Where do I start? This place has absolutely no idea what customer service is and even if you showed it to them they would forget about it 5 seconds later. In April/2021 we gave half of 20k to install a patio cover, turf, trees and shrubs. We were told that the lead time would be 8 weeks. That day came and went and at 10 weeks we called to see what the hold up was. After sent us to 3 different people no one had an answer. Then we get a text telling us its a material problem. At 3 months they show up at the house without warning telling us theyre here to put in the landscaping. Good thing the wife works from home. After 2 weeks the landscaping gets put in and the turf is still pulled back for the footing for the patio cover. 5 months after the initial payment the patio shows up unannounced. 2 weeks after that the crew shows up to install....unannounced. After 2 hours they leave. Why you ask? Because they measured the patio wrong. The patio cover they ordered will not fit. A week later they show up with the correct patio. When the inspector shows up he fails the patio cover, but no one knows why. We are told that its a paperwork issue. 4 weeks later the inspector tells us they did not anchor the patio cover to the fascia. They come back and anchor the patio and the inspector stills says they did not use the correct screws that they said they were going to use, but he passed it in spite of them. Lest we forget the materials they left in our back yard for over a month. After they were notified that the inspection passed they called and wanted final payment when the job wasnt finished. They told us it was and we had to take photos to show them it wasnt. They sent out some poor guy to finish the job who couldnt believe it his company over 6 months to get this job done. Heres the best part, we took them a cashiers check the Saturday they finished and when we got home we had a letter in the mail telling us that final payment was past due......are kidding me!!!!IT TOOK OVER 6 MONTHS FOR THESE DIP SH*TS TO INSTALL A PATIO COVER AND SIMPLE LANDSCAPING!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!This husband and wife team cant fight their way out of a wet paper sack. Found out that the reason we never talked to the same people when we call is because the people they have keep quiting.

This company is a joke! They could use a lesson or two about customer service and completing a job as promised. If you want to practice being a project manager, than this is the company for you! You literally have to hold their hand through the entire process if you ever want to get anything done!Dirt piles sitting in the street for several weeks, concrete splashed up on the stucco of my home (no one cared to clean up) and concrete splashed all over the hood and fender sides of my brand new truck from when they hosed down the concrete truck (they didn’t bother to tell me or attempt to clean). Nothing professional about this company at all! Pen and pencil marks left on every hole they drilled for the patio cover.Patio was completed more than 2 months after they said it would be done, and I was lied too about materials the entire time. They kept saying the materials were on a 2 week back order and when I finally got a hold of the owner 1-1/2 months later she admitted it was all a lie and that materials would now be available because they fixed their supplier issues. Had to ask 4 separate times for the concrete crew to come back and remove their forms they left up for weeks. Save your money and use another company that will give you genuine answers and keep their story straight longer than 24hrs.

They did my backyard and overall the people are nice but man they left an indent on my Cement so there is a about 2 and a half 3 feet of water that pools so it just sits there. Really annoying if I am paying that covid price wish I would have gotten some better work than what seems like really rushed concrete. They compensated by taking 150 off. That is not enough for something I am going to deal with for the life time of the house.It is also impossible to communicate with them. I wanted to add unto my project and call/text multiple times and its just a typical hey someone will get with you and they never do type of thing. By the time I finally get a hold of someone they already laid my Cement and I couldnt add additional Cement that I wanted to do.My awning does not have a down spout and that should have been added. They are currently trying to fix that nowThe awning looks good so far though.

They have a showroom that is all about hot tubs and back yards!!! This is where you need to go for great ideas and help with your next yard improvement/upgrade. Add a big water fountian, grills, outdoor pacer blocks overhangs lighting and. Hot tubs small ones and big ones and all the things to go with them and so much more

Stay as far as you can from this place, the laborers are okay and after I pointed out some debits and dinks that they were going to leave they fix them, they only left a few errors that I can live with Ray is actually pretty knowledgeable and their shining Star. But the office, staffing management, and whoever else was involved in overseeing this project were very unprofessional they do not like to communicate with their customers. In fact I had a couple occasions where they mocked my concerns. I had to drive across town and asked to see a supervisor so that I could voice my concerns. I have a four-year-old with severe asthma and I needed to coordinate with them so that I could have my child not be present when there was work to be done they never once coordinated with me and mocked me when I asked to talk to their supervisor. Although their CEO did reach out I was unable to answer and when I called back to try to talk to him he never returned my call afterwards. Although I understand that things are hard for businesses right now, getting employees and supplies the number one rule of thumb with customer service is to communicate with your customer they fell miserably at this and therefore left a very unsatisfied customer. Im the kind of customer that I either leave great reviews if I like the service or dont say nothing at all, this time I need it to voice my opinion so that other people will think twice before they hand out their hard-earned money to this undeserving company.

Got outdoor kitchen Islands, Kamado Joe Smoker and Summerset high performance burner from them, it was way delay delivery from scheduled and they always have excuses on everything.The biggest problem was that they got us the burner that used with propane instead of the one for natural gas that we ordered.It didn’t work properly so we found out the cause from Summerset company.They sent us the new parts but I still don’t get this issue resolved after 3 months.Worst service I ever experienced in Las Vegas. Stay away from this company.

I wanted to have a patio cover built for my house, I got 3 estimates. Proficient Patios had the best price and allowed me to make installment payments. Their installation crew is the best, they installed my 75 by 20patio in triple digit heat and cleaned the job site upon completion. I am very happy with the process and final product.

We called to inquire about a patio cover and a spa. Someone called to confirm out appointment for today 6/19/2021 between 12-2. We confirmed and she suggested we stop by get an idea of what we wanted. We rushed to make it before our appointment and they have a large selection of spas, patio furniture, grills, patio options etc. We were greeted when we came in and the gentleman was helpful (although we werent because I did not take any measurements prior to coming). The only negative is whoever was supposed to show up to measure/give an estimate today never showed, but I am wondering if whoever called to confirm told them not to because we would come to the store 🤔. Either way, I am not going to give a bad review because we looked at spas at a few other places and were ignored and given NO service. The prices on (spas at least) were more affordable than the *discount* retailers. So, our experience was mostly positive.

Working with this company was agonizing. If you want rude communication if any, and if you’re lucky enough to even speak to someone who knows what the project is and don’t mind waiting weeks for your project, use them. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. I ordered stamped concrete and I think this is not something they should be doing. The finished product looks like a 4 year old did it. The pattern is crooked uneven and messy. It’s not level. The amount of mistakes are too numerous to mention here. They promised professionalism and what I have is less than amateur work. They left nails everywhere trash and while waiting for them to return piles of rubble remained in the street causing me trouble with the hoa. When you pay good money you want to be happy with the result. I will have to redo it with another company at more cost. Don’t use this company.

Our experience with Proficient Patios was 5-star from start to finish. We worked with Keith on our purchase of a spa and he guided us through the various choices and install options. He is professional and extremely knowledgeable answering our questions about spas and guiding us through the routine chemical balancing of the water. We are really enjoying our purchase and appreciated the great customer serviceThe Proficient Patios showroom is full of design ideas and examples of the work they perform to include spa samples, paver design and outdoor kitchens which is on our list of home improvements and an area Keith is knowledgeable. He took the time to get into the specifics of each phase of outdoor kitchen construction showing us the process (in the back warehouse), the options available and answering our questions in detail.I will recommend Proficient Patios to anyone wanting to purchase a spa and will point them directly to Keith. I highly recommend Proficient Patios & Backyard design. We wanted a hot tub installed in our back yard patio, but didnt believe we had room. The salesman from Proficient came to our house, measured and determine we had the room. He was very professional and helpful. We ordered the hot tub and when it arrived it was professionally installed. We had a few questions that were immediately answered by the salesman. We are very happy with the hot tub and the service that we got.

I was happy with the response to my email to set up an appointment. The salesman didn’t explain everything, but I liked what he showed and I ordered on the spot. I was at the store 3 times and was treated with respect. The product was delivered in a reasonable time and am very satisfied with the workmanship.

In November of 2018 I contracted with Proficient Patios to add concrete to extend my backyard patio floor surface area and to build an 11 x 15 solid patio cover with slat walls to extend my original patio cover that was built with the house. We live in a gated community governed by rules set up and enforced by the Home Owners AssociationThe project started in December first with the ground excavation and concrete work and later the build. My overall experience was wonderful from the initial design through to completion. They were ready and willing to make some design changes from our original design as the process moved forward that enhanced the overall usability of this area for us!Nine months later (August 2019) I had some issues with my Home Owners Association (HOA) unwilling to give me final approval for the project over some outside color requirements. They directed me to have the color in question painted to match the other color of the patio cover slats.I contacted Jessica at Proficient Patios and explained the problem. Although I was out of town, almost 2000 miles away during this entire time, she worked diligently with me, understanding the issue, exchanging phone calls, texts and e-mails to set up the logistics to meet the demands of my HOA.In my opinion Jessica and Proficient Patios went above and beyond to assist me, one of their completed or former project customers with a problem. Jessica followed through on everything we discussed and planned over the phone, she met the timelines and the staff that came out to the house did a fantastic job. In today’s day and age, this is a rarity, and I truly believe most other companies would have told me I was on my own.Thank you again Jessica and the staff at Proficient Patios. Based on my overall experience at the beginning, through completion and then this later issue, I highly recommend that anyone looking to build a patio or other outdoor structure strongly consider Proficient Patios .

I had a patio installed in 2018. It began to leak in multiple spots after two years. The rep who came to my house told me that there is a lifetime warranty as long as I didnt do any self modifications. Not true, only one year warranty. I had to pay them $150 to come out to recaulk my patio. The gentleman who did the recaulk showed me photos of before and after his work. The reason for the leaks is that the installers left gaps between caulking. Im disappointed to have shelled out $150 for a shotty initial install. Three months later its leaking again. I called them back to let them know of the new leak. They would send someone out as a courtesy and was told that patios arent leak proof. Whats the point of getting a patio? The patio looks good, but the leaking roof and water builds up on the concrete during heavy rain. Ive spoke to the owners regarding my concerns and they were both defensive. They dont care about the customer.

They were very helpful, I was looking for parts to my older Aluma- Wood Patio. Even tho they couldn’t help me because mine was older, they gave me some parts that I might be able to use.Thanks😎

After shopping other retailers, we settled on Proficient for our new gas grill and island. We are very disappointed with the final product, and the timeline was ridiculous. Here is a brief synopsis:4/20/19 Signed contract and left deposit. Keith told it would be 2-3 weeks lead time on island.5/7/19 CAD drawing approved by us.5/24/19 Jazz(?) called, left message our unit was in production, will be about 3 1/2 weeks until completion. They will call to schedule delivery when it is finished.7/5/19 Had heard nothing so we called them. Dakota told us he would check and call us right back.7/9/19 Unit estimated delivery 7/18 or 19. Still need to tile, stucco, paint.7/16/19 Worker showed up at our house UNANNOUNCED to check the house color.7/19/19 Installed unit, but need to touch up paint and corner they chipped before they painted.9/13/19 We are still waiting for them to repaint. Thats not going to happen now, do you think? And by the way, the paint on the unit does NOT even come close to the house paint color. We even gave them the name and manufacturer of the house paint. They used a pink-toned paint instead of a taupe color.I do like the grill, and love using it. But the island is not of the quality I expected. The tile is not the quality I expected, nor is the body of the unit. I would not do business with this company again.

Went in for some info for a hot tub cover replacement. The associate that helped me didnt really wanted to help me. I came here because I had bought a hot tub from Proficient patios and wanted to give them repeat business. Great customer service is the key to repeat business.

Did some shopping around for prices and got a price from a contractor on home adviser and from home depot. Proficient patios beat the price by $800.Absolutely love the patio cover. The whole process was friendly and easy. Jess is the best!!

This company does excellent work, keeps you informed on the status of the job and delivery of materials. They do everything needed to get the job done. I have used their services multiple times over the years and have never been disappointed. I gave them 5 stars because 10 stars were not an option.

I had a very good experience with Proficient Patios. Yes, did it take a bit longer than Id liked to get finished, but Covid conditions and supply shortages stretched out completion. My experience with Matt and the design was great. He listened to what I wanted and put into place a great design. I found Jess to be very communicative. She always answered my texts and calls in a timely manner. And she was always professional and pleasant. Each different team they sent to work in the backyard was pleasant and did a fine job. They fixed any and all concerns I had, and I love my backyard. It looks great! They are busy, so be prepared to wait a bit, but you wont be disappointed.

Impressive showroom. They used every square inch of their space to showcase ideas for patios, courtyards, built in bbqs, fireplaces, water features and patio furniture.. They carry a broad variety of stone and pavers, as well.

*****************************Shoppers beware****************************Worst experience of my life with a contractor, save yourself a year of grief and choose another contractor. They do not know how to read blueprints or use simple tools like levels, it took them over a year of failing city inspections to figure out how to build my entertainment wall semi correct. Dont trust them to build your custom wall, barbecue island, paver patio, or awning. You will only receive poor craftsmanship as I received an over engineered wall, stainless doors are not at same level (as designed in drawings), a leaking patio cover, and pooling water on my paver patio.They refuse to fix their issues, and to top it off Matt Lane the owner has the worst customer service. He belittles his customers, and said we need to lower our level of expectations. He told me and my wife that we are working on earth not in heaven. As an excuse for his workers poor craftsmanship. I asked why the wall and island didnt look like the drawings and blueprints they designed? Matts answer is their drawings and prints are what it could look like, not what it is going to look like in the end. What a cop out excuse, dont trust this trunk slamming company to perform any quality work. I would not recommend Proficient Patios to my worst enemy, I am filing a complaint with the contractor board.

We are in love with our new backyard! We had multiple estimates and compared to the others, we received the most for our money with Proficient Patios. Matt helped us design exactly what we wanted and the team implemented it as such. There were a few last minute changes and they obliged immediately, even though they were already in middle of the project. Had lots of questions because we obviously wanted it perfect, So when dealing with the office, Dakota(executive assistant) handled these as fast as possible and made us feel comfortable throughout the process. Will definitely use them again in future!

Great experience with this company. Designer was helpful and efficient. the guys that did the work were really pleasant and did a beautiful job. really happy with the outcome. we would definitely use them again.

The actual work once done is good. The customer service is horrible. Our patio cover is being worked on now. You would think a company would be sure to have all the necessary supplies with extra for mishaps. They didnt have enough, so now we have a half done patio cover until they get more supplies. The workers left our yard a mess with metal shavings, screws and trash. I was told they would expedite clean up, still not done. We also had artificial grass put in. That work crew was great besides having a few communication issues due language barrier. I would not recommend this company to anyone because for the amount of money being spent they should have way better customer service.

Robert from Proficient Patios is extremely attentive and quick to respond to any questions I had. The only hold up in the process was the acquisition of the aluminum, but that isnt Proficient Patios fault. Once the material finally arrived, they had my patio cover done in no time.Im also having landscaping done by this company, and will post a review after that process, as well.

There is a bad lack of communication with this company. I have been waiting for construction on my patio cover for over 10 weeks now. I called mid OCT because I was told originally it would be 6 weeks to get it done. However I was explained that materials were not available and then it would be 10 weeks instead and that it would get done the second week of NOV. I was annoyed that I had to call for this information I would have been more understanding if I could have received an update from them. It would have showed that they cared about the situation. Well its the second week of NOV now and of course Im trying to understand why I have not been updated a call, email, text or a scheduling for construction. Nothing, again I had to call them to find out that I have to wait until next Monday the 16th of NOV for them to get around to scheduling me. So my question for them is if I dont call them for an update nothing gets done? Again terrible communication skills. I asked for a refund they basically gave me the runaround. Do yourself a favor save yourself the headache and go with another company. I feel like they just took my down payment and forgot about me.

My experience with Proficient Patios has been everything but ordinary. I was greeted with the upmost respect, professionalism and excellent customer service. They saw my vision and exceeded my expectations. I’m truly grateful for the staff and all of their ongoing hard work to create and provide for their clients. If you are looking for a company who communicates with you, do not come here. I have been waiting for a patio cover to be built for 10 weeks, I was told two different dates that never happened now got pushed back another two weeks minimum, but I only found out when I called.......... they do not keep you in the loop about anything! I had other estimates from other companies that would have been finished long ago.

The work was delayed twice due to COVID, but the staff kept us informed each time. The quality of work was outstanding and the installers were very polite and offered suggestions when asked. I love the patio so much that Im contemplating on getting more work done.

Very unhelpful. He always said, I can do this, I can do that. Told him, we want a granite top. He told us, you dont want granite. Why? we ask. Because it cost more, he responded. Isnt that our decision, not his?Also, wore his mask under chin.Definitely, buying elsewhere where we can get granite.

Don’t bother wasting your time with this careless company. My backyard project came to just under 100k (no pool) and this company lost my business. Why? They were the only contractor of 4, to come out, spend an hour of my time and never submit any quote. What a waste of my time and loss of my business, all because of lazy staff that can’t provide an estimate. The comments about poor service and very bad organization are really true.

The Proficient Patios team was extremely transparent and friendly. I appreciate how they have a person to walk you through each step. The patio they installed turned out beautifully and completely transformed my backyard. The reason for not five stars was the speed in which everything happened from start to finish was 4-5 weeks, which could be slower than usual due to the pandemic.

A LOT of communication issues. I am satisfied with my patio shade structure. What Im not satisfied with is my landscaping.The sales guy told me that I would get to meet with a Landscape Designer to talk about the plants that would go with my aesthetic. I never had a meeting with a Landscape Designer. I recieved a call on a Friday to tell me the landscapers would be there on Monday from the scheduler. I told the scheduler that I never met with a Landscape designer so how would they know what kind of plants to install? I asked if I could speak to a landscape designer and the scheduler told me he didnt speak English and to tell the scheduler what I wanted. I told the scheduler I want Pampa Grass. On Monday, the landscape crew came and just did the demolition portion. I got home to find all the demo material left on the street infront of my house which is an HOA violation. I called and they said that they would be back the next day. Through a conversation, they told me that they do not use weed blocking cover and it wasnt in my contract so if I wanted weed block, Id have to install it myself and the Landscape Crew would cut through it to plant. My husband and I had to get material and cover our back yard that evening. On Tuesday the landscapers came back with the plants which they didnt bring Pampas Grass. Through a translator, the Landscape foreman said they had to pull up all the weed block that my husband and I had laid the night before. After lots of back and forth they finally agreed to cut through like I was they would do. They even laid additional weed block over the spots we missed due to running out of material. I inquire to the landscape crew saying I was told you guys didnt do weed block. They replied Sometimes they do. The landscapers ran out of rock and said they would be back later with more. When the scheduler called me to schedule the city inspection for my shad structure, I asked when the landscapers were coming back with more rock. They said my contract was for 3 tons and I was delivered 3 tons so if I wanted more, Id have to pay for it. I told them I didnt think I should have to pay for extra rock since the estimator errored. The sales guy called me back and said that sometimes that happens and that I need another ton of rock (so my job was underestimated by 25%). I dont think it is going to take a full ton of rock. It is literally a tiny patch. After all the aggravation (no landscape designer, no Pampas Grass, the weed block problem, the hoa violation...) they cant give me a little bit more rock?! Wow! I expressed this to the sales guy and he didnt budge on me having to pay for more rock. I told them never mind, I would just buy 1/4 ton and do it myself. Very disappointing.

The process of design through construction of our backyard oasis and living area was seamless, engaging and very pleasant. Proficient Patio was able to successfully complete our backyard through the COVID experience in only a few weeks and adhered to both their schedule and budget. We find the quality of their work to be top notch and the design work is very well done. We have received many compliments from our friends and family on our new oasis. We could not be happier and highly recommend their service!

Ordered a patio cover a little bit ago. Came out amazing! I had amazing help from Dakota. He was very patience and had amazing ideas to get the perfect product for me! Will be ordering from here again when I need to!

The crew did an excellent job. Very respectful and professional. Kept the work place clean and safe. End product was impressive.My only comment is poor communication coming from the office. Phone calls to info us of the city or crew coming were either late or were not made. There was a time when the phone call was made that a crew was on its way to our residence one hour after the crew had started working.

Shopped around a few places in town and none were quite like this one. Really professional, great showroom and really nice staff. I’m in love with my new patio cover and concrete! Highly recommend! Also a special thank you to Jess for getting my project done super fast :)

Brandt our salesmen was awesome! He didnt try to oversell us and was honest and gave us a great deal with no pressure. The guys did a good job building and even came on Saturday to finish it for us. It is even better than we had hoped! We are outside all the time now.

Very happy with Proficient Patio and Las Vegas connections (electrical work). From the initial visit where we chose our pavers, barbecue and fireplace the service has been outstanding. Matt with Proficient and Jerome with Las Vegas Connections were very knowledgeable and easy to work with. The scheduling department with Jess and Dakota kept us informed every step of the way. Granted it took a little longer than usual due to our project scheduled right in the beginning of the pandemic but the companies moved along and listened to our concerns about the virus.Finally, the workers were excellent and the quality of work outstanding.Would recommend Proficient and LV connections anytime.

I am very disappointed in your service because whoever is taking care of my project only gives us excuses as to why they are falling behind. We made a contract only to make concrete and the deck patio starting in September, but in the whole month they only work 4 days to make the concrete and today, after two weeks waiting for them to start work on the deck patio, They just text us saying theyre falling behind and cant even give us an exact day to do it and give us a $ 150 discount for the hassle. Right now it is too late for us, but I will advise anyone trying to make a contract. With this company dont do it, you guys are the worst.

Highly recommended! I give Proficient Patios It took a little longer due to HOA approval, but overall they did a really good job with my back yard cement and patio covers. Communication with Charmain, Jessica and Dakota was great. They called me to keep me up to date with everything. Very happy. Everyone we dealt with was professional. All our questions and concerns were quickly answered, the workers that came to the house was very nice and extremely talented. Overall very happy with everything.

This was the worst experience I ever had with a company doing work on my home. The agreement was they would be able to do the paperwork for the HOA and then once the approval was received have the project done within 3 weeks. Well, the whole process was 6 months!The office manager, Shante lies throughout the whole process. A month after the contract was signed I called to find out what was going on. Shante assured me it was in process, materials ordered and HOA paperwork submitted. When I asked for a copy and had to press her, I received the copy a few days later. Guess what! The paperwork was completed by Shante on the date I called her. She lied it was never done until the day I called. She also signed my name to the paperwork without my authorization. Then to make a long story short the project had many issues and proficient patio caused much stress. When laying the cement they never covered my windows or door. I had cement all over my solar security screens and door. This took me months to get off. When installing the post, they put it in the wrong place, then just cut it off and bolted it 6inches over to the cement. I had to make them remove the post and cement and do it over. The project manager did come out to the house. He was very condescending to me and spoke down to me. I had to.get my brother on the phone to speak with him. Then when the supplies came in, they let them lay in my yard for weeks. When they finally put them up there were dents and scratches all over from the materials being blown around the yard from our wonderful Las Vegas winds. I had to have them order more slats to replace the nasty ones they put up. Plus they tried to cover the scratches up.with paint. People, this is just the short version. Many, many issues with this company. And Shante will lie over and over to you. I have pictures and written correspondence on all this. Do NOT use this company. My experience was horrible. I am sure I am not the only one.

We have used Proficient before and was very pleased, not so much this time. Workers were friendly but most had trouble with english.End results were ok but both owners were anything but helpful. Would not use this company again.

We love our BBQ island. They were great to work with from design to delivery. When they put everything together, the guy didn’t like a small gap that he could see He had someone come back and Fill the gap. It looks beautiful. We professional.

I bought a Marquis hot tub, and have had a few issues. From the hot being shipped from the manufacturer cosmetically damaged, to a jet grill falling off. With each issue, the professionalism and customer service of Keith, Proficient Patio’s hot tub guru, has been impeccable. His follow up has been superb.I have, and will continue, to speak highly to friends and neighbors who are looking for spas of Proficient Patio and Keith. Their prices are good and service unbeatable.

We had our patio installed last Monday and the process was very efficient. They started on a Monday and completed it Tuesday afternoon. They guys were quick and professional. They were there bright and early and they did a great job cleaning up after themselves. We highly recommend using Proficient Patios.

Stay away from this company. Dont let this company do the backyard/patio. It is too expensive and their work is very poor. I dont recommend this to anyone or to anybody. Dont even go to their showroom.

We are thrilled the way the patio has turned out and neighbors have complemented how it has improved our property 1,000%. The area looks so much bigger and we spend a lot of time admiring the patio. Replaced our 50 year old driveway, removed all the old concrete, hauled it away and added new concrete. They did a magnificent job. I will certainly recommend them. It looks beautiful!

Where to start? where to start? first i would like to give matt my sales guy the first credit to my wonderful newly designed backyard. i had a few other companies come out to give me a bid and none were like matts. the presentation, the professionalism, the design of my backyard was above everyone else’s. second credit goes to shante in the office. she was very thorough in explaining to me how the process was going to be!! and lastly Jessica and Dakota who essentially were the ones scheduling the workers to come out and do the actual work. wow! i have never been so impressed with a company like Proficient Patios. money well spent with this company!! thank you everyone at Proficient Patios :)

Leaks horrible installation, owner told me to look at my contract it states it may leak...worst ever wish I had my old wood patio back. When they installed they sprayed touch up paint they got over spray on everything, they used gas to wash there hands and killed my grass.

Your one stop shop for any outdoor living space needs. We have worked with both owners for the last 5 years doing stuff around our house and referring to friends and family. The best investment we ever did when we moved was to add a Alumawood patio cover. We live in a 1 story, older ranch home, so we were concerned that we would feel boxed in but when Matt came out to give us the estimate he helped walk us through how they could mount the cover on the roof which gave us great height and it looks amazing. We also added a shade to help us with the sun in the afternoon and to give us some privacy, we are going to add 2 more soon to give additional shade/privacy to the whole patio. About a year later we bought and installed a Sundance spa, which we enjoy all year round.We also referred my in laws and they did a enclosed Florida room along with a hot tub, and my parents most recently purchased a new hot tub through them as well.Any need you may have this is the place to call!!!! They are great to work with and good honest people who do not try to oversell you on anything and always take the time to go over any questions you may have! Thanks Matt, Jessica, and team!!!!

Brandt, the salesman was awesome. The problems started after the initial payment. Customer service for Proficient Patios is non exsistent. A customer shouldnt have to call to get updates on the builds. Not calling a customer back with an answer to a question is not good business practices. If you are getting an island with 2 or more components, you will have to pay for a gas line and power to be run to the island. It is not included in the build price. They recommend a partner company that charges insane prices, $450 to run gas to our 3 compnents, we had our childs birthday party coming up so we didnt want to wait to get someone elseout for an estimate. We also had a Patio Cover installed and to have electricity run and 2 ceiling fans (we purchased them) installed it cost $1300 insane pricing but we didnt know any better. Unless customer service improves and more than one person can in the office can make a decision, I dont see us doing business with them again.

The staff at Proficient Patio Covers made getting a new patio and new cover a breeze! They explained our choices, what the styles were, and helped us make selections we are happy with. Everyone was always professional and quick to answer our questions. The showroom was educational in how the systems worked and showed a wide range of choices and decor styles. The crew that came to install the deck and cover were professional, courteous, and fast. We are very pleased with the results and we are very happy we selected them to install our deck and patio cover!

Proficient Patios did an excellent job transforming our mid-century downtown home into a Palm Springs- style oasis. Being an older home, every project we have completed has had unforeseen challenges and this project was no different but PP made sure we were 100% happy without up-charging us for every little thing.Keith helped us pick our spa and was a rockstar sales professional who followed up and answered my calls when I had questions getting electrical set up.Jess, Dakota and Nena were a delight to work with and Jerry was very patient when I changed my mind about the design several times. The owner (Jeremy? Jason? ) even came out once when we ran into an issue. Last, but not least Arturo the Foreman who led the project was amazing to work with and communicated issues and timelines with me. I highly recommend using their services.

Very nice work. They are well organized company. They always give me an update with whats going on with their work. The 3 paver people are nice too. They have a 1 year warranty with their labor both pavers and patio. Lifetime warranty on pavers the brand is Belguard. Im saying this coz. they just finish doing my patio and pavers 2 days ago. The price are just the same compared to other company maybe 1000 dollars less if your doing it under the table. But for me Im not really comfortable giving my money to people that dont issue receipt its bad for the economy.

Went into their showroom and spoke with Matt. Scheduled appointment for estimate for a patio cover. On the day of our home estimate Matt called two hours prior and cancelled. He left a VM at 6am and said that he was sick and wasnt making it into work. He said that one of his employees would call us to reschedule.No one called us so we called later that day to schedule another appointment. When we called one of his employees who answered the phone said that Matt was actually in for the day but unavailable. We ended up scheduling another appointment for a few weeks later.As you could guess two days prior his employee called us to cancel that appointment. She said that Matt was traveling for business and wasnt going to be back by our scheduled appointment. At this point we told her that we were no longer interested in dealing with their company.I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you want your time wasted and I do believe like previous comments that the positive ones on here seem to be written by their friends or family members.

Did not purchase anything here but did get a quote. My truck then refused to start when I was leaving and the staff was really nice and helped me out with water as I waited for my tow truck.Good people.

DONT hire this company I was told by the contractor that the project was going to take a couple of weeks but it took over 3 months for them to finish I tried calling them but answer from the contractor Not happy about the three months wait

If you are looking for cheap and fast, go no further, but if you want quality for a good price choose them. Our project was pretty big and with only two workers, it took 8 working days to complete. The workers did a great job and we are totally satisfied with the workmanship. I would hire them again, with no question! Thanks again!

I should’ve stayed away from this company. I only hired them for my Patio Cover because our Pool Designer recommended them. So despite of the negative reviews and them being on the more expensive side, I still hired them since they work hand in hand with our pool company. Anyway, long story short, they are the reason our pool construction was delayed for 10 days. They also messed up the installation of our Bond Wire for the pool and Patio Cover. I had a chance to talk to Matt, Owner/CEO of Proficient Patios. This guys is probably the MOST ARROGANT, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and VERY RUDE owner of a company that I have ever dealt with. I really regret hiring them for my Patio Cover. The other reviews are accurate. Communicating with this company is almost impossible, they always say that they are going to call you back, blah blah blah.. but they DON’T! Jessica, the scheduler, also the wife of the CEO is nice, I have nothing against her but her husband, Matt (CEO) is an A-HOLE!! Please don’t make the same mistake I did. DO NOT HIRE PROFICIENT PATIOS FOR ANYTHING!!!

I have to say it was an absolute pleasure working with Matt (owner) and Jessica! I had a deadline for our build out and they met it! Not only did they meet my expectations that exceeded them. When I called there was always someone to help me or return my calls. When they said someone was going to be out to work on something they were there. Jess would call every other day to check on the progress and my expectations. Matt did a final walk through and even sent out one of his crew members to touch up something that was not up to his standards. I highly recommend this company! Thank you, Matt and Jess! Very little communication during construction. Only way to talk to them is to corner them. Work takes four times longer than it should and is sub par at best.Any opportunity to avoid this place should be taken.

Great service and attention to get our BBQ working correctly. The guys came out as promised and it is working perfectly. We are SOOOOO HAPPY with it!!!! Had a covered patio installed in my new home and I was shocked at how unprofessional this company was they gave me less than 8 hours notice before they came to install so I had to frantically rearrange my schedule to accommodate them then they poured the leftover concrete on the ground where I am installing my new lawn. The finished product had nicks in the concrete as well as the edges not being finished, pitted and rough around the whole perimeter of the patio. The roof had dents on the metal edging and when I complained to the manager they sent someone to patch it and you can see where it was fixed not done properly the first time and not repaired well at all. There are a couple of spots I have to repaint myself with the tiny amount they left in the sun all day. The material they used is styrofoam with paint and caulk not what I expected for what I paid. Will not recommend them .

VERY professional from start to finish. Even though our project was small, we never had to CHASE the project (as we did with another company whose contract we cancelled). Less than 24 hrs after contacting ProfP an estimator was at our door. After sharing our ideas and an estimate given to us, we were left to “discuss”. Less than an hour later we texted Steve/estimator with approval of project. He chose to come right back, sign contract and gave us a 2 week window. Project was scheduled, we were promptly notified who/when they were arriving, they arrived on time, finished the project, cleaned up and DONE. No hassles. We LOVE our Privacy fence.....it’s gorgeous and can’t believe we didn’t sign with them FIRST.
