I had the best experience at Tire Choice Auto today in Alameda. They figured out what was wrong with my tire and went above and beyond when it took a tiny bit longer than they had estimated. I will definitely be back when I need new tires. Such a great, friendly staff.

Ive worked with Tire Choice in Alameda twice and both times have been wowed by their service. From the clean facility, genuinely friendly and caring staff, being spoken to like a partner and not treated in the stereotypical manner of a woman who isnt smart enough to understand cars/ common sense... I trust their practice, expertise, professionalism and truly feel valued as their customer. Additional shout out to the Tire Choice in Dublin, who provided assistance and humor in an emergency and who also treated me like a family member and not a consumer.

Tires and work good. Poor communication with desk staff. Unclear what price was for other work. No one wearing a mask. Very unsafe.

Excellent service. Fair price. Friendly staff. I provided my own new tire pressure sensors which did not function when installed. the manager agreed to install different sensors and did so without question when I provided a new set of sensors that functioned with my vehicle.

Tire Choice Alameda has come to my rescue now on 2 occasions.They first helped me with a flat tire that I found had a screw in it when I was driving around Alameda doing errands. The second time they helped me by replacing my very dead battery. Each time they were friendly, helpful and very efficient.Manager Russ was especially helpful during the battery replacement job. Thank you so much to them for taking care of these immediately needed repairs. Much appreciated!

Stopped in on an early Sunday morning with a slow leaking tire. (Yes, they are open on Sundays, I think Russ called it Sunday: Flat tire day). He told me it would take about an hour, so I took my dogs for a nice walk along the water and when I returned, they were finishing up. Thank you!

Andy went above and beyond with customer service. After dealership said tire was not repairable and wanting to charge $270+, came to Tire Choice and Andy was able to assess that the tire was indeed repairable. Honest and hard working staff. Highly recommend their service location in Alameda.

Great service and very quick. Andy was very sweet. They were closing when my tire went flat turning into the parking lot. My daughter ran across the parking lot to tell them I needed help. They stayed late to make sure I could drive home 10 minutes later i was back on the road

These guys are great. I got some new tires with them, and I heard a clacking sound a week later when I was driving. I brought it back, they checked it for free, and fixed the wheel weight that came loose. All said and done in 30 minutes with no appointment needed. Add that to fair prices and nice staff, and this place is an easy 5 stars! I will be sad when I move away, because this is a hard-to-find great place for honest auto service.

Fast and efficient service. They had 4 tires in stock and they had the capability for alignment for our forester.

Andy was a big help to me and my two little girls. He got me a tire right away. While waiting he offered my girls snacks and juice. I will definitely be coming here again.

Andy Melero, absolutely terrible customer service, the invoice is wrong with my tire pressure PSI and it affect my insurance claim. Ask ANDY MELERO for a corrected one but what he said is “it’s too late, we can’t do it”. Spoke to Andy on the phone asking about my tires, I didn’t have an appointment and came in 5 minutes after calling. He greeted me at the door with a warm welcome and managed to take my car in and get me out of there as soon as possible! Great customer service as well as being quick and efficient

FYI - Appointments do not mean anything. I would recommend elsewhere if you value your time.I had scheduled an appointment for 1:30PM and called in to confirm. We were told to go ahead and bring our car in over the phone. When we arrived we where told they had a long line ahead of us and to come back at 3:30PM. When I asked if my appointment meant anything I was told It does, but come back at 3:30PM, we have other cars ahead of you. Seems the definition of an appointment has fallen on deaf ears here.

These guys are the best - will never go anywhere else. They saved us from replacing four tires- sealed up a couple nails and said we have another 5-6k miles to go. Very trustworthy - highly recommend!!!!

This morning, I found a nail in my tire and needed Sunday service to get it fixed because it was leaking. I was able to find Tire Choice online and was able to schedule a same day appointment to get it repaired. Chris and Russ were great in getting the tire reviewed and patched up in about 15-20 minutes. Really appreciate their help and customer service. I would recommend these guys anytime for tire work or other services.

I had a very positive experience with this auto mechanic business and their manager Andy so far. First time I dropped my car at random to get a flat tire fixed - left the car there on Saturday evening, got it back on Sunday morning. Second time I had to get sway bar links replaced and wheel alignment done - everything was done well and in about an hour or so. They even waived the charge for the item which they checked at my request, where the intermittent issue did not reproduce in their hands.I would highly recommend this place.

Brought my vehicle here because Tire Choice is part of the fleet program that my work started using. They are very helpful and attentive to your needs. I needed new set of tires and they suggested something a little better which I am happy with. They also looked into my front brakes and showed me how low it was and got that replaced too. Only thing is that they took about 2 days to get a set of tires/front brakes changed. One of the guys told me that they are busy because of low man power, but hopefully it will get better. I would still recommend place if you have a flexible schedule and can leave you vehicle there most of the day depending on the service that needs to be done.

Excellent service. I went in for a slow puncture. They checked all tyres. Also Andy gave advice on a possible problem which I now have to take up with Toyota. And....as a bonus they replaced my missing tyre valve caps without even telling me. What a surprise. Toyota do not even do that when we pay hundreds for ac service. Thanks to Andy and his team.

Kindness is rare in this day and age, but I’m glad I found that with Andy and his team here at Tire Choice of Alameda. I was exhausted and stressed from being disappointed for hours with delayed roadside assistance from my dealership, so I decided to give the local auto service center a call. I’m a brand new customer and was helped immediately. They were solution oriented and very generous! Andy and his team quickly found the key to unlock the wheels (which I could not find for the longest time), helped me replaced the flat tire and connected me with another location where I can get my exact tire replaced within the day. I had them do and an alignment and mount new tires. 15mins after they closed I got a call saying the work was done. After that I took a plane to see family for a while. When I came back I noticed the alignment issues were not fixed and no alignment sheet was not included with my paperwork. I dont believe the alignment was proformed, but I was charged anyways.Shady business if you ask me.

Tire Choice in Alameda has taken good care of our family vehicles for years. I have a fleet vehicle- they work with my fleet company to get the maintenance I need, and we also take our personal vehicles there. I appreciate the crew there because they let me know what to expect and then they deliver. Loyal customer.UPDATE/EDIT: Unfortunately, Tire Choice has let me down 4x in a row. They havent done what they say they would do, and have wasted my time each of the last four times Ive been there- all for very simple things. Probably couldve been fixed with better communication. Hate to say it, but wouldve never happened when Malcolm was there. Sorry guys, but you have lost a long-time customer.
