I went in today to ask about a spindle formy Craftsman z560. I was thinking that I would have to spend a $100 for a new maintenance free one. After Byron took the time to answer my questions, He saved me some money by replacing the shaft only. He placed the order for me and it will be here Tuesday. Byron was very professional and showed he cared about how to help the customer. He even took a moment to show me how it was done on another spindle. I havent seen service like that in a while. The work is very satisfying. Everything I take to them, I get it back in great working condition.....thumbs up.....oh, but, just dont take it to them if they are backed up itll take 1-2 months before you get it back..... But they do an amazing job, Ill go back.

We have a small landscaping company in North Augusta, and these guys have helped us out of a bind numerous times. I do not think that it is fair to give just 5 stars they deserve more. The store is always well cleaned, the employees are always ready to assist, they always give good advice, and we recieve fast service. We buy all our supplies and power tools from them because there is not a hassle when comes to getting parts or service. They have great prices and excellent service after the sale.
Had a brand new display model 40t log splitter, had a busted pressure relief valve in crankshaft, and a hairline crack on the hyd fluid filter cap, Craps did well by us and was patient with our calls, and parts being backordered for so long. All thats left to do is split some rounds for stress testing.
Took 3 weeks for a triage to say it’s most likely carburetor! $25 to start engine that already runs is too HIGH and 3 WEEKS ‼️👎
I dropped my mower off for repair and left the key in it. After I picked it up and got it home, I realized they had kept my key. I had to make another trip back to get another one.I left my electric start generator there because it wouldnt start. They loaded it on my trailer and then told me that the battery was still dead. Why would you tell me my electric start generator was fixed when you know it wont start?Not a single apology about wasting my time. I tried to explain as nicely as I possibly could that maybe they should check to make sure its fully fixed so were not wasting each others time. No response at all. I really got the impression that he didnt care. I try to patronize the small businesses but the service here is really bad.
I took them my pressure washer and they had it ready in 3 days. Top notch service
I couldnt have been happier with the customer service I received! I went to Craps Small Engine Repair to have my mower repaired. I thought (not knowing too much about mowers myself) the problem was larger than it actually was. Their honesty saved me money. I have used them numerous since and it was always a pleasant experience.

Dropped mower off to be fixed an get new blades. They called said it was ready Friday afternoon after they were closed so I went Monday to pick it up.Waited an hour for them to get it to crank even though it was supposed to be ready to go.Ended up getting a bagger before I even used it. Went to test to see if my blades would work with a bagger but no.So went back to exchange them for high rise mulching blades that would an just pay the difference.Got home an went to put the blades on an they wont fit. My mower uses the 5 star hole blades they gave me 6 star. ( no big deal just a mix up right)Went back the next day to get the right ones GUY tells me my mowers build takes the 6 star, I told him I looked and counted them myself an its a 5 star. HE ARGUES with me about it.Cause apparently theres this thing for people to just randomly lie about itShowed me the blades they put on originally an they were 6 star. (So apparently who ever put them on needs to learn to count)So I take the 6 star blades black with me GO ALL THE WAY BACK TO MY HOUSE took a photo of the mower and WENT BACK THERE to show him an get the the right blades. ( Maybe an apology )When I showed him the pic ( the one below ) an ask for the 5 star ones HE ARGUES with me againSaying I switched mowers an thats its not the same mower I dropped off. Straight up called me a liar and told me to GO SCAM SOMEONE ELSE.How could this even be a scam. In what possible way could I benift from wasting my gas to go down there a 3rd time just to get 5 star blades.Im NEVER USING THEM AGAIN
The guy at the counter explained all my questions in much more detail than I expected. He even open a new product just to show me how to fix my lawn mower.
