I give this place one star because of what happened to me with the auto care center. I had an appointment for a vehicle alignment with them. I showed up at the scheduled time and waiting in the little side office for about 10 min before anyone came to ask me if I needed help. When someone finally did come see me, they told me that I would have to come back in about an hour or so, because they had to take in an “emergency alignment” from a body shop. I went to this place because of the good reviews, and maybe I was just the one in 100 that got unlucky, who knows? I ended up going to another local place with good reviews that same day because they could fit me in in a reasonable amount of time. I’m not sure what an “emergency alignment” is, but I assume it just means someone was willing to pay more, so my appointment meant nothing to them, even though I definitely had a lot of other time sensitive things going on that day that this threw a wrench into. Like I said before, maybe I was just the isolated case, and they are actually awesome 99% of the time, but I figured I’d share my experience.

Stopped in with a trailer tire with low psi, was very concerned with its stability and condition. Was helped by Gary, he was very helpful and patiently answered all my questions. Truly a professional when it came to tires.

This place is amazing. Not only do they have great hardware, grilling and automotive sections, but customer service couldn’t be better. I went on a Friday morning because I was having issues with my new van’s license plate bolts, and Jerry(?) did everything he could to help and when they didn’t have exactly what I needed, he told me the exact best solution/what to buy where I can find it. Customer service when he didn’t expect to make any money, you can’t ask for better than that. Of course I found a reason to buy some grilling products anyway.

I love going in there sometimes I just make up a reason to go

This review is for the tire and service center:Not only did they do a fantastic job repairing the brake line in my truck, but they went above and beyond my expectations in service. It is very hard to find respectable, kind, excellent customer service. But every single person I interacted with was helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. I would highly recommend using their services to anyone.

Love this locally owned store! Always give me that hometown feeling. They have recently remodeled and omg they have an AMAZING selection of everything. A great store to keep your business local! Something for everyone, and great customer service all the way around!

Extremely friendly! My tire blew next to their shop and I had a truck bed full of groceries. They were able to find me a tire that would fit and got me back on the road under 10minutes. When their mehcanic had a full line of work orders he still fit me in🙏💜👍

Another of Alamogordos hidden treasures. Great Britain staff. Always there to help. But not a bother. They have a little of everything there. Plus shooting supplies and guns. Washers driers refrigerators and more.

Amazing customer service. Mechanics do awesome work and really take care of their customers

So far my experience has been good. They were able to pencil me in, while they were incredibly busy. As of this posting, my car is in the shop, so I dont know how good of mechanics they are.
