I received awesome service from Anthony (employee 76988) on my visit to the store this afternoon - 9/10/21. He was professional, efficient, courteous, and enjoyable. And my glasses are fantastic. Picked up my second pair (bought two at once) today. Couldnt be better. Let me put in a plug for my eye doctor, Dr. Edmond Carson, while Im at it. He knows his stuff. Very professional as well.

I went in needing a new pair to replace my lost old pair and need it to be made the same day. Everyone was very friendly I was helped by Anthony. Super smooth process and he got them cut and back to me in 20 minutes. There life savers!

My husband and I came to LensCrafters today August 4, 2021 Tanya 760053 was such a delight very helpful made our experience with LensCrafters absolutely wonderful since we have an hour and a half drive from where we live for our visit. We have been coming to LensCrafters for now seven years and it’s the only place we ever wanna go they never mess up on our glasses unlike other places. We have tried all the new flybynite optical shops in Abilene, but LensCrafters are STILL the best in town!! Highly recommend LensCrafters and highly encourage all optometrists who dont sell frames/lens to recommend LensCrafters!!

This was my second time buying glasses at this location. There were some issues with my insurance but the manager, Julie, was amazing and took the time to make sure everything was correct and I understood my options. It was a great experience.

Save your money, save your time, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! DO NOT SEE THE DOCTORS CONNECTED TO LENSCRAFTERS AT THE MALL. If I could get negative 5 stars I would, they don’t even deserve one star.Absolute worst customer service experience — long story short, we paid for a contact exam, and we are not going to get the prescription for those contacts! When I spoke with a person over the phone to work things out without lots of traveling back and forth, she was condescending and kept calling me sweety and speaking over me - she wouldn’t let me finish a scentence. I was following docs instructions and she refused to assist in those instructions. She wouldn’t listen to me and wouldn’t do what the doctor instructed to be done for our situation. I have never experienced such rude customer service before and now I see why THIS PLACE HAS SUCH LOW RATINGS! Now I have to spend more money to get a new exam so that we can get contacts. What a sham.

We were told their system was having issues and they would call us to come back when they could run our insurance but never did. The staff wasnt very helpful and didnt really seem interested in having our business. I ended up finding much better prices elsewhere.

I am on hold with them as I am typing this they have come back to the line 4 different times telling me to hold. It has been 15 minutes. Now over 15 minutes.

Took my daughter in 2 weeks ago. I was informed your system was down. But, we would get a call when the system was up and running. Then my daughters glasses could be ordered. I tried to call to get a status. Couldnt get anyone to answer. That was last week. So last Saturday I took my daughter to eyemart. I will say. Im glad lense crafters never called, or answered. Eyemart came back with the same type of lenses same frame shape and I saved $100.00 by going to eyemart. Compared to what lensecrafters quoted me. But, still nothing from lensecrafters. Why even be open if youre never going to get a working system to make orders. Can only imagine the sells this place has lost.

First I would like to point out that we had an appointment, we called early morning and set up an appointment. We arrived ten minutes early so we could get paperwork done BEFORE the scheduled appointment and yet, we were left waiting 30 minutes after the scheduled time before we were even seen then left to wait for A HOUR. Im incredibly disappointed in the time management of the store. Theres no reason why you should have people with appointments waiting 2+ hours between when they arrive and the ACTUAL exam! I wont be coming back but I do appreciate the lady who did my pretest for apologizing for the wait unlike the 4 ladies behind the desk who did nothing but chat until some of them got off at 5:30. Worst service

It took a long time, 45 minutes just to pick up the glasses. There were only two staff people in the store and they were both working as quickly as they could. And, they were very polite and helpful. But, they had at least seven people waiting to see them. Two staff people does seem a little slim, and 45 minutes to pick up glasses is not good customer service.

First I would like to point out, nowhere does it show the hours of the Optometrist anywhere in relation to the store. Next when I came in after they Optometrist had close, I was told they were closed and opened the next day at 0900. The tone of voice, body language, and curtness all seemed to be that I was a moron for thinking they even might be open, and an imposition for even asking. Horrible interpersonal skills at this store.

I purchased a new pair of frames ~Dec. 2016/Jan. 2017. Caleb was the associate who made the experience worth writing this review. He didnt hover but was readily available, super patient, and professional. I was told there was a 30 day return policy. Guess what? Without question, I was permitted to return/exchange the initial frames I was warned may be too big once its lenses were put in......... I couldnt be happier with the frames I ultimately chose. Although the prices can be a little steep, they are indicative of the brands offered and the quality and service provided.

My experience was frustrating and disappoiting. It was my first and last time buying from them. Last year I bought an expensive pair of glasses at LensCrafters in the Abilene Shopping Mall. In the past months I noticed an increased number of buble on the left side lense. I tried to clean in the best way possible, bought different products to clean glasses but couldnt get rid of it. I have been using glasses FOREVER and NEVER saw such problem. So I took my glasses to LensCrafters last week. First, the staff didnt acknowledge my presence in the store, it took them a while to address to me. Finally they spoke to me, I explained the issue, the individual tried to clean the lense just the way Ive been doing and stated there was nothing they could do for me. Despite it, I tried to negotiate something maybe a new lense or have my glasses maybe taken to another place to be cleaned, but they remained rigid. The manager assistant, Angie, who didnt even look to me kept repeating the same thing.What they taught me is that LensCrafters only need you once. They dont care to develop a client. They dont work with customers expectations, dont know their product and sell cheap stuff. I will make sure to NEVER enter to a LensCrafters there in Abilene or any other place.

Waste of time, dont bother going here. Their frame selection is sad.

I went to the store trying to find glasses for my son. I do shop around and we are limited in selection in this town. Lens Crafters is the only place in town that said they cant make his glasses. Being their primary business is selling glasses i thought they would have higher ability than Wal-Mart but i guess thats not the case.

Worst pair of glasses I have ever gotten.
