I’ve gone several times to get my routine cleaning for my engagement ring, and every time my ring is still dirty. Especially underneath the diamond. Don’t get me wrong the customer service isn’t bad. But the point of going is for my ring to come out sparkling. They just clean the top and leave the layer of dirt that’s underneath the diamond.
The experience was horrible. When trying to celebrate such a memorable occasion, I was unpleasantly surprised with the lack of communication I received from the associates at this location. I literally asked them to reverse my credit card payment and decided to purchase another ring by which I didnt really like it, but I needed, at the same mall because of the unprofessionalism I encountered.
They don’t treat customers with respect
Kay jewelers was not my first stop but it is now my first choice thank you,MJ GILLETTE . Other stores showed me limited jewelery and tried getting me to settle another kept showing me the same exact ring I said I did not leave .MJ GILLETTE went over everything offered me a chair and we discussed details and then gave me her opinion which was the best optionMJ GILLETTE customer service was second nature
After getting jewelry from this Kay’s for 10 years and not really having any issues until now. I called to schedule a appointment with my fiancé to look at wedding bands the Saturday before Father’s Day and was told 11:30 we could come in. I ended up calling right back to change The appointment to Father’s Day and was told 11:30 would still work. Both times I called the same lady was very rude on the phone. We get to the mall on Father’s Day to find out the mall doesn’t even open til 12......then the lady acted like she told me 12 when she certainly did not!!!! Ended up ordering both our wedding bands was told it would take about two weeks to get in. After three weeks of waiting with NO phone call I had to call a couple different occasions to get a hold of someone because no one was answering. I was told there were two rings a his and hers that have been sitting there they didn’t know who’s they belong to because they were an online order....... I ended up going there getting my fiancé‘s ring and double checking my band size to get it sent out to get two sizes smaller. My fiancé‘s ring even though we were told he needed a 10.5 when he got his ring for some reason it was too big but fit just right at the store with a 10.5. So again we needed to get the ring sized a second time. I got a phone call on a Friday at 4:23 PM that my ring had came back in with the correct size I needed, I told the lady that I would be able to pick it up the next week that Monday or Tuesday she said that was fine they didn’t close until seven. It’s Monday I get to the mall at 5:30 PM there’s a sign on the door that says they were closed all day sorry for any inconvenience. They knew I was coming I just confirmed Friday and drove 40 minutes for nothing, it has been one thing after another with the new people working at the store. Never have had this much problem after 10 years until now!!!! They are losing two long time customers.
I have not had one good experience with Kay’s. My husband purchased my wedding and engagement rings here in 2012 and every time I go to get them cleaned or sent away to be dipped, there’s an issue. They can never find the account, even though I bring the original receipt and documents every time. I usually always spend approx 45 min or more waiting for my account to be pulled up, rings to be inspected or cleaned. This has been happening 2x a year for 8 years. Two weeks ago I sent my rings away to be cleaned and dipped, spending 47 min in the store to get this done after an employee started helping me. Today I called to check to see if my rings were back and the employee went to look and came back to the phone and said they were there. I go to pick up my rings (a 30 min drive btw) and another employee tells me they haven’t come back yet. I mean seriously, can anyone at this store get it right. That was an hour of my time wasted because of incorrect information. I am unfortunately stuck with getting my rings inspected here since my warranty is with them so corporate need to do something about this because it has been and still Is a horrible experience.
I needed the perfect birthday gift for my granddaughters 21st birthday. The salesperson was so patient and showed me several things. Then he showed me an opal bracelet. That was it. The perfect gift. She loved it!
I’ve purchased my wife’s engagement ring, both our wedding bands and another piece of jewelry here in the span of 2 years and have no complaints. The general atmosphere is quiet (despite being in a mall), it’s not usually extremely busy and the staff are always available to help and are very informative.I’d suggest checking them out if you’re deciding to take that big commitment or even to get someone close to you a sentimental gift.
My Father went shopping for my mother this Christmas. I understand that the holidays are rough on everyone. However, that does not mean that you have to be rude to a customer right from the get go. An employee here judged my dad solely based on his appearance. It really upset him, and I think its pretty messed up that someone judged a customer based on how they look, and assuming how much money they have based on their appearance. Saying yeah I didnt think you had that kind of money is so awful. I rarely write reviews, and Ive worked in customer service so much, so I do understand the frustration. But this is just plain rude.
Not sure the woman’s name but a very tall & manly black lady was extremely rude the whole time I was trying to pick up my ring. I waited over 30 minutes with no service it wasn’t until another couple came in to pick up their jewelry (before me even though I had been waiting) that she got my jewelry from the back. She asked for my paperwork which was fine but I had it at home so I attempted to show her my email and ID which she then said oh we don’t accept that so they need to stop telling people we do. I took my ring and left just to get out because she was nothing but rude as I walked back to my car my ring fell off twice so I came back and told the nicer gentleman behind the counter, she come up and say to me in a very rude manner is there something you need ? And asked if I planned on waiting there. After getting all my jewelry from Kay jewelers and spending lots of my hard earned money at this establishment I will absolutely NEVER come back if she is any reflection of how customers will be treated.
Staff was very attentive and informative.
Diamond fell out of my ring the first day I picked it up.
Awesome customer service 😄
Connor and MJ are awesome! They went above and beyond for my husband and I!! We will be Kays customers for life. We highly recommend them!
Great customer service #100
I have had horrible experience with this company. After placing an order with a P.O. Box delivery address, I was told I messed up the order by “not selecting a P.O. Box option”?!? There is no P.O. Box option! I entered in my P.O. Box address and the system accepted it and did not indicate an issue. The first representative told me it’s very apparent and hard to miss!!! I checked and there isn’t an option and I told her this and she hung up on me! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!
Aways have great quality jewelry. Sales team always help as much as possible to get you the best deal for your money
Everyone was so nice too me and helped me find the perfect engagement ring with no pressure and treated me amazing.
After getting engaged in 2017, I have had nothing but repair battles with Kays corporation. To those thinking about using kay jewelers, DONT! They will scam you in every single way that they can! They ruined my wedding band and had the audacity to say that I couldnt do anything about it since I didnt have photographic proof of what it looked like before.
Ms MJ is wonderful!
Love the selections and specials
Excellent service!!
Great sales
