I loved loved Laura Jacobs Bridal. The ladies working there are the sweetest and so passionate about their work, you can tell they love what they do. Laura was actually the one who gave me the dress I purchased to try on. I got an amazing dress and veil at such a steal and everyone including myself love my dress. Their alteration charge is also great, $395 max on alteration, you can’t go wrong with that. Highly recommend this place over and over again.

Laura Jacobs Bridal is a fantastic shop! You can tell that the owner Loretta truly loves what she does, and that goes a long way in an industry like this. The dresses at her shop are carefully picked and displayed very nicely. She helped me try on several different dresses, and really took the time to understand the look I was going for. I found a dress I really liked at another shop and I spent quite a bit of time trying decide between that one and the one I found at Laura Jacobs. Haley didnt rush me, or pressure me to make a choice, she simply talked me through the differences between the dresses and let me decide!After I made my decision, Haley helped me try on a few different accessories like headbands and veils. Needless to say, a week after my purchase, I am still head over heels about the dress I chose. Laura is AMAZING! Her selection of dresses is awesome and even better she helps you sort through them by meeting your individual needs! She allowed my grandparents to come to my 2nd fitting since they cant be at the wedding and we were able to have that private time as a family and I even did my dance with my dad for them! Let me just begin by saying this; Victoria and Barb are wonderful. My daughter and I came into the store to find a dress for mom. But as my daughter was looking through the dresses, they offered to also help her try on three dresses as well. She found THE dress that day because of their keen eye. The quality of the wedding gowns and brides maids dresses is fantastic. I really didnt find the right style for me, but I wish I had. I was so happy with LJB that I wanted to patronize their shop. You wont regret making this store one of your first stops in your search for your wedding day.

Loretta and her team are out of this world! I searched everywhere for my wedding dress, traveled to go to different shops in search of the dress I was dreaming of. I kept being told I needed a custom dress and there was no dress made like what I was describing. Everyone was right, partially, I walked into Laura Jacobs Bridal and was welcomed with open arms and so were all my loved ones that I brought along with me. I found my dress at Laura Jacobs, but it needed ALOT of work. It was 14 sizes too big and could no longer be ordered, I was promised they could get it to my size and make it perfect. By perfect that meant to add detachable sleeves and create the most gorgeous bustle Ive ever seen. Also, I purchased 2 veils from Loretta and they turned one into my blusher for me and used the extra lace for my sleeves. Yulia (spelling) created my dream gown and worked extremely hard to do so. My mom found her dream MOB dress at Laura Jacobs as well. We feel like family when we go there and they are honest, loyal, and overall just amazing individuals. I cannot wait to send everyone I know to them. I already have multiple girlfriends who have found their wedding dresses here and have had the same experience. Yulia can sound a little stern in her tone, but she is a doll and knows her Sh***T! We adore you all, thank you soooo much!

I purchased a Martina Liana gown from Laura Jacobs back in June 2018 while on vacation with my family who live in Ft. Myers. My wedding was November 9, 2019, which was a bit early to be shopping for a dress, but with a hectic work schedule I wasnt sure when the next opportunity would be to shop with my Mom, Dad and now Mother-in-Law.From the start, the consultants in the shop were so nice and helpful! They were not pushy at all and chose dresses for me to try based on my preferences.We told them our budget and when my father chose a gown off the rack that was over our budget, our consultant showed him the price tag before letting me try it on to ensure he was okay with the price before putting it on me. He confirmed that he was okay with the price and then when I put it on we ALL knew it was the PERFECT dress for me! We ordered my dress and veil right then and there and were quickly on our way to celebrate with a mimosa next door.A few months later I returned to pick up my gown, which was a little large on me, but to be expected as they choose a size based on your largest body part (mine being my bust). I lost about 20lbs over the next 7 months and started to become quite worried about beginning my alterations. Sadly, I could not have my alterations done at Laura Jacobs since I live on the East coast of FL and work 6 days per week, so I took my dress to another bridal shop near my home.HUGE MISTAKE! But how could I have known?!Needless to say, after three fittings, it was the end of October, only 10 days until my wedding day and my wedding dress did not fit me properly, even though I had not lost any weight during my fittings. The other shop refused to perform additional alterations to make it fit me better and would not give me my dress without paying them. My mom and I were so distraught.We called Laura Jacobs and spoke to the owner, Loretta, who we told what had happened. She was so sweet and accommodating! She re-assured us everything would be okay and had us come in as soon as I arrived to Ft. Myers on the Monday of my wedding week to take a look at my dress. She admitted to me that the other shop charged us an obscene amount of money for very poor alterations and bustling, but said she would do everything in her power to make my dress fit me comfortably. This wasnt an easy task as the entire top of my dress was HUGE on me and the sides needed inches taken in. Loretta took my dress to her HOME that Monday and had me return Wednesday afternoon to try it on. It fit like a glove! And she even fixed my entire bustle!I WAS SO HAPPY I WAS IN TEARS! Literally!After everything we had just experienced with the other store, we were so happy with how kind and caring Laura Jacobs was with us. She literally saved my wedding dress! She will forever be my fairy godmother. THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS, Laura Jacobs! I will never forget all you did for us. You have my highest recommendation!

My mom and I were looking at dresses through the window and the owner came out and asked if we needed anything. She was rude and told us we must make appointment. So we did which was a huge mistake. At my appointment she began by asking detailed questions and trying to get information on other local shops which I thought wasn’t professional but just ignored her. I tried on 10 dresses at my appointment and was undecided between 2. I was told she was writing my top 3 down in my file. I called to book second appointment and let them know I was between the 2 and wanted to re-try them on. My parents came to appointment with me as we planned to buy. When we walked in at appointment time there was no greeting then after a minute Barb said rudely ‘can I help you?’ I told her I was there for my appointment. She said she could not find my file and asked me to show her a picture. I showed her the dress and she told me they sold that sample so she did not have it for me to try on. She could have told me this when I scheduled. All she could find as a ‘file for me’ was a piece of paper that said sold to and showed me the persons name of who they sold the dress to. Barb had 1 dress out for me and it was not even 1 of the 10 I had tried on my original visit. She said oh it’s close. We ended up leaving very disappointed. A few hours later Laura called to follow-up on my visit but really just called to argue with me. I tried to explain the situation but she wouldn’t stop talking over me to listen. So I just listened and when she finished instead of asking my thoughts she started talking to someone else in the shop and said ‘oh she hung up on me anyways.’ Well I had not and could hear her unprofessionally speaking. Her phone call to follow-up with me made it worse. Nothing was solved I just now know she is just as unprofessional and rude as Barb was. The dresses are beautiful but I cannot even believe how bad the experience was. Glad I found out before ordering a dress from them and needing to deal with them again.

This was my third appointment of the day and had I known at the beginning of the day what I know now, I would have made this my first and only stop. Loretta and two other consultants were all on hand and prepared for my appointment (including having chairs already set up for each member of my entourage). They were all so helpful and professional! The appointment began with my entourage and I being asked to look through the dresses at the front of the salon for ideas. Then one of the consultants started pulling dresses, both from the front that we liked, and additional ones from the stockroom that were similar to those we thought we were looking for, and some vastly different ones. After trying on a few that we picked and not liking any of them, the consultants recommended a particular dress that I would never have considered and didnt particularly like on the hanger. Once it was on, it looked very pretty, but it wasnt the one. The consultant told me to go show my entourage the dress and that she had a trick up her sleeve. I showed them and they all liked it - then the consultant completely transformed the dress by adding another piece. Instantly, I and everyone in my entourage knew that was my dress. Their creativity astounded me and I cannot express how impressed I am! Loretta also worked with me on the price of all the necessary pieces and adjustments so that all told, the cost of everything (even including the tax) was less than the price originally marked on the dress alone. Laura Jacobs Bridal is absolutely outstanding and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a dress!Update: I meant to update my review after my wedding, but completely forgot. Anyhow, my entire experience was amazing! I lost over 60 pounds between purchasing my dress and the beginning of alterations and Loretta herself altered my dress to perfection so that I wouldn’t have to make another purchase. Add to that the fact that my second last fitting was scheduled for the day that Hurricane Irma hit. Knowing it was coming and we were evacuating, Loretta had me come in as I was leaving town to make the last alterations right then and there so I could take my dress with me. Then when I came back after the hurricane, she called me in again before her store even had electricity so that she could double check the dress and see if anything else needed to be done.

Victoria and Loretta were absolutely WONDERFUL!!! I can’t say enough good things about this place. As soon as I walked in, I felt like I was the only bride that had ever mattered and felt so special. I said Yes to the dress today and was absolutely blown away by Laura. I told her what I wanted and she gave her professional opinion and absolutely loved every moment of the appointment. I met Laura at the bridal show few weeks ago and told her I felt like I was plus size bride and needed to know if she had dresses that would fit. She point me in right direction of looking at plus size dress, booked appointment and now I have a beautiful dress for my wedding in November ordered. I had a great experience at Laura Jacobs. It was my first time trying on wedding dresses and they did a great job picking samples based on the pictures of what I was looking for. They were very helpful with the decision making process and I am very happy with the dress selection. Great experience!

Long story short, owner was great. Tailor was extremely rude. For example, she told me and my friend to not speak Spanish, horrible attitude, very defensive . Sells person Barb was very snobby and rude, even worst than the tailor because her job as a sales person is to have good customer service. Instead of trying to smooth things down and trying to apologies for unfair treatment I was given, she care around to make it worst by being very very snobby. I’m just so out of words they can control that ugly attitude with most people. I did witness Barb being a totally different person when Laura was present. Just feel sad for how there are people like that they feel they can talk to others just because of their persecution or who knows their reasoning behind it .Otherwise, beautiful dresses, and I love my dress. I would totally recommend the store due to the dresses but be aware.

We went to choose my daughter in law bridal dress and it was an exceptional.experience. First the welcoming by the owner, her experience (this lady knows her business), her caring for the bride to be while trying each dress. Laura thank you for your time and everything for Alex. This was the best experience! From the moment I walked in to the moment I left with my dream dress, I was taken care of. This was our last stop for dress shopping so you can imagine I was pretty burnt out. Loretta was so kind and patient with me as I went through endless dresses and was very attentive to my needs and concerns. So much so that she pulled a dress that wasn’t even on the floor yet to show me and gave me to try. Although I didn’t choose that particular dress, it really showed that she puts her brides first and cares. I ended up picking a stunning Martin Thornburg. And even though I thought the dress was perfect, my mother asked for some very specific alterations and Loretta told us that not only was it very possible to make this happen but then proceeded to show us and give us ideas for the final look. That level of service just doesn’t exist anymore but I’m happy and thankful I got to experience it with Laura Jacobs.

When searching for my wedding dress, Laura Jacobs was the fourth stop and by far the best. Their selection was impressive and I ended up buying both my dress and veil from Laura Jacobs. I mostly worked with the owner, Loretta, and she was knowledgeable and listened to every one of my questions/concerns when it came to alterations. My alterations were completely stress-free and I could not have been more happy with my dress the day of the wedding. 10/10 recommend Laura Jacobs to any future brides!

DO NOT count on them for your wedding. When my dress came in, it was very difficult to schedule the fitting, and was told the seamstress was going to be gone and the dress “should be fine” after all the alterations were made. Well, at the wedding, I put on the dress, the entire busy alterations we NOT completed. Thankfully the coordinator was able to fix it for pictures, but that’s about it.I called to give them a chance to do the right thing, and take something off for the incomplete job. I was told I would get a call back. Over a week went by and no call back.I called again and I was asked what I wanted. I responded that some of the alteration expense should be refunded. She quickly advised I should have tried on the dress prior to leaving, and that was that. I tried to be reasonable and explain that I was advised their seamstress was not going to be available at pickup, and I was provided limited time to come in for the fitting. The lady on the phone (the owner) advised policy is once the dress leaves the building, it’s not their problem.I wouldn’t count on them for your wedding or special occasion!

Jackie was the absolute best! I went in just “looking” for dresses with my mom on vacation, but ended up finding my dream dress. It wasn’t a huge selection but I actually preferred it because I got to pick out all my own (mostly hehe). We started with a style I thought I wanted and ended up with a different one that I had liked. Jackie was patient as I tried on all the other dresses to make sure I had the right one. She gave wonderful advice and I am so happy to have had the experience and find such an amazing dress!

Fantastic bridal salon. Great selection and excellent assistance. On our initial visit, we had planned to look at 2 other shops after Laura Jacobs. There was zero pressure by Loretta, but based on her wealth of knowledge that she imparted to us and the excellent selection, we said Yes to the Dress that day! This is an amazing Bridal Boutique and the staff are extremely professional. I was having a difficult time deciding on a dress and I had several appointments here with many of the staff and at each one I was always greeted with kindness and willingness to listen to my needs, educate me on the different styles and fabrics without overwhelming me. The women here are gracious, intelligent and care about making a bride feel beautiful in every dress, all while finding her the perfect dress. The owner is always around and quick to lend an extra hand, if needed. All the staff go above and beyond the standard of customer service and although I didnt find the perfect one for me at this boutique I will definitely recommend them to all my friends and family. I cannot say thank you to all the staff members here enough for helping me on my search for the dress that was the one for me!

While this shop is beautiful and does carry gorgeous dresses, I was absolutely shocked at the limited selection of “larger sizes” and how you had to be brought to the back to view them. All brides regardless of size should be made to feel like they are beautiful and worthy of the dresses displayed up front. Not shamed for choosing a dress only to be told it’s not made for a bride of that frame.

Laura Jacobs Bridal is amazing in every way. They saved the day when I was going through a serious dress crisis another shop caused when they never ordered the original dress I chose, and left me without a gown two months before my wedding. Laura Jacobs Bridal came to my rescue and found a dress 1000000000x better than the original dress I found at the other shop. Fantastic customer service! I first visited Laura Jacobs to try on wedding dresses, and while I ultimately purchased my dress elsewhere, my experience at Laura Jacobs was nothing short of amazing. I had an appointment today and was truly blown away. It was my first time trying on dresses and I was so nervous. I was quickly put at ease and found such an amazing dress I never thought I would like. Laura is so knowledgeable and welcoming. It was an amazing experience.

It was a great place to find my Mother of the Groom dress! The selection they had and the service they provided were both excellent. Julie, who handled the alterations for me, was fantastic! The dress fit me prefectly...and I received so many compliments on my dress at the wedding!

Rene was the best!! I tried so many dresses and went into the shop really discouraged,i almost didnt even try any on.I talked to Rene for about 5 min and then she pulled what she thought and said trust her. Second dress and it was the 1. She made me feel comfortable and excited and wonderful. Was the best experience. I wish I had started there.

First like to say the lady who runs the place is nice to customers however i dont think its appropriate to argue with your co workers and talk down to them in front of customers.Second off the tailor who works there is absolutely rude to the customers, she told my sister on her first visit for her dress that shes to fat and if she wants the dress to look good she needs to lose weight well a month later after the took her alterations we go back for her to try her dress on one more time and to take it home. however, thats not how the evening went... she asked my sister if she ate ice cream before she came then asked if she did not feel good cause she looked sad right afterwards. Little does she know that my sister lost 5 lbs and was not feeling good but was excited to pick up her gown and take it home. But that did not come true because the lady missed a few things okay rant over.

Horrible customer service. I really love their gowns but their service was awful. We were told that we were not welcome to look for bridesmaids dresses since our bride had found a wedding dress somewhere else.

I can tell that Laura really cares about her Brides and their experience in her salon. Due to living out of state, I had to get my alterations done within a week and Yulia, the seamstress, did a phenomenal job!!! I cannot be happier with how my dress turned out; it is as if the gown was handmade for my body! All of my worries for the dress are gone. I cannot thank Yulia enough for all of her hard and detailed work!! 10/10 recommend! Thank you Laura Jacobs Bridal for a great experience!

All of the employees are so friendly and helpful and the owner, Loretta (Laura) is lovely and is willing to help meet ones budget. Im so glad I was able to purchase my gorgeous gown from such an amazing little family owned bridal shop. I highly recommend to anyone seeking anything bridal related.

Loretta and her husband were so helpful throughout my experience. I chose the second dress I tried on and it arrived 3 weeks early giving us plenty of time for alterations. I have 2 friends who have gotten married since that have also used Laura Jacobs bridal and loved it as well.

This store carries Pronovias which is my favorite bridal dress brand. I was able to find my dream dress thanks to the help of Laura. She is so wonderful and very flexible with our fitting times. She is so experienced as well when it comes to everything wedding related. Its an amazing store!

If you are looking for gorgeous selections, wonderful service, and meticulous alterations- this should be your first stop (and I’m sure it will be your last).When I started my dress search, I went to several in other cities and in this area and, while there were some beautiful dresses, I never found a great variety of beautiful yet unique gowns with the level of detail I was dreaming about. Then on a whim, I walked into Laura’s and that was it for me, I found my dress almost instantly! Her selection is curated wonderfully, and her tastes are incredible. There’s a little something of everything, from classic to current, mermaid to ball gown, and everything in between. My mom and my grandma each had the same fantastic experience when they shopped for their dresses too. The salon itself is filled with natural light and wonderful people, I never felt pressured or uncomfortable when trying on gowns; they listened to my budget and wishlist, they educated me on the differences between lines, body shapes, fabrics, you name it. After watching wedding dress shows, I was worried that finding everything I wanted in a dress would be impossible (especially while trying to stay on a budget) but Laura showed me a range of dresses that had absolutely everything and were so beautifully made, I was blown away. Now every time I walk in, I want to buy another dress because so many beautiful gowns are there!I was so nervous about my fitting and making sure the dress was perfect, but I shouldn’t have blinked an eye because Yuliya is the most skilled seamstress I’ve ever seen. Her work was impeccable and she was open to my requests but honest about each outcome, and the result was the perfectly tailored dress of my dreams. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Laura, Yuliya, and the whole salon!

Newly engaged and this was my first place to pop in to look for a dress. As soon as I walked in the owner shouted at me not to touch any of the dresses, to not even move them side to side to browse. She stated I own every one of these dresses and you will not touch them. So, I get it that some places prefer you make an appointment first... but how will I know if they have dresses I like if I can only look at the sides of the dresses? It was a strangely aggressive situation and I will let everyone I know that the owner is rude and it may have something to do with me being young, probably didnt take me seriously but thats on her--not me! Poor experience and since it was the owner Im sure it wouldnt get better with a second try. Safe to say she made my first dress experience a total failure.

Laura was wonderful! Every dress she picked out for me was beutiful. As soon as I signed in she took care of me and my two brides maids with champagne or water 👌 It was not stressing experience,I had so much fun debating which dress to pick I wanted them all! Laura knows her stuff, she is wonderful and very sweet! The place is extremely organized and clean which is a plus! Thanks so much for everything! Owner refused to let my daughter and her bridesmaids look for bridesmaid dresses because she wasnt buying her wedding dress there! My daughter was at her store BEFORE her appt time but the owner still charged her card a fee for missing her appt because she was not shopping for her wedding gown... while refusing to let her keep the appt for bridesmaid dresses! I will post this on my Facebook and let everyone i can know not to support this business.
