Based on this store I can only manage a 2 star. 1 his prices on firearms are very reasonable. 2 I love mom and pop style stores. So now the bad, the owner is an ok person, very very very very paranoid... no cell phone policy in the store, even if you pay it flat on the stool, blocking the camera, to transfer Money, the owner will blow their fuse. Absolutely goes into panic/rage mode. The owner referred to it as a law.. I did correct the owner there is no law for bringing a camera into a firearm shop. The owner then told me the reason.. the owner watched a video and the people video taped the store then robbed it... so there’s the answer if you want to know why. Personally I believe your lockers/vaults/gun safes are there for that reason. The owner let us know that his store is frequent go break ins, crow bars to the back, stones to the front door and nearly on a bi weekly basis at the least. His hours dictate the safety of him self and store. So yes the owner is paranoid, however i feel a bit odd being in a firearm shop with someone that is so flighty. Perhaps self defense classes would help, hiring someone to run it for you or with you.. adding extra security cameras... I would shop here again if I had to, for ammo. Otherwise I would say this shop is very useless to the area. 1 Star for pricing, 1 Star for location. The bad, hours are timed bad/no weekends. Paranoid owner. Knowledge of fire arms seems to be shaky. This could be one of those little gems but I feel it never will be.

Great little hole in the wall. Took my dad there tonget a few supplies. Had everything we needed.

Called and asked if they had 380 ammo because no other store on the planet has ammo(COVID-19 shortage). The guy says yes we have 2 boxes left. I say great how much? He say ugh! $25! I say ok great! Can you hold them for me? He says No! And hangs up. Then I call back to let him know my dad is going to pick them up and I asked if they were hollow point. He says..UGH! LADY! Hold on! Then he comes back to the phone and says NO! And hangs up again. If these weren’t the only two boxes of ammo left in the world I would have not even considered buying anything from this raggedy dump! But I am noticing some similarities in the customers that have experienced bad service at this hole in the wall.

Great store and great resource. The owner spent half an hour going over how to mount a scope, and I didnt buy anything that day - just a real helpful guy! May not have a lot of inventory, but what he has is nice stuff and priced fairly - not cheap, not high - FAIR. Inventory changes on a regular basis, so it is a good idea to stop by when you are in the area - I learn something every time I stop by!

I like puffin..i go in a lot he makes me feel welcome in his store weather in buying guns ammo parts or even just looking..he is very blunt but honest about his business..does not sugar coat anything..him and other gun shops are severely losing business to online sales they need fellow gun builders support..

Great Great service. Was on the fence for a while about purchasing a handgun. I purchased a m&P Shield and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with the process and put my mind at ease. Very friendly and We will be purchasing a firearm for my wife in the near future from him.

Cool place nice owner. First time coming here. I never knew there was a gun shop here until I ordered online and found out they were cheaper than Shootys Choice to pick up stuff at. They had a higher quality selection of AR stuff than Shooters Choice and by higher quality I mean they werent selling marked up NCstar made in china stuff. So thats a plus if I need to get something locally Ill check them out first for sure next time.

Went in was talking to the man about ar15 and parts told him i was looking for a muzzle brake he sells me one. But it turns out its for an ar10 went back to excange he says no. Wont ever come here again.

I called and asked if they carried ammunition because I have found in the past you can call a gun shop and ask something and travel out of your way to go just to find out they do not really have what you need. Anyway the person on the phone said yeah we have ammunition its a gun shop. I asked do you carry round balls or maxi balls .45 cal. He says no, we dont really carry that type of stuff here. Oh, I thought you would have the ammo I needed because its a gun shop right. I hung up after that. I will assume customer service sucks just as bad in person. Note to gun salesman, if you do not know everything about every gun do not assume what a persons needs are while they are shopping at your business.

Called to have a shotgun taped for a scope the gunsmith told he wasnt set up for that yet and he would be in 40 days.Not sure what kind of gunsmithing they do but thats a rather simple request
