Brett at the AutoZone by One of Pets was extremely helpful on Saturday, April 9th, 2021. He came outside to help me remove my old gas cap (which was attached to my van by a tether)and remove the tether that I could not. He explained how to get a good seal around the cap by using vaseline. I was so pleased that an employee took the extra time to help a senior citizen! I learn so much when I go to Auto Zone.

Massive rain/snow 32°, had to change out a battery part. YAY, it was super fun(nope), but they were helpful. Let me fix my car in the parking lot in the pouring rain..lmao. frl though, they offered help and tools if needed. Im pretty sure they were slightly impressed that a 110lb girl could fix her own car with her own tools in the worst weather. Thanks Ohio, you never fail.

Unfortunately...my car was sick. I went to Auto Zone to have my battery checked. A gentleman named Blake helped me the first day. He was very kind and knowledgeable. He explained what was going with my battery..he was very patient. He also gave me tips on car washes and where to get my fob changed for remote start. Very personable and agreeable.The next day unfortunately I had to go back and puchase a battery. Michael was also very kind, patient, and helpful. He changed my battery very quick and easy. He worked diligently and I only waited a few minutes. All of the staff was helpful and friendly. Such a pleasant environment during this pandemic!
The best ever!! There is an employee there named Chris who really went above and beyond to help me. He is honestly a very good employee I hope his hard work gets noticed by the management.
These folks do a great job at getting you whatever you need. Happy, courteous, and helpful employees with very understanding management. If they dont alrdy have it in stock, they have a great system of making sure they get it in a quick and orderly fashion.
Was waiting while store reps talked to several people, and one employee was walking around and even answered a phone call seeing me stand there for almost 20 mins, and proceeded to help them instead of me. I had a single $10 tank of propane. I had to ask 3 times to be rung out while employers ran around looking for products on shelves for customers who arent even there. Pretty disappointed will probably choose elsewhere for my tools and car parts from now on.

If you are a female and dont know about cars I wouldnt recommend going here. The two men working tried to upsale me on windshield wipers, telling me they werent good and would fly off, because they didnt want to install the ones I had bought. Thankfully Im not dumb or they would have robbed me blind.
Had a battery go bad on me within the warranty period (it happens). Mike helped me and was extremely courteous and friendly. He checked the battery while it was still in the car, determined that it was bad, and promptly replaced and installed it free of charge. I have bought several batteries from AutoZone and only two have failed within the warranty period (the other one pretty much on the last day of the period on a Lexus 350 that ate batteries). No hassle replacement free of any charge both times.

This is by far my favorite auto parts store. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. Several times Ive had issues with my vehicle, and they were able to help me figure out what was wrong. I frequently had them out in the parking lot looking at things. I highly recommend them.
The generally do a great job. They did tell me they thought I had a bad alternator when in fact it was a shirt elsewhere. It was a difficult issue to find.

Michael and Sean are my favorite team members. Im from a different city and was stuck with a flat and no jack. Both team members went above and beyond to help me find the safest/ budget friendly options. Also, showed me how to properly fix my tire so I was safe going home.
I came on Sunday for a battery and Tony stated I needed a alternator. Sent the car to the shop it was definitely a battery problem like I thought. Tuesday came back and Beth very helpful without any hesitation tookcare of me. Beth customer service was amazing, its sad to think that women are still being discriminated against in 2020. If that wasnt Tonys intention that was how he made me feel. Thanks for your help Beth.
I want to thank Shawn C at the Fairlawn Autozone for providing the best customer service I’ve had in years. He spent a lot of time and effort changing my LED headlight on my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. He had to remove and reinstall the battery to get to the bulb. Thank you so much!

Michael J. is always very helpful. I swear he has super powers. Twice now, Ive gone into the store to tell him something on my car wasnt working. He went out to check, and the problems went away. Lol! But hes also helped with lights and wiper blades in the past as well. Glad hes around.
Great review for the manager at this store who installed my wiper blades.... Victoria I think was her name. However, the employee who waited on me was new and although he was the one who helped me buy the correct wipers and completed my transaction, he said he had to wait on the other customers who were walking into the store and needing help.. I waited at least 10 minutes.... then after I approached him again and said “ Really? You are going to help customers who are just walking in? All I need are my wipers installed “. He said” Well it’s a free service so I need to help the other customers first.” Upon hearing this the manager stepped in and apologized and installed the wipers. It took about 2 minutes.
Expert Tony did give me some very good advice however I was not impressed with their willingness to go above and beyond by offering to help carrying my newly purchased rotors and brake pads to the car being as though I bought new pads and rotors for All 4 disc brakes. I may have been happy if they had even offered one of their empty carts. Not impressed with the customer service why is customer service a thing of the past. This is the necessary Focus for brick-and-mortar structures today customer service remind people why you should exist.

The staff replaced a head light for me that was very onerous as it was more tricky I believe to reach than most cars. However, both Sean and Vicki worked diligently until it was satisfactorily replaced. They were Awesome ! What exceptional customer service !

Very poor service. Was treated like a bother. Suggested maybe my alternator was bad but didnt offer to test. Tested my battery and said I was reading good or bad. So bought a battery. The asked to keep the old battery, said I would pay the core charge. Apparently this was something he didnt know how to do or was a bother to try and do after paying. So was told even if my betwey was fine I could not return the new battery. Was told once Installed was unable to return old battery. That was not true. Went to my favorite one close to home and experienced the help and information I should have received the first time. If I could give no stars I would!!!!

After all, its AutoZone. You can expect this store to be regularly understaffed and customer service to be rushed. Most employees are knowledgeable and as helpful as possible. I stop in for airfreshners and stuff to keep the car clean. Ive seen short tempers fly between customers and staff. Its because there arent enough employees at any given time in this place. This is what Ive observed anyway. How about getting more help in this store.

I was extremely hesitant to post this review however after giving it great thought I decided I would in hopes that it could help Auto Zone train their employees on this. I am your average girly female. I do not look like I have any business trying to play mechanic however I love cars and have always wanted to learn how to work on them. I purchased a $800 Toyota Celica and decided I would learn as much as I could with this car because at the end of the day if I tear it apart and cant fix it I am not really taking a substantial loss. So my wheel bearing needs to be replaced and I decided I wanted to replace the the whole assembly because I would not be able to press the wheel bearing itself in with out the correct tool. I went into Auto Zone and was greeted by Greg who was friendly and eager to help. I asked him for two things... The assembly itself and if they rented out slide hammers. I explained to Greg that I wanted to replace this and explained to him that I wanted to do it myself. Not once or twice but several times because he refused to hear that I wanted to do it myself. He kept telling me repeatedly to take it to a mechanic. I explained that I bought the car to learn to work on cars and asked him to look the part up that wasnt in stock after all but he kept insisting that I was not capable and needed to take it to a mechanic. Im the furthest thing from a feminist. I am pretty close to very opposite. My friend that was with me also strongly felt that because I was female he didnt think I was capable. I should never go into an auto parts store and ask for a part and be told I should just go to a mechanic. Granted my wheel bearing may never work for me but thats my decision to try and shouldnt have been made to feel incapable. Ill never learn without trying.
Some of the staff at this place just plain dont know what they are doing especially the older man that works there...basically he just does what the computer says, no additional thought goes into it, which leads to mistakes & wasted time.

Basically they stole my money charging me for a loaded caliper because they said they didnt have a plain caliper I stock.. but then took the bracket off the loaded caliper making it into a plain caliper because my core didnt have the bracket.. mind you it didnt have the bracket because I wanted the plane caliper which is what I had called on.... making it into the cheap caliper yet they charged me for the fully loaded caliper Ive never seen somebody blatantly steal the way they did...

I was told they couldnt replace my battery that it had to be taken to a garage since the assistant didnt want to be bothered. So I took my car to Advanced Autoparts, bought a battery from them and they replaced it in 5 minutes.
The workers at this specific location are rude and incompetent. If you know exactly what you need and exactly where it is then I guess it would be alright. God forbid you have a question. If you do then go across the street.
