Had appointment window 8am-12pm. Took my work day off until 2pm. At 11;20 no show no 30 minute call ahead. i called company. No apologies, lady said hes late. (however no one called me). She said he will be there within 1 hour. He should up 1.5 hours later. I now had to cancel my entire work day. talked to him, he had no apology, and he started work. After a while I went out to check on him, he was gone without calling me, ringing my door bell, nothing. I guess will see if the new windshield leaks during the next rain. Its sad they cant even get an arrival time accurate within a 4 hour window or at least apologize for wasting your entire day. Theres no care, no pride no good customer service but they want more money and demand more of everything for themselves but dont want to at least have decent customer service..

They were ABSOLUTELY wonderful. I needed my rear view mirror put back on after several tries on my on but failing. I couldnt ask for more kindness.

Had a rock chip in the glass on my 2006 Sierra. Raymond came out right to my workplace, he was on time and had the windshield replaced in about 45 mins in the parking lot while i was inside working. New shield looks great, he did a great job installing it and he was super cool. 5 stars from me!

Dalton at Safelite AutoGlass did a great job today! He replaced my windshield, texted me when he was getting close and when he got here (which is great because I was on meetings and couldnt actually talk on the phone). He walked me through the entire process, and let me know key things about replacing the windshield (stickers, toll passes, etc.) and also maintenance for the next 24 hours. Very professional, and very patient as my wifes dog tried very hard to talk over him when he stopped by to let me know it was all finished. Would definitely recommend Dalton and Safelite to anyone needing rock chip repairs or windshield replacements (also Glenn was great too!).

Everything went as planned. There was an insurance hiccup, but I only had to call my insurance company in front of him and no charge to me was honored.

We were travelling home from a vacation in the Fort Myers area when our windshield was damaged by road debris on the interstate. After checking with insurance, who set us up with an appointment with Safelite in our home town (no local appointments were available and we needed to get home). We found this Safelite location was really close to where we were, so we stopped by to see if they had any suggestions and make sure it was safe to drive the 800+ miles home. The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful and professional. He went out and looked at the windshield and had one of the guys pull the vehicle into the garage and vacuum the shards of glass inside the vehicle and then place crash wrap on the window. While they were working on that, he called some of the other locations to see if they had the windshield available so it could be replaced sooner. None were available, but he was confident we could make the drive home with no issues. I offered to pay for their services, but he said nothing was needed, they just wanted us to get home safely.We kept an eye on it the whole time and the temporary wrap held perfectly. We were able to get home safely and are waiting for the windshield installation appointment tomorrow.I cant vouch for the actual installation services of this location, but the professionalism and helpfulness of the employees was outstanding.

I had my vehicle towed to this location at 7am this morning. When I picked my vehicle up the glass they swept was not swept. Which is awful considering I called first to ask if my dog was safe to ride or did I need to get more glass cleaned out. They installed the wrong window. I went back angry. I kept a calm voice but did use the F expletive. In the time it took to remove the incorrect window, the manager Carl Limb explained to me my dead husband should have divorced me. Another gentlemen informed me I was ridiculous or crazy. A quick stop to Toyota confirmed the window was infact incorrect. They set me up immediately at Auto GlassRX. They ordered the correct glass, came to my location and charged $200 out the door. BTW SAFELIGHT charged $356.75 if youre wondering. They wasted a full day of my time. I felt uncomfortable as the manager Carl berated me in front of 5 male employees. I would never recommend this place. I hope their corporate sees this and puts and end to the condescending males running that store. Its shameful.

Great piece of glass. Really poor customer service. Tech scared my wife as he never contacted her before the appointment to replace the windshield on our 2018 Chevy Silverado. Service writer said tech would call and send pic of employee I.D. before he would arrive to do the work at my wifes office. Tech startled my wife as she caught sight of the hood open on the truck. Tech never announced he was there, just went in our truck without telling anyone he was there. Tech did do a clean job, gotta give him that. However he did not have my wife sign for completed work (insurance pay). So that really seems weird. Tech didnt give wife business card or anything to show who was there. This Tech should be careful as most people love their trucks and will protect them from people sneaking around like that.

They installed a glass in my matrix. Glass leaks from the very top. It has ruined the roof of the car. Be aware, if you get your glass replaced by them, run a water hose over the top of the windshield. Its the second car done by them that leaks. Now my whole car is ruined there is water in my car every time it rains.

Wow, they are quick. The say 3 hours, but these guys are great. 50 minutes, no kidding. The only way to go.

First let start off by saying I never write reviews on Google but this company is so HORRIBLE I had to.First tech came to my house on a Saturday and was here no more than 10 minutes and he broke my windshield, then he scheduled me for Thursday to have it replaced and Thursday came no one showed up. Then I received a text saying it was rescheduled for Friday between 8 and 12 and guess what no showed again!!! Whats most disturbing is I have not received 1 phone call from this so called business yet no apology no response nothing!! This is the worst company ive ever dealt with and NEVER use them again!

My main gripe is that when you try to call the shop, you are routed to the national call center and put on endless hold and not able to speak to the people working on your car. The staff in the shop were very helpful.

Rear glass they installed on my corvette leaks and they gave me a hassle about coming out to redo their work. The person who had called to reset the appointment was ignorant and arrogant on the phone and was not very professional on the phone. I’ve done business with these people before and didn’t have a problem until I had a leak and they didn’t want to fix their problem. I would not recommend them to fix a child’s play house let alone someone’s vehicle.

Theyve replaced my cracked windshield but didnt seal it right (as I found out later) so it developed the leak all throughout the top of the windshield damaging my headliner as well as 12V power outlets on the dashboard. The technician who came to the warranty appointment told me that they didnt put enough glue the first time thats why it was leaking. After replacing the windshield the tech took pictures of the damaged headliner and dashboard to show to his manager to get approval for repair. Its been almost 3 weeks since and Ive made multiple attempts to contact the manager of this store to get my headliner and dashboard fixed but he never seems to be available and not returning phone calls ether. Im very disappointed with the level of costumer service.

Today 11/12/20, while waiting for my glass to get repaired, I had plenty of time for other Google reviews, but I decided to wait until this windshield glass replacement was done to write a review of Safelite at this location (that’s the way it should be done anyway). Yesterday, as soon as I realized there was a crack in my front window, I called to my car insurance company MetLife (I guess they are primarily a life insurance company for its name, just realized now… but they were outstanding too, and I think I should write another separate review for them too). The MetLife clerk said they will pay 100% for my windshield glass without deductible (in Florida, and only for windshield glasses, auto insurance companies are required not to demand a deductible for these glasses, but not for other side glasses, from what I understand, but of course, this make the car insurances policies a little bit more expensive at the end, there is no such a thing as a free breakfast).The thing is that later today I have a one-hour trip, and thus I needed to get my car’s glass fixed yesterday. I knew the main issue was to get a shop with that Toyota Corolla 2009 front glass part available or in their stock. I tried to call several shops, but they wouldn’t have the part right away, some of them can get the part overnight though. When I first called this company, I hanged up because of the automation answer (I hate automated calls with passion), but when I realized from the local Toyota dealer that this was one of the biggest glass companies in town, I had no choice but to play the phone recording game with them.Thus, I called and eventually I got a real person on the other side of the phone (it was no that bad after all). She said that she was going to get me an appointment that same day (yesterday), but by the time I gave her all my insurance info, she said that something must have happened and that she first said she thought the appointment was taken by somebody else while we were in the phone, but later she clarified it was a weather issue (she seemed to be in another state, and she clarified the issue later from an automated warning message she saw in her computer about the wonderful Florida weather we had yesterday), and thus that I have to wait for today (the weather issue was entirely true because we had Hurricane Eva yesterday, and I think there was a weather warning of some type).So today, I came to the shop and the 2-hour appointment took less than one hour. Everybody was kind very early in the morning (including the front desk clerk was kind and pleasant, but he seemed to need some coffee – not as bad as me because I was half sleep when I got there too :). The guy who fixed my glass was all in full motion though, and he was also very kind like the front desk clerk, and he explained to me that I had life-time warranty for this glass as long as I own the vehicle (which I am planning to do).Thus, in summary, even though the first impression with the automated phone call was not the best (the young lady who eventually handled my phone call was very kind though), this company ended up being very effective, fast and with first-quality service. Like I said, they were going to give me the service the very same day yesterday when I called, but they don’t have control of the hurricanes.I will update this review in the future if I have an issue with the glass, but I dont think I will need too. So far, it deserves the 5 stars.

Overpriced and not very helpful they say they work on auto glass yet they cant do anything with a son or moonroof nor can they tell you where to go

They did the job correctly and thankfully I had a $40 off coupon so I ended up getting a replacement for a fair price. They claimed in my receipt that my car was vacuumed inside and my windows were cleaned but none of that was done. My car had black dust and dirt all over the place from where they were working so it ended up being dirtier than when I brought it in to get repaired. My advice especially because you make this claim in your statement for the company would be to make sure the job gets completely done from start to finish every time.

I called on a Tuesday for a Friday appointment and they wait 20mins before 5pm to tell me they can’t make it! I lost out on work which means money and an upset boss that falls on me! And the tech told me the over booked him for 7 window shield which is impossible for them to do in one day, I have that in text message! So why was I not called way before 20mins of closing time which NOT ONE PERSON answered the phone to reschedule! Since Tuesday my windshield has continued to cracked right across my eye level!

The installer had trouble getting our cars accident avoidance system to sync up with the new windshield. He stayed long after closing and the manager called us first thing the next morning to let us know everything was taken care of.

Got the referral from progressive insurance. They sent easy emails to remind of the appointment, check in was easy and they pointed out things before they replaced the windshield. They took the time to carefully remove my gate sensor and did a pretty good job of preserving it. Good experience. Their scheduling by web showed a morning appointment, but took them most of day to get it done.

2006 F350 with crack in windshield. Called company, they ran insurance then came out. Once on site the guy noticed I had placed silicone on top portion of rubber strip gasket seal. I informed the guy I placed it there right after first sign of a water drip. No drips after for 1 year. Refused to pull windshield because “there might be rust and we can not set new windshield back onto rust”. Which makes sense. I said remove it and I’ll deal with the rust “if” there was any. Still wouldn’t. Called another local company, next day new windshield. No rust. Not to mention if I were to had paid cash they were more expensive. Recommend checking elsewhere!

Came to my work 12/11 to look at my windshield and said I would need it replaced, rather than repaired and assured me it would be free, which it was. Came back out 12/12 and Ricci installed my new windshield and wipers super quick and it looks awesome. Would highly recommend!

I brought in my jeep windshield frame and a brand new windshild for them to install. But because I didnt buy their windshild they would not install it. Took it to a family owned company and they did a fantastic job. This Is a jeep. We break alot of windshields driving the trails. Do you want to guess where I take my jeep next time? Think safelight is more interested in collecting from insurance companies than it is in basic customer service.

Amazing place! Does an superb job on their windshield replacements. I walked in alittle early, they took my keys and immediately started on my Tacoma. Did the replacement very quick but through. My experience with them was bad, i went there to have my driver seat window checked because it stop working and making a weird sound everytime i push the button, the night before i went to safelite my window glass doesn’t have cracks, i know because I accidentally push the glass all the way down that night trying to put it up this happen before on my other window and it only need to change the regulator because cables was messed up. So, after they checked and found the problem they told me i need glass window as well at that time i just thought maybe something broke from the bottom of the glass window and gave me the estimate price of the window glass which is double the price from what i search online, i told them to hold it off for now, and i went to check on other shop who sells the same thing and i did found better price, when all my auto parts arrived and time to do repair i was with the guy who will my fix my window i was surprised when he was telling me that somebody Hit the top of the window so i looked and saw that the crack wasn’t there before Safelite and the crack was from when you pry or forcely open a glass window. Mechanic said normally if regulator brakes window glass remains ok, but my case someone damge my window.

Very prompt: Called yesterday inquiring about a full windshield replacement. Was given an appt for today. Ricci arrived on time, was courteous and professional. New windshield is beautiful. Cleanly done. He even made sure to pull my oil change sticker from old and replaced on new. Very happy!

I was able to schedule the service through my auto insurance app. They came to my place of work which was really convenient. I received a phone call from the technician that morning, along with an email from Safelite with a picture of my technician and confirming my time slot. I also received an email that allowed me to follow the technician when he was on his way to me, along with a call from him telling me he was on his way. Very easy and personable service keeping me fully informed all along the way.

Scheduling to come out was a bit of a pain vs. going in, but my tech was super communicative and dis a good job. Im working this almost a month after, and my windshield is still attached (so theres that).

Ive never had to replace my windshield but after making my appointment with safelite in Fort Myers, Florida my technician was out at my residence on time the very next day. Not only was he informative and polite, he was professional and very knowledgeable about what he was doing. He didnt mind me watching and asking questions and shared empathy to my situation. He was quick and efficient making sure to pay attention to detail. By the time he was done my car looked better than when I purchased it. I had checked with several different companies and even with 150.00 discount at one company safelite was still cheaper out of pocket and without insurance. I would reccomend this company especially the technician that fixed my car to anyone looking to get a winshield fixed or any other services they provide. Great Job!!!

Got. Windshield crack while traveling. They fixed it quickly and the tech saved me money by using the old windshield clips. Very friendly staff and great service.

The worst ever possible. Showed up 6 hours late. Never heard from store we had to call in. They never called to give us techs name. Tech left home without saying he was done. Went to look at job and found glass not installed correctly, black crap all over car. After many phone calls got to store manager. New windshield leaks water and air. said I need to bring to shop for proper fix. Set appointment for 3 days later. They never called, manager suggested find another glass company, so we did. New glass guys work perfect, stated previous works was one of the worst they have seen in a while. NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE. Tell insurance when they suggest Safe light that you want someone else. He made sure I had the right windshield needed for my Outback which has the Eye View Camera and he was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The tech who installed the glass was also very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I am a snowbird from Canada and was concerned about who to use for windshield replacement. Safelite did a great job and I would use them again.

I scheduled an appointment with safelite for a glass replacement two weeks ago. They came to my work but by the time they got there it was about to rain so I rescheduled. The next time the technician came out, he was scheduled from 8-12 but didnt show up to my work until 2pm. He didnt go to the front office to request me and he ended up leaving without replacing my glass which I learned about later after checking my phone around 3. I rescheduled again. This time I spent the entire day waiting for them since they gave me a time frame from 8am to 5pm. By the time they arrived in the afternoon, it was pouring. I canceled the appointment and am going with a different company for my windshield replacement. I told them I didnt have a garage. Knowing this and the weather in Florida, they should have made an effort to get a technician here before noon. Also, when I called about the guy leaving without making an effort to reach me, his boss started making excuses for him which I did not appreciate, especially after changing my appointment time altogether. I dont recommend this company. They are extremely unreliable. Not worth the headache.
