The sales girl was so helpful, as always. Got a new shade of studio fix which works much better with my skin tone (perfect match). She was knowledgeable and friendly. Love the new holiday stuff that just came out too. Ill always wear mac!

Shady AF. The people wearing make up need to update their method to a more current trend. Try the Mac at Macy’s better. There’s this beautiful trans girl who wears her make up very professional.

So I’m here in Oahu visiting my sister and we go to Pearl Ridge Mall quite often, although, I went to their Mac store for the first time today and let’s just say it was not a good one. At first I was helped by a very nice employee and we had a nice conversation. I asked her if they had a specific lip liner shade that was not on the floor and she said she would go to the back to see if they had that specific color. Turns out she did and it was great and I was happy. Everything was going swell. When it was time for checkout, I had bought a few items, some lipsticks, some lip liners, and their infamous lip glass gloss. The same employee charged me twice for the glass gloss, not sure if it was on purpose or not, but in the end I went back to the store and everything was settled out by a different employee. When I went home I opened all of the lip liners I had bought, and low and behold, the same employee who ‘accidentally’ charged me twice had given me a lip liner that was broken. SO from there I decide, “it’s okay I’ll just sharpen it and it’ll be fine”. Well, it wasn’t. The integrity of the lip liner when I sharpened it was literally, as Jefree Star would say, like chalk. I think she gave me an expired lip liner TBH and it was the same specific lip liner she had given me that was not on the floor but in a room where they store the rest of their products in the back. Now, not bashing on this Mac store at all, my other items I purchased were great and in top condition however, some employee lady who works there is kind of suspect in my opinion. I wish I could remember her name and I don’t want to assume her race and offend anyone so I’ll just leave it at that. Just thought I would share my experience for everyone else to see! Rant complete.

I just love this store this is the only place I go when I need anything like Make up brushes And of course make up love this store the people theyre always friendly as soon as you entered store and by the time you leave theyre always very sweet and polite love it I give them 5 stars

I shop at Mac at least a few times a month the girls are awesome they know my name right when I walk through the door always great customer service at the Ala Moana location if I can get them more than five stars I give him a lot more than five

I was helped by a very sweet woman named either Marissa or Melissa; one of the two and she gave INCREDIBLE customer service. I was greeted, helped the cashier entire time by her, recommended a powder kiss lipstick due to a specific shade I wanted, very informative on the products that she recommended to me, outgoing and sweet personality and she matched my powder absolutely perfectly. I would definately recommend going to her if you go there and I promise you will not be disappointed. I’m definately going back because of her. She was definately trained proper and her work ethic is absolutely amazing. Thank you so much Marissa ❤️🙏
