Every time I have a bad experience at a Walmart, its at this one. every other store in my area provides excellent service and I never have an issue. My entire grocery order was placed into someone elses car before I even arrived at the store to check in for pickup.

Good store with good prices. Store has electrical carts for elderly and people who needs it. I personally had to use cart because I am at my 8 month of pregnancy so my feet and back hurts terribly. Very hard to walk, so I am glad I could use the cart to drive around to finish my shopping for coming baby.

I was looking for a specific pair of shoes that my daughter had seen in her Florida store that didnt have her size so she asked me to look for them in Montgomery. We were in the Birmingham area so I checked this store and they didnt have this style. All of the fall and winter merchandise had not been put on the racks so I think I was too early to find this shoe. I did find a black printer cartridge that I couldnt find at my local Walmart so I purchased it. A lot of fall decor had been put out at this location as my store hadnt gotten much out yet. I nice Walmart to shop in.

Absolutely ridiculous I don’t know how this store got it’s good ratings!? Been in the pick up spot for over 30mins associates walking past the 10 cars out here waiting to pick up and nobody answering the phones! Walmart Alabaster if you’re not ready to offer this service please don’t!!!

I dropped some meds off around noon. I was told that the meds would need to be transferred. The Pharmacist acted like this was such a chore.I left and came back at 4:45. They were not ready. She did not even transfer them. What in the world is wrong with people that are working in a service industry that do not want to work?These are meds for someone I am helping and this person needs them to stay sane.This is not the first time I have had this problem. I am so disappointed. I go to Publix but this persons meds are cheaper at Walmart.

I will happily wear a mask in the Alabaster store if one is required by the store. It is not required at this point, but being accosted by a Walmart employee in the parking lot because I did not have one is not acceptable. Besides Walmart employees, only about 20% of shoppers were wearing a mask. The store is getting worse every time I shop there. I will not find out how it goes from this point on. I will also post my experience where others can see.

Alabaster is much more organized with proper stocking and visible prices than Calera. Meat sections too empty when the small stores close by are full so there is no meat shortage as the reason.

Very clean and spacious store. Distancing easily kept and for drinkers they stock wines.

*doordashers*Employee threw the groceries in the backseat, mixed all of the orders together after we asked to put one on one side and the other opposite. Threw their baskets on the ground and slammed my door shut. I would formally complain on him but he had his name tag flipped. Blonde wavy headed boy wearing white/blue nikes . Thanks kid.

The worst store I’ve ever been in. The laziest lowdown employees. It’s so difficult for them to even answer the phone along with the manager refusing to answer the phone. If there’s truly a corporate for Walmart. I would replace whoever is in charge of this piece of trash hole. Have a great life being lazy and amounting to nothing

While shopping or should I say “searching” the aisles lookin for tortillas… I was stopped in my tracks by employee Michelle. Who very courteously & conveniently saw my confusion, asking me what I was looking for. She went out of her way to locate the tortillas. Thanks again Michelle for easing my confusion! 😁👍👍

Walmarts makeover in Alabaster is awesome! The store looks amazing and so much easier to find what you need. 🤗🤗🤗

Friendly person gave me my 2nd shot today. He was very nice and the shot didnt hurt even a little bit! Jewelry counter service was very slow. I like this super center and I shop here infrequently. I recommend this center.

The store was pretty well stocked. Not too terribly busy at the time I was there although it had been raining so that could have been the reason..

Pretty good Walmart. The automotive department here is actually staffed and helpful unlike most of the surrounding Walmarts. Employees are helpful and prices are decent at this location.

I was at Walmart around 8p. There were boxes and carts full of mdse everywhere. They had 2 cashiers available. The rest of the registers were self service. I hate those!!!! I waited in line for over 30 minutes to get checked out!

I would not get produce or bread from the bakery here. I picked up a bag of rolls that had fruit flies flying around inside it. Every bag of rolls in the basket had flies in them. The associate I showed could not have cared less. Ive also gotten apples here that had molded severely in the core.

Alabaster Walmart is so much nicer than Pelham Walmart. I will definitely start driving a little farther for a way better experience.

Everyday Low prices, Nice size WalMart, with quite the selection. Has a good bit more items than a normal size WalMart! Nice employees as always!

Had all four tires we needed for our Miata. Friendly staff. Able to get everything else we needed from groceries to toiletries.

From what I could tell everything that I was looking for was stocked and the store appeared to be neat and clean. Not very many staff members to work checkout which expected right now so there was a bit of a wait during the checkout process.

I know you are probably as shocked as I am that Ive given five stars. my oil was changed and my tire was patched and I did save a lot of money going through Walmart instead of one of the little drive-thru places. The reason though that I give them five stars was the woman that took care of my car and determine the services I needed. In addition to being absolutely Pleasant to talk to and friendly she demonstrated an enormous amount of patience dealing with the two weirdos in line in front of me when I was picking my car up. They insisted upon telling every single person that walked in or out of the automobile service center that they ran over a nail on Morgan Road so be careful and they sure are glad they had a warranty. Her patience in this situation kept me from offering my favorite baking recipe for my nearly famous shutthefudgeupcakes

Although we love our local Walmart and visit it often there always seems to be a problem and the checkout. The last four times we went to our local Walmart,there was only 2 cashiers and all the lines had about 10 people in them. I felt sorry for all the older ladies that were having to wait so long in line. Like them we dont like the self check out. The lady that checked us out was nice and friendly. On the other hand the two times that we visited Walmart before this last time, the cashier was very rude and kept stopping during our checkout to talk to other Walmart workers and inventory personnel. It was the checkout that has the cigarettes. We hope that we dont ever have that lady check us out again. We spend a lot of money at Walmart and just want to be treated with respect.

Worst Walmart, couldn’t get anyone to help me . Management couldn’t be found. Employees walk off and ignore you. Pathetic

As far as Walmart’s go this is definitely one of the better ones.

We stopped on our trip to get an oil change while the customer service was polite, they did not have enough employees in the automotive area and we waited forever!

Customer Servicr gets worse everything I go to this Walmart. Ever since they started having less open registers with actual cashier attending and more self check outs in has been downhill. The elderly customers are slower and hold up the lines. Its just not what they wish to do or the way they are planning to pay. Its not their fault. We need to keep that on mind and do what we can to help these community members adjust to these new edits in life

I called Walmart to speak with a manager for my company and I was left on hold for over 40 minutes. Customer service was great and tried to help but once I was transferred, not a single person would pick up the phone. Rude.

I was looking for some curtains I bought at another Walmart and thought I was out of luck. But found them tonight. This store is labeled really well too. In and out with no problems.

I am never impressed when there are NO CASHIERS and I have to use self check out. I dont get paid to work for Walmart and dont get a discount for ringing up my own groceries and I dont lIke doing it period!!!

Went to buy some Grapico drinks and lemon-lime gatorade. There was none of either on the shelves. Left to go pay more at Publix who had it in stock.

Yesterday I visited shelves were somewhat empty. They had no swai fish! 😞 I shouldve asked .....went through self check out like a breeze! Not crowded was able to get in and out...like I like!!!

Good Walmart. No long lines

Got in and out pretty quickly. The store was a mess. Looks like they are rearranging everything. Several shelves have been cleared with inventory sitting in crates in the middle of the aisles. Did not have two of the items I went in looking for, or could not find. I was able to get the .98 lb butterball turkey for our Thanksgiving dinner. Did not have to wait long in line which is a BIG PLUS.

Awful, and I know why I have not been to Walmart in 2 years. Wont be back unless I just absolutely have too, plus everything is double priced now due to inflation!!!

Every time you go to Walmart in Clanton they never have what i need. I try to stay out of this store.

What can I say. Its walmart. For item in stock they have a lot. For out of stock items no one seems to know when it will come in.

I’m so tired of coming to Walmart and there’s only 2 registers open besides self checkout. News flash I don’t want to scan and bag my own groceries and pay the same price. Open up the registers this is ridiculous!

The customers were really sweet. My son is autistic & was having a meltdown, but I had several people offer assistance and encouragement.

Love this walmart, shop here alot, always friendly workers that are willing to help out if needed.

I always judge a Walmart by the helpfulness of their staff and availability of products this one has everything I needed for this trip There are many Walmarts in my area and this is one of the better ones Im not very pleased over all with the self checkout everywhere now and no option of having a actual person check you out anymore in the evening but I still go and they still got what I need and want so here we are..

Its walmart. They need to keep more checkouts open.

Shopping cart corral!!! They do not have any corrals in the middle parking lot. So when they are busy or you just want to park away from everyone, you have to take the cart to the top of the lot. Which then you should just take it back in for them. I think they could be a little more organized.

It was great. Like this walmart better than the camera one. Would rather drive a little farther an like the experience than go to one closer an not like it

Excellent renovations, excellent service, excellent store. Area could not survive without it, before and during Covid Pandemic. Glad to have it here. It gets better every week. Never disappointed.

I love picking up my groceries at the Walmart Supercenter. They always tried hard to be as accommodating as possible. I enjoy the people that bring my food out. Here during this pandemic they have done there very best to make it safe to shop.

I am beyond angry at the service. The grocery delivery system started off great and yet deteriorated the past 4 or 5 orders with this latest order being the worst. The past several orders, there were entirely too many items unavailable. I would go into the store later that day and find the exact items. This time I have been notified of several common and needed items once again unavailable but even worse the delivery was scheduled for 4-5pm yesterday afternoon and I have yet received the order and it is 9am. Communication was never initiated by Walmart to inform me about a delivery issue. This is unacceptable.

Its been several years since I had been to this walmart. It was very clean and as organized as possible. The staff was friendly & my app worked great in the store. I recommend shopping at this location & will definitely shop there again. I found bargains & my grandbabies were definitely happy with their Christmas gifts.

I like the fact that this location offer so much due to its size. Who knew I wanted a Styrofoam mannequin head? I didnt until I saw it there!

I wanted to publicly take an opportunity to thank Tasha who was working the Customer Center tonight when I walked in right as they were unexpectedly closing the Customer counter early. The manager shared that they were having to close early and I would have to come back tomorrow. I tried to explain I was purchasing these items for my students, that I had to be at work for the first day of school in the morning, etc...That’s when Tasha spoke up and said she would help me! She literally made my day. Her patience and diligence making sure I got the correct items was top notch customer service. I am truly grateful!

The store had lots of employees restocking the shelves. I was in and out pretty quickly.

One of the biggest Walmarts Ive ever been in, especially in the Birmingham area.

Terrible terrible service!!! Waited in line for 30 minutes, just to get to the roller and the cashier says, “I’m closed”. I then had to wait an additional hour because the lines were so long!!! I hate WalMart!! Their service sucks!!!!

People working the floor were great.. Friendly and helpful!! My cashier on the other hand, like most almost sounded like a growl instead of a greeting!! I said hello how are you! Mumble..checked me out.. I said..ok thanks have a Merry Christmas! Mumble again!!! Come on Wal-Mart.. I mean seriously.. If they mumble and pretty much ignore the person there at the time.. Get them OFF a register!!! Thank you and Merry Christmas!!!

Most of the time they have what you need and a good quantity.

I really like the craft section at this Wal-Mart. Typically its well stocked and easy to find something I can use. They also have a really good produce section. One thing I didnt like was the number of employees not properly wearing their masks. Quite a few had their nose hanging out.

Had a grocery pickup order scheduled from 4-5. I waited till 5:30 and ultimately ended up having to leave. They said I could come back the next day so when I did, I waited an additional 2 hours without any signs of getting my groceries. Ive been trying to call them but they are taking turns between rejecting everyones phone calls or just completely shutting off their phones. No one even picked up for the stores regular number. Im still waiting right now, I dont even know if I can cancel my order or not because its supposedly ready. Probably the worst customer service experience Ive ever had. Btw, during this entire time, I havent seen one person get their groceries yet.

Better than I remember

Manager Tyler was rude and dismissive over an item that was on the shelf but not showing up in inventory. Tyler also showed lack of respect by degrading Nick who has always provided exceptional customer service. I will be returning all my items and taking my business elsewhere.

Was supposed to get my groceries @ 5pm 1/12 it’s is now 1/13 at 645pm. I chose pickup in order to decrease my exposure. I am now inside waiting for my groceries. George the OGP manager is trash. Not one apology. CSM paged OGP manager over 5x and it was over 30min before he even came And talked with me.
