Great place to find that light or fan you want. We went looking and purchased five new fans to update the ones in our home. Very happy with the sales employee and her assistance. Also. they have a great selection and no gimmick. Very nice place to show.

Great selection and fun to browse, but prices are pretty steep. Salespeople follow you around the store and some old guy in the upstairs office yelled at my son for turning on a lamp. Second star is for the great selection of unique fixtures, but I wont be returning, purchasing, or recommending this place to others.

Drop down here from Port Charlotte area. Super glad we did! We were helped by Silvana (sales). Very friendly and helpful. After going to another place we came back here to purchase! They had the best selection in the showroom hands down! We bought a dining room chandelier and a outdoor front hanging light. Great prices and worth our drive. We also bought a picture and will be back to buy more once the house is done. They do have great affordable lights, fans, pictures and lamps.

Great experience all around! Sales staff were on point with all our questions and from order, to meeting one of the brothers with not just the common speak, he takes his time to get to know you. A true professional, will only buy lighting from small businesses like Brothers Lighting and Fan Gallery and recommend you do as well.

Replaced a perfectly good 15 year old builders grade fan with a $600 MinkaAire that started having problems after 18 months. MinkaAire wanted to sell me parts to fix it and Brothers didnt return my call. I like to buy from locals but theres no customer service anymore. Ill buy from a big box store or online from now on. Amazon offers a better service policy. We have spent a lot of money here and everything goes well while the credit card is getting swiped.

We have finished several different homes with lighting and fans purchased from Brothers, most recently our new lake home we are in the process of moving into. Great selection overall with countless high-end options. Gorgeous showroom with two stories of beautiful chandeliers and fans. This store has always been our go-to even though it is the longest drive of all the lighting places. The three star deduction is due to the salesperson we had this time around as our previous salesperson no longer works for them. This has been an ongoing issue for a month now and every single time we have been forced to call for status updates because the salesperson cannot be inconvenienced to pick up the phone. We needed additional rods for our dining room chandelier for which she double-charged us (only discovering this after looking at the credit card statement). The kitchen island pendants had tarnished rods (resulting in multiple shaded rods for each pendant) and had to be re-ordered but we had to keep calling and following up as she would never reach out to us, even when items were in. A few days ago I finally had to ask for a manager to get to the bottom of everything. The final straw was this morning (3/13/21) when the salesperson called to fill me in on the issues and, when I said thank you chose not to respond but to just hang up the phone on me. Her phone disposition on every single occasion has conveyed a clear message that she was inconvenienced over issues out of our control. It has reached a point in which I dread being forced to deal with her but we have spent a significant amount of money and need these status updates. We have long recommended Brothers Lighting and Fan gallery to our friends who have also purchased new homes but this time well be taking our business elsewhere. I find it disheartening that a salesperson who was more than happy to help us purchase thousands of dollars worth of lighting and fans would conduct herself in this manner after the sale.

This store is incredible! Stopped in to look at floor lamps (bought one!) and saw so many other items for the near future. Very unique. LeeAnn worked with us and was so very helpful and kind...no pressure. We will absolutely be back here. Stop and take a peek!

Went to look at track lighting for a kitchen remodel and was introduced to an alternative by Jan, one of the staff members.Ive never been a fan of LED lighting in most interior applications, but she immediately, understood my needs and went about educating me on the simplicity and flexibility of the BRIO light system. WOW.She saved me a great deal of time, not to mention a good chunk of change.In addition I stumbled upon a great deal on a chandelier as well.I went in just to see what they had and walked out with 8 new lights for the kitchen and a new chandelier. The selection of fixtures is amazing. I needed guidance for choosing a ceiling fan that would work in my Florida home with lower ceilings and the salesperson Liz solved my issues and helped me with the perfect fan. I ended up getting a new dining room pendant that changed the entire look of the room. Prices are excellent and the quality and designs are the best.

The variety of modern lights here is amazing. The open space 2 story showroom has plenty of unusual and interesting lights that are not at the big box stores. The staff was ready to help when needed. My only complaint is that they do.not really sell any parts, replacement items, glass shades or globes, which I think should be part of the inventory of any lighting store.

Certain orders keep being pushed out on delivery. Be careful ordering products that are not already sitting in a distribution centers in the USA. Otherwise, your orders being imported may be sitting on a dock waiting on customs to release.

Selection was good and not to crowded, the lighting displayed was a bit dated. Just enough displayed that it wasnt overbearing. Although very helpful and knowledgable, the hovering sales person definitely needs to allow some space.

We bought some outdoor fixtures that were Led. Gradually, the Led went out in both fixtures. Liz, who I think is the owner, had the Led replaced in both fixtures within just a few days. She is awesome. A great place that actually has customer service without giving you a hard time. They also have a great selection. I recommend them highly.

I just wanted to thank Liz for giving us such great service! We had gone to both a big box store and another independent in Bonita, but Liz gave us the best education in ceiling fan sizes and options for our new home. Love the Minka fans, theyre quiet and move a lot of air. Im now able to increase my thermostat 2 degrees and keep the same level of comfort.

Its very rare to find customer service that exceeds expectations. Liz at Brothers Lightining was above and beyond the absolute perfect example of amazing customer service. My wife and I are building a new house and shopping for lighting. We had done a lot of online looking but I like to see things in person. Two trips to Brothers using their wishlist and our entire home has new lights and we are so thankful. After I picked out my lights, Liz was able to ask me specific questions to find out the details I did not know that I needed. She compiled all the neccessary supporting hardware and items to make sure the fans and lights all hung at the proper heights for the ceiling heights, that the lights fit our bulb requirements(yes thats a thing-soft light/bright light, etc), and even more. She knows her stuff. Someone must have taught her well. The Woods are very appreciative!

This store has one of the most extensive selection of lighting in the area.You are greeted warmly when you arrive.Sales staff are extremely helpful in determining what you are looking for and making your shopping experience a great one.Never felt rushed or pressured to buy anything.The prices are fair for the extensive variety that they have. There is something for every budget.I highly recommend.

Great service! These guys have all types of quality lights and fans. There installation guy (Hidden Technology) is the cleanest service guy, I have every had in my house. He did a great job on my fans too. I would highly recommend Brothers Lighting and Hidden Technology, they are a great team.

Pricey place with elaborate fixtures. One salesperson tried to motivate me to buy a ceiling fan I came in to check out by saying there was a price increase soon coming. Wound up buying that same fan somewhere else 2 weeks later for 15 percent below the original Brothers price. Otherwise OK place if youre not budget constrained.

Sales lady we dealt with was very pleasant and helpful but the owner was extremely rude.We were in the process of checking out and the owner made a comment in front of other customers about the “Dirt Cheap” lighting fixtures (as he called them) we were buying.I called him out on his comment and then he began back pedaling and said “I misinterpreted what he said, and that it was ok for him to say that because he was the owner”. I understood his comment very clearly and it was rude. I asked him to stop trying to justify himself and he wouldn’t stop all while in front of another customer and a few employees.We were still considering the purchase but the more I thought it over we decided to leave. Why should I give this guy my hard earned money?Also if the fixtures are “Dirt Cheap” and the owner was willing to announce that to the store, why carry that product?

I purchased my lanterns here, great service with all Qs answered.

We paid $1100 for a ceiling fan that never worked properly from day 1. We contacted Brother Lighting and they gave us an attitude but sent someone to take a look. The tech said it was installed wrong, BUT after he said he fixed it the fan still turned very slowly. He told us that it was running the right speed for this particular fan. Even though there was little air movement. We went back to the store and turned on the SAME fan that we bought and it was obviously running at twice the speed. When we pointed this out we were given more attitude and were told we would have to pay someone to take the fan down and we would have to drive the 40 minutes back to the store for them to fix the fan. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN BROTHERS LIGHTING AGAIN!!! RUN AND DONT LOOK BACK

When I built my new home. I bought my Designer Light Fixtures from Brothers Lighting. Featured here is a Schonbek Crystal Chandelier. They have great fixtures in stock & are happy to special order as well.

We have bought 6 fans from the retailer and found them to be professional and very helpful. Would recommend if you are looking for fan of a better quality than the big box stores.

Looks like a nice place with so much to choose from but i decided to walk out after i walked in and was not greeted by anyone. I walked by the salesmen at least 5 times and not even a nod. On the contrary I tried to make eye contact with him to say hello and I caught him yawning. wow! I left!
