first car and this place. Dover chevy, was by far the worst one I’ve been to. The salesman were not nice at all, their vehicles are far too overpriced and they’re not willing to drop price. The business manager and salesman laughed in my face when I made an offer that was reasonable for the truck I was looking at. I highly do not recommend Dover Chevy and I personally will never go back to this dealership.

NOT HAPPY WITH THERE ATTITUDE. THEY PUT PART OF MY PAY OUT ON MY CREDIT CARD [ $3K] AS A DEPOSIT. THEN DIDNT GIVE IT BACK. TO ROLL IT IN TO MY LOAN WHEN I BOUGHT THE VEHICLE. THEY ALSO, TRIED TO BAIT AND SWITCH THE PRICE. TOLD ME THERE 100K MILEAGE COVERAGE ON THE POWER TRAIL WOULDNT COVER ME UNLESS I HAD ALL MY SERVICES DONE BY THEM. TRIED TO SELL ME INSURANCE BECAUSE, GUARANTEE HONDA WASNT GOING TO COVER ANYTHING ELECTRONIC, OR, THE FABRIC IN THE INTERIOR OF THE VEHICLE.BUMMED US OUT OF WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A HAPPY PURCHASE.

My 23 year old son recently needed a vehicle after his Chevy Tahoe died. He did his research and ended up at Dover Honda. He has never had a loan before and was hopeful he would qualify on his own. Paula was the consummate professional, addressing him directly as he was the client. I greatly appreciated and respected that gesture. Paula gave him many options and after conferring with Bob Drake, eventually ended up with a 2016 Honda Civic at a very competitive price. Bob even went above and beyond to secure a lower interest loan for him. Two days later he drove off the lot an extremely satisfied customer. I know he and I both will be back again to patronize Dover Honda. Thank you Paula!

Not a good place. Salespeople lack direction. They offered me 0 for my trades and I left. Later salesperson called and said they forgot a zero, that they would give me 1000 for one of them. I dont know how you forgot a 0 on the 0 you offered. Email after said 1500 for both trades. I want 1000each. Not excessive. Next email tells me comeback we have 3 cars available in my range. I agree to go back. Now I show up for a schedule appointment and they arent even ready for me. Manager that was supposed to work with me directly, passes me off to another guy who doesnt even know why Im there. He only shows me one car when 3 should have been ready to view at my appointment. Dealer fees are to high. Shady and deceptive with trades. Overall negative experience.

My 99 Camry finally needed more work than it was worth after 17 years so I needed a new one. My father had bought from Dover Honda about 5 years earlier and loved it so I decided to follow suit. I was not looking for anything special, just a standard sedan. The service here was great. My dealer Paula came right out to greet us as soon as we got out of the car. She found me a car out of the hundreds on the lot that was perfect for what I was looking for. No one at the dealership was pushy or tried to force extras onto us. I opted to get floor mats that were custom sized for my new Civic but that was all and they were perfectly ok with that. The price was great as well. I had no complaints at the time of purchase and have no complaints now.

While shopping for a new Honda, Paula was able to answer all my questions thoroughly and provide me with a great experience. Although I didnt sign on the dotted line that day, she followed up with me a week later, a month later, then again at the beginning of the new year to make sure I had found a solution. Even though I didnt end up with a Honda, Id definitely recommend this location and Paula in particular were I looking to buy a Honda!

Staff in the service department are top notch. I stopped by on Monday as I didnt think I needed an appointment, which is true. I had a safety recall and so I needed an appointment, they got it schedule set me up with a loaner. When I dropped off they talked to my dog, even though she was being a little unnerving.

Unwilling to negotiate a too high priced older car. Weeks later, price was reduced, and car is still for sale. Would not allow me to drive car without salesman in the car, and would not let me take car to get a mechanics opinion without the salesman. Driving record is clean. Excessive control for my taste.

I am almost 50 so I have had a few visits to dealerships to buy new cars. This experience was one of the best...Chad..Stephen and of course Bill made me feel like a person instead of just a number....this is my 3rd new Silverado but my first trip to Dover Auto World...I can definitely say I will never go anywhere else again!!! I have never been there until today and they are just like Portsmouth Chevy. Very rude and the manager I think his name was Josh was hiding in the back. My mom kept saying how much we owed on our car and he kept saying we can help. My mom is now very discouraged because of the way she was treated. I am not really sure why they were rude to her, oh wait because they are MONEY HUNGRY! Never going back there again

Nice, clean dealership. Very welcoming.I placed a call for an appointment and they were able to accommodate me that day with less than two hours notice.Drove in, asked about service, gave them my keys and described what needed to be done, and waited in the living room.They have coffee and water available in the break area, and TVs to watch. Free WiFi.The staff I did speak to were very friendly, great at explaining everything, patient, and professional.I ended up just getting a state inspection done ($39.99), since I was still dealing with some fallout oversight by the dealership I bought my car from. They, like all dealerships, tried to upsell me on recommended maintenance but I declined for now.I will be coming here again, but mostly out of necessity. It wont be a dreaded visit though.

I purchased my first Honda CR-V at this dealership twelve years ago and appreciated the relaxed and attentive sales approach at that time. This season I was looking to replace the 2004 CRV with a new one and decided to lease the end of the year model. Al Lepler assisted me with all of my questions and arranged for a test drive in no time and in one stress free evening and I drove home in a brand new 2016 CRV! This is my first time leasing a vehicle and I am happy about taking this approach. Sarah Northrup helped me in the business office, and was very helpful and personable. The managers there are complete deutsche bags. Theyre pushy and try to intimidate you into buying cars right away. I went for a test drive and the general manager, bruce, started grilling me like an interrogator to figure out what my job status was. Then he was like, I want to sell you a car today, as if I would get scared into buying one that day. I was like, hell no! I just started my search, was planning on test driving more cars, and there was no way I was going to buy a car that day. No way Im going back to that dealership again.
