Few times we have noticed the stock being very old but we usually choose to pick whatever better option was available. This last time we bought the machine tea, all we got was hot water as the masala was over. When we asked is this right, the response was like “yeah that’s how it is” without even looking at it. We had to throw the tea as it was not consumable. Saw a detached response from the owner, not very professional.

Nice place and had majority of the spices available. Prices too seemed reasonable compared to shops in other locations.

We are experiencing stale dairy items like yoghurt and paneer from last few months.I am not the only one who suffered with this issue, there are other too. People can go in review section and check.Anyways it should be a trust factor . No one gonna lie for $5 product and its not going to make big difference to anyones pocket. Its only going to make difference for business in terms of: future purchase, word of mouth marketing and loss of customer.You cant say that I came after 2 weeks because you dont believe that I bought it from your store. One cannot keep receipt for everything considering item will fail or go bad (again this is a trust factor) specially with dairy items.

Try driving for 10 mins more and visit any other shop in Harris park. Avoid this store as the prices are double as compared to any other Indian grocery store.

Great service at the store. Staff members are always ready to help. This store has most of the products needed in Indian kitchens and the store owner is happy to order in more variety of stock when needed.Ps they have the BEST samosas

The owner especially is very courteous and friendly, they make sure they have quality stuff.The shop is fully loaded with all that one would need from an Indian grocery.One reason I have given 4 stars is because your fridges in the freezer section are dirty ( not the standing ones).I did complain to one of the staff but he didnt bother listening to what I had to say... Not good especially when the couple who own the place are super responsive..

It only takes one bad incident to lose a customer for life. And today that happened with me at Namaste Spices. I have been a regular at the shop for over 1.5 years since it started as its a neat shop with good abundant supplies of Indian food for which I had to travel far to buy. The Proprietor(Male) is pleasing person with always a smile on his face. Unfortunately the same can not be said for the other Owner(Female) which made sure a simple quality issue which could be reported and offered a refund for the bad items, turns into an unfortunate argument. According to her buying two boxes is stockpiling and their No Exchange no policy for all items is for customers like me who try to fake issues to return items. I even requested a Credit note as I am a regular to the shop but it fell to deaf ears. The purchased product had Hair in it which shouldve been attended immediately but rather I was shown the way to the door to take my issue wherever I can as per her, none of the Indian retail shops in Sydney offer any refunds/exchanges to customers and we have to go back to the manufacturer to sort out issue. What an Amazing customer service indeed ! One Star is for the Male owner as he truly deserves it. I am attaching the pics of the issue here for all my Indian friends and families to review as well and take precaution.

Never ever i will buy yogurt from this shop again.Had bad experience not once but 3 times.Everytime i bought yogurt from here was sour and thrown without able to consume it.

Very poor customer service. I mistakenly bought a wrong product and wanted to exchange it the same day, but the owner bluntly refused to exchange, inspite of showing the bill. Obviously, there was no justification on why the refunds are not allowed.This shop is even pricier than the other options available in Epping. Stay away!

A place for a good selection of Indian, Sri Lankan and sub continent spices

Great customer experience, very friendly staff, clean store. The prices are very competitive and at par with Parramata, Harris Park, Wentworthville. My one stop shop for all groceries, basic veggies and great variety of ready to eat food items and the shop is at a convenient location with ample parking opposite the store. The owners are very welcoming and I find myself going back very often.

Proprietor is very friendly. Prices are a tad higher compared to shops in other suburbs like Flemington, Homebush, paramatta and Srathfield. Its convenient for people from Marsfield, North Ryde, Macquarie Park and surroundings.

Good price for everything

I bought a dosa idli batter, it had gone bad and I went back and got another brand but then this also had gone bad. I just thrower it away instead of going back again to shop keeper. Not recommended to buy batter here
