I had a problem with my garage door closing and I knew it was the sensors but could not fix the problem myself.They were able to book a service call according to my schedule.The technician called ahead, arrived and very quickly determined that the sensors were wired incorrectly. He fixed it within minutes.He also told me how to have the door operate more quietly now and on an ongoing basis.I could not have asked for a more efficient and friendly service to my door.Highly recommended!

In early May, my garage door would not open with the controller. I called Precision Overhead Garage Door and a technician came out to assist me. The motor needed to be replaced, I upgraded to a few convenient options and presto within a few hours my garage door was opening...very quietly! The chain on the motor had been replaced and now when the door was opened it did not shake and rattle, nor it could it be heard throughout our home.I should have done this earlier than I did, just for the peace and quiet alone!Thank you, Precision Overhead Garage Door!

Our door was extremely noisy and I sensed it was going to fail soon. My tech Alex R. diagnosed the problems and gave me several options to fix the problems. The rollers and motor were replaced. The springs adjusted and all was lubricated. Door is now quiet and running smoothly on track. I do recommend their service. Will use again if needed.

When I first called Precision, I was greeted by a very polite and professional customer service representative by the name of Trinity. She was able to easily help me get set up with an appointment. Justin was the technician who came out to my house this afternoon and he worked very quick and easily. He was really professional and knowledgeable about how to go about preventing any further issues. Great guy and great company. You guys will be the first I call if I have any other issues in the future. Exceptional work!Also a little side note, they had a worker by the name of Michael Henderson who I had the pleasure of knowing who recently passed away. Rest In Peace Mike.

This company is a gem and I am lucky that I found them. They had such great reviews that I gave them a call when my garage door failed to go up and down. I told them I needed a new garage door. They came out and said the garage door was fine. It was the garage door opener that was not working correctly. I thought, that is great. That is a lot less expensive than a garage door! But alas, he was able to fix the garage door opener. I did not even need a new one of those either. And the icing on the cake, he did it all for no charge. I of course tipped him, but better customer service I cant imagine. You will not go wrong to call this company. 5*. And if I could give 10* I would.

A bolt sheared off and basically trapped my car in the garage. Precision answered on the first ring, got a repair scheduled quickly, and came out to fix the problem quickly. The tech (Chris) was polite, professional AND EARLY. Chris walked me through the repair or new options and wasnt pushy or sales focused. Clearly wanted to solve the problem and was just showing me all my options and the associated costs. He did a high quality job in about an hour and walked me through everything after the install. 10 out of 10 would call them again and recommend them to anyone.

Precision returned our call, had a technician the next day and in the end gave us info that we could repair the door opener ourselves. He did not charge for a service call. If we ever need service again, we will call Precision. Thanks

We are in North Port, the garage door stopped working properly a couple weeks after purchase of our house. We researched local firms and settled on Precision after a couple other firms, D&D in particular, made excuses about how busy they were, seemed uninterested and were actually higher in initial service call/diagnosis fee. Precision scheduled us promptly the following week and actually got us in sooner than the original appointment. Alex our technician was thorough and knowledgeable right away in diagnosing the problem. He explained choices and prices on the spot for replacement parts, all better quality than the box store DYI the previous owner had installed and not maintained. He had all choices on board and installed our choice, a Precision brand system, right away from motor to sensors. We are happy with the new system which works much smoother and quieter without a glitch and recommend Precision installers highly.

I tried to fix my very heavy garage door by myself. After failed attempts I called Precision. I spoke with them on Saturday and was assigned a technician on Monday between 12 and 4. Not big on writing bad reviews but this one was bad. Young tech came out and tried to upsell me on a repair to my doors gear and sprocket assembly. Tried to convince me the door needed all new springs and with a $795 charge. I fixed it myself with an $18 part from Amazon. Very shady business. Would never use or refer them to anyone.

Found Precision Doors here on a Google search, all the reviews were good. I called on a Saturday for a price to replace my garage door opener, like what they offered and especially that they would be out on Monday. Derrick arrived, advised me what I needed and finished the job in about 2 hours, new belt drive Lift Master opener, and its so quiet! New springs and its all like new.I highly recommend Precision.

Called BANKO first and waited 8 days for a service call. The BANKO tech spent less then a minute looking at our problem and told us our door is old and needs to be replaced. Our garage door opener failed yesterday, so I called Precision and they agreed to come the next day. I jiggled the electric eye connection, but it stayed yellow. Anyway, the Precision repairman came promptly today, But now the garage door openers both worked, and the repairman gave me advice on the openers. And he charged me zero!

BEWARE Exorbitant pricing. Installed $19-$25 item, 11 screws and service call for $274.95. Never told price ahead of time. I should have sent them on their way. When trying to resolve issue management was combative and snarky Never again.

Replacement of the torsion springs on my garage door was much more expensive that I anticipated, about twice what I thought it would cost. The technician arrived on time and appeared to know what he was doing. The total time it took to make the replacement was about 35 minutes which is what I expected from a professional with the right tools and knowledge. The garage door is operating smoothly and I feel relieved that the job is done.

As a result of a spring replacement that i had Precision do, my door opener motor broke. they offer to sell and install a new motor for $400 which would have been a $100 discount. I suggested that they replace the motor and i would pay their actual cost. I thought given that they caused the problem i was being very reasonable. They didnt agree.I will end up hiring another company to fix or replace the motor even if the cost is more. Just dont want to be involved with a company that doesnt stand behind their work or in this case fix the mess they caused.As a follow up to my review. I had another company come out to look at my door problem, they confirmed that the spring replacement caused the motor failure and damage to the chain rail. In fact they stated that the springs that precision installed were too strong for the door and had to be replaced. Plus the chain rail needed replacement due to damage caused by the precision tech. So the money i paid precision was a complete waste. This is the first critical review Ive ever posted here and hopefully the last. Please be very careful when dealing with this company.

Brian and son did a complete overhaul of my garage door, replaced the motor and also reinforced the door. I could not be more pleased with the result. They arrived promptly, got on with the job, working efficiently. They were pleasant to deal with and I would recommend this company to anyone. The garage door now functions beautifully and is also almost silent which was a surprise.

I called Precision Door to replace the broken spring from my garage door.Jimmy was a great guy but not the price. I had the 2 basic spring replace for $440 total. When I called Banko who installed the door 5 years ago quoted me for same springs and job $249.00Almost $200 less. Only if I would have call Banko first. Our spring on the double garage door was broken, locking both of our cars (and us) in. On the day before Thanksgiving, we called Precision and explained our predicament. Despite being completely scheduled for the day, the very pleasant, helpful woman on the phone said shed fit us in later that afternoon. The company that installed our garage doors said, We cant be there until Monday. Mike arrived within the window of time quoted and did a very professional job in correcting the problem and installing the new equipment needed. He explained the various options we could choose from and the guarantees included with each option. He did the work and fixed our door. We highly recommend this very responsive company and Mike, the technician.

Precision was an appropriate name for the company. They answered my phone call promptly, verified all my information, and had service here within hours. The technician was quick, explained the issue clearly and said we could get back with a response. No hesitation on our part and problem was fixed right there and then. The only think I would suggest is to have the company comply with Covid regulations and make sure technicians show us with masks on. We certainly had ours on and maintained distance so on behalf of Precision, put your technicians with masks.

I called Precision to get my garage serviced and for them to fix a small problem I have been having with the garage. A tech was able to come out 2 days later. Our technician was very friendly and knowledgeable about our garage and answered any questions that we had. I highly recommend this company for any of your garage needs.

Put deposit down in October for new garage doors and openers that were supposed to be installed in January. By January I called and was now told they wouldnt be received until the beginning of February. At the beginning of February I called and was now told they should be received by February 23. I called today and am now told, it will be another month. Should have went with their competitor as my neighbor did, as their doors are already installed.
